Not a bad selection, though a bit pricey. They have alcohol for sale in room to the side with separate registers and a special exit of shame so you can leave without anyone seeing what you are up to

This is a really great supermarket, particularly if you’re a tourist and are missing some home comforts. The fresh produce section has everything you could want and all seemingly high quality. The selection of everything else at the supermarket was quite incredible. Just about any item you could think of is available. There’s also the added bonus of the Le Cave where you can buy alcohol. It’s in a separate ‘room’ off the main supermarket, and also has a separate exit in order for your walk of shame to be less public. For Le Cave, it’s worth noting that it closes at 7:30 PM (earlier than the main supermarket) and is closed entirely on Fridays. My only criticism was the bakery. There was no fresh bread available on any of the occasions that I went there. This meant having to get packaged. It’s not the end of the world, but might be something to look at, since the supermarket is flawless outside of that.

Products very expensive. Poor stock control so often unable to get certain items. The main problem I have with Carrefour Essaouira is they continually OVERCHARGE their customers. For example: product is offered at a promotion price on the shelf, but FULL price is charged at check-out. AND many items are placed in the wrong area of a shelf so that a chesper price ticket is shown below the product. A totally similar but always more expensive product is labelled incorrectly on thr shelf. Approximately I find my bills ar 10 -20% above what I am expecting to pay. When you complain and show the "permanence" staff member they take about 20 minutes to organise a refund so people do not bother. Most customers do not check everything...but I do. Carrefour are tricking and overcharging nearly everybody. That's MILLIONS of dirhams!!!

Good selection of foods, both fresh and on the shelf. There is also a wine/beer/spirits shop attached but you have to pay separately, it is shut on a Friday.

This review is only about the orange juice that was supposed to be freshly squeezed from the orange juice machine. The bottles I purchased the other day taste VERY off. There is some alternative smell that smells like vinegar and it taste funny. I drink fresh orange juice all the time so I know how it should taste. In addition to this, the contents of the bottle separates showing it’s mixed with something water based. Fresh orange juice never separates. Not happy at all as I bought two big bottles hoping to enjoy fresh juice but I was left with these.

the store is fine. I especially like their selection of bulk dried goods. the mark down in rating is because I walked 3km specifically to visit the bottle shop and it closed at 7:45pm instead of at 8pm in Marrakesh, so I missed out

A really nice grocery store. They have a wide selection amongst brands and offerings. The store is well merchandised and clean. They even have prepared samples to taste in Saturdays.

This place could make an onion cry. No customer service, the checkout assistants are so dense light bends around them. I’d say avoid but it’s the only main super market in Essaouira other than Aswak salam.

So clean and well organized. Great selection of products, including a range of Carrefours own bio products I have had difficulty finding at other Carrefours. The produce is fresh and everything is fairly easy to find
