The 9:00 AM Supratours “confort” bus from Marrakech to Essaouira was on time and the bus itself is a superior version than the other buses in the large Supratours fleet operating in all areas of Morocco. There is delightful air-conditioning, large clean windows with curtains, comfortable reclining seats with good back support and extra legroom, WiFi and the bus had a professional driver. The Supratours bus from Marrakech made a 20-minute rest stop at Café-Restaurant Atlas about one hour before the 12:00 noon arrival at the small Supratours bus station in Essaouira, just outside the Médina walls. If you have to get a petit taxi, they are blue in color and very inexpensive. I paid 10 DH and a helpful man sitting in the front seat who lived near my riad actually walked me to the place. For longer journeys, you can’t go wrong with Supratours. Best to reserve a week or more in advance during high summer season. Otherwise, best to buy your ticket a day or two before your departure and get to the station at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. Supratours does not take credit or debit cards, so bring cash in Moroccan Dirhams to buy your ticket. If you use normal buses, you must pay 5 Dirhams for each bag or suitcase that goes in the luggage compartment under the bus. If you use the “confort” luxury buses, you do not have to pay the 5 Dirhams for each checked suitcase, for which you are given a stick-on baggage tag that has numbers that correspond with your Supratours bus ticket.

I was very impressed with Supratours when we used their 'luxury' coach service between Marrakech and Essaouira. This runs daily leaving Marrakech at 09h00 and returning from Essaouira at 17h00. The coach is comfortable and has plenty of leg room and is air conditioned and both our departure and arrival times were spot on. The journey these days is much more straightforward than when I drove this road about twenty years ago when it wound its way across the desert and unlit donkey carts were a problem afterdark; now it is motorway and dual-carriageway the whole way. A break is taken for a 'comfort break' at a town about halfway through the journey at a café cum shop but you need to be quick but the staff are clearly well used to giving customers a quick turnround. All in all it was a very comfortable and enjoyable way to make this journey, we felt entirely safe in the hands of our Supratours driver and this is the only way that I would make this journey in future.

Took this bus from Marrakech to Essaouira and return. The journey was very comfortable and relaxing. The cost of the ticket reasonable. I bought a flex rate and when I went to the Essaouira office to change the time of my return it was not possible. I had to buy a new ticket. That was not fair but I accepted it. What instead was unacceptable was the unpleasant and unprofessional behavior and manner of the two ladies who was working in the office. They was not able to give me the informations I need it and Was obvious they did not want to help. Additionally they could not speak English or so they pretended not to. As a tourist traveling in an unknown country I felt very mistreated and not welcomed.

Highly recommend this company when travelling through Morocco, spacious comfortable seats, air conditioning and you get a bathroom break stop.

Modern buses, Wifi on board, A/C, much better than CTM company. Just before departure you have to check-in your luggage in the office and paid 5 MAD

Well organized bus tours within Morocco. Our trip from Essaouria to Marrakech went perfectly smooth. Fair price (100 MAD per person).

Bus from Essaouira to Agadir is on time and busy, but be aware that there is a scammer woman working on this bus station that will force just tourists buy a baggage ticket even for small backpacks.

One of the best companies to go from Marrakech to Essaouiri. Modern busses with airco and stop in between to relax, eat and go to toilet.

Great busses although the don't have a toilet. They do stop fairly often though.

Supratours in Essauria has relatively small facilities when comparing with Marrakech or Agadir. Supratours buses are super luxury, comfortable and plent of leg space to stretch. The bus stop in Essauria is located very close Medina and the beach. The Medina has inundated with varieties of shops particularly restaurants. I took a bus from Essauria to Marrakech. The bus stopped halfway at a service station that has toilet and other facilities. I highly recommend supratours busses

The bus is clean and there’s WIFI! When you arrive in Essouira, friendly luggage men will take your bags to your Riad. The station is a bit out of the main old city but very convenient

We got scammed! Already paid 12 euro per person on the internet and they wanted 10euros for luggage and started to drive away when we refused to pay. The woman in the ticket sale and the guy counting in people working together. Very aggressive and rude

The bus was in time and the prices are good. But the bus station is really dirty. Rubbish flying around everywhere 😑
