Honestly this is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a fitness studio. The gym trainer literally mocked me during the training. I informed the administration about it who did not bother to reply to my Email. This is the service I got after paying more than 250 Euro. I sent an angry Email after a month,saying I wanted to end my contract to which they replied saying their trainer was a popular one and they had never received such a feedback. But it didn't end there. They went on to say, even I must have experienced that my patients have given me a negative feedback although I as a doctor gave my best. What kind of administration is this? They don't know the word customer care. As I returned my key, even the lady at the reception looked the least bothered. I agree with the other review which talks about their attitude "uns egal, wir haben doch andere Kunden". So overall horrible, shameless management ans staff.

Clean and tidy, which is a given in the sauna area. Sufficient quiet rooms, light wellness cuisine. Slight disadvantage of steam sauna for older people and severely disabled people: top seats are harder to reach. Because the distances between the seats are too large, especially when leaving the upper seats. Therefore only four stars.

Beautiful, well-kept sauna area in Japanese style, not so huge, almost family-like. Beautifully landscaped garden. Only the gastronomy is a little monotonous, the selection is small and always the same except for the weekend.

Grugapark is simply wonderful to just relax. And let your mind wander. Only the toilets in the orangery are not recommended. Totally dirty and dirty. 👎👎👎

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Saunalandschaft, mit freundlichem Personal. Ich kenne in Essen keine, die auf dem Niveau mithalten könnte. Es wird ständig erweitert und modernisiert, wobei natürlich das alte ehemals eine Gastronomie beherbergende Gebäude, auch Grenzen aufzeigt. Fitness- / Rehabereich war ich persönlich noch nicht. Soll aber auch gut sein.

Die Therme ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, man bekommt allerdings für sein Geld trotzdem eine gute Auswahl an Saunen und gute Aufgüsse.

After parking the car it was a few steps to the sauna facility. We liked the facility, the restaurant was clean, the ambience was okay, the food was good (salad) with a tendency towards mediocre (chicken teriaki). There were enough saunas, clean and well maintained, but we found the outdoor area too small and not enough green space. In my personal opinion, ponds could be removed and a nice lawn would be much nicer than the volcano gravel place. Conclusion: highly recommended to relax. It was also great not to see any cell phones. Because that is forbidden and people adhere to it 👌🏼

I would prefer not to give a star!! The term is really nice, but I'm constantly being attacked with racism. You don't feel comfortable with foreign roots, you're not warmly welcomed by the clients or the staff at all. If you want to experience racism, please visit the Kurhaus!!
