The fish soup is just tomato, you can not feel it. Overall a bad place to eat, you can find better.

Very friendly, open for everything you ask service. Non posh food... big portions. The interieur is amazing... soft rock music... candels on the table... The floortiles are amazing here, in an outstanding condition an arrangement that surpass all tiles i saw everywhere in Essaouira... dont forget to check those tiles out... really, its art... To bad they use white cold light... lets see when they change those lightbulbs... Now... while youre looking at the lightbulbs check the ceiling out in the income room and be amazed about the craftmanswork...

We had fish soup which was quite bland, aubergine salad - same. Shrimps piri piri were delightful! The place could have been cleaner even for Moroccan standards ;)

The restaurant is very conveniently located. Very diligent and pleasant staff. Fresh fish. Prepared without frills, but the price is small.

In contrast to all the modern and touristic restaurants around, this place captures the authentic Moroccan cuisine essence. Cosy and friendly, it's the type of restaurant where one can expect to find locals, while portions where huge, the plates delicious and fish was fresh. Definitely try out tuna and avocado salad as well as the fish soup.

A lovely place! DELICIOUS sea food, all fresh, greatly presented and the owner was so friendly, gave us mint tea and almond biscuits from the house! Would highly recommend! Try the cream caramel :)

It's a rather simple restaurant, but with very delicious traditional Moroccan dishes.

You can pick any of the daily menus it will be a good choice for the price. I recommend the sardines.

You wanna enjoy all kinds of Moroccan food, Dar Al Houma is the perfect place to go. I liked their food. It's really delicious and the prices are good ones. I highly recommend it.

Had some moroccan pastry and mint tea at this place for a snack and it is what as I expected. Nice and warm moroccan atmosphere and the staff was really attentive.

Small menu, but delicious, authentic fare. I visited on my last night of a solo trip to Essaouira and the atmosphere is so cosy and lovely. Have the Royal Lamb Tagine- it is fantastic!

Good food and price. You can find different kind of fish and sea food, local food. Also here you can find lunch menu. Now far from the main square. Good atmosphere and polite staff. Highly recommended.
