Amazing food and ambiance. We got Zaalouk salad, couscous and the chicken tajine. All tasted great and homemade! The owner was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Hands down the best restaurant in Essaouira, and possibly one of the best restaurants in Morocco that I’ve been to. The food is incredible, the vibe is so great, and the service is absolutely on point. If you’re looking for a restaurant, stop looking and go here! Thank you The Coast!

Absolutely delightful cafe in the heart of the medina, Essaouria! Highly recommend trying The Coast for brekky, lunch or dinner. We really enjoyed sitting out the front and watching the world go by whilst enjoying some of the best food we’ve had during our time in Morocco 🇲🇦 The service, WiFi, food and general chilled vibes were fantastic. 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came to eat a couscous, the music was so loud and very noisy, I politely asked the waiter to reduce the voice a little bit, he was very rude and he refused. Bad service, impolite and low attitude from the unfriendly waiter (it seems Im not alone, many people here claimed same thing). I don’t recommend at all. Stay away. Better to go to la tolerance, which is just in the corner, very welcoming and professional staff. Can’t give zero to this bad place, unfortunately.

I had a vegetarian couscous and it was soooo tasty, with a lot of flavors. We saw the owner/waiter going for some bread refill at the bakery during the evening, quite refreshing to know that everything is homemade and made locally. A few tables available outside. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Essaouira!

By far the place to grab lunch or dinner in Essaouira. In terms of price quality there is nothing like it. My girlfriend and I have been there multiple days in a row now and we love it more every time. It's a little restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and good music. The service is fast and friendly and the food always tastes amazing. I personally recommend taking any of the tajines.

Excellent service, delicious food and good prices. I had the vegetarian couscous which was light, fluffy, the perfect texture and so flavorful. Great meal for our first night here and will definitely return.

I made my way over to The Coast for dinner. This place was recommended by a handful of other travellers I had met in Essaouira. I ordered their seafood pastilla which was a big hit!

This is a little gem in Essaouira! Cute, small, very friendly, tasty good (best vegetarian couscous of the town!!), good music and fast service! You won't find that too often in Essaouira! Definitely come here if you'd like to explore the local food for a good price in a relaxed surrounding!
