Essaouira on the coast. Rugged, beautiful, full of life, sounds of waves and seagulls. Authentic and warm.

The first city I visited right after Marrakesh. The city is quite colorful. Lots to see and eat around medina. The port, which is one of the locations to shoot GOT, well... There's not much to see and as expected, the air smells fishy. There are plenty of nice riyads in the medina with different price range. Some buildings and shops are painted in blue, maybe inspired by Chefchaouen? Overall, a nice visit.

Thi place is amazing, we stayed there with my friend for a week. We felt in love with the old city and we were able to try kite surf on the beach. There are few surfspots around essaouira for all levels. Food and people are super !

A place to visit when you come to Morocco on holiday. Very easy to get to from Marrakech. It has a very different vibe, very relaxed with beautiful architecture.
