What an excellent Museum, we didn't expect it having gone to visit the cemetery at Fromelles as we had followed its construction since 2008. An excellent staff, speaking very good English and full of interesting facts and ideas. A good mix of interactive and found artefacts, some of which are highly interesting and which we had never seen Very reasonable prices, 6 euros for the 2 of us, good parking and a thoroughly enjoyable but sad visit for so many wasted young lives. Highly, highly recommend.

We visited here again as ten years ago it had just been announced. The Commonwealth War Grave was moving and as they all are, a symbol of the gallantry of those fought here. The museum brings this story to life and shows the resilience of the soldiers of all nations who fought here. The displays are excellent, the interactive elements humanise the people who fought here and also tell their families story as well. Very moving and the staff are amazing. Geoffrey one of the historians talked to us for ages and he said they like any information that relatives can provide about the soldiers buried here. Please visit if you are here.

Small but very good. Right next to Cemetery. Staff very good and helpful. Moving map tables explain how it went pear shaped quickly.

Very good, very professional, modern small museum of the battle. Helpful bilingual staff and audio guide available. Could get crowded if two or more coach trips on site. Small free car park. Clean toilets. Vending machine soft drinks.

Well worth a visit. However, be prepared to get emotional about some things. The Musium & exhibits tell the story of this forgotten battle. The work to recover the remains and identify them is amazing. So many families have found out about their relatives and their eventual resting place.

One of the most moving ww1 memorials as it is such a recent event, worth a visit to one of the less known battlefields

Very nice small museum about the WWI soldiers that fought the battle near Fromelles and who's unknown bodies were found close by. The museum shows an tells about the fights and how the soldiers fought and lived in the trenches. In the museum they support language's like French, Dutch, English and German, there is also a small audioguide. Price is reasonable.

An impressive museum and memorial. Museum not only shares the battle detail but the fascinating on going research in identification of soldiers. A time lapse video shows the construction of the memorial. Vending drinks priced at 50 cents and small choice of vending confectionary.
