You can not come to gonder and leave without checking out this restaurant. It’s an amazing Ethiopian bib mixed with different culture and traditional clothes. They have amazing food with reasonable price for local and international tourists. I enjoy the traditional food and international food as well. They have a cleaver cloth that they give you when you’re cold. It’s Peruvian 🇵🇪 Very comfortable and warm 🙏🏽 Service is good and waiters are amazing. They start singing from the door gate (the guard) and continues until you sit down with a traditional music instrument. Quite impressive.

Be aware! They have 2 menus. One in English and one in Amharic. If you are not Ethiopian, they will give you the English menu. The prices are more than 2 times the ones of the Amharic menu. When you ask for the Amharic menu, they will lie and tell you that they only have a menu in English. Avoid this place. There are much better places in Gondar that are much cheaper.

This restaurant is popular among tourists, but manages to avoid feeling like a tourist trap. The prices are reasonable and the food and service are very good! It also has a very nice ambiance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The buffet was amazing, along with the honey wine, the artwork, the music and the dancing! The price was excellent as well. I'll be looking for Ethiopian restaurants in the U.S. but they will have to be really good to match The Four Sisters!

Great food. Best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had. Staff were incredibly warm; like I was a friend returning for dinner. I had the national dish; two days in a row. Great ambiance, great food and great waiters. Very reasonably priced. There is construction (paving the road by the looks of it) on the street outside so arriving felt like I was in the wrong place.

Restaurant for tourists but very authentic and very hygienic. I felt confident consuming everything on the buffet spread. Very tasty food, great ambiance and although pricey compared to very local places, it was really reasonable and worth it in my opinion.

Grilled fish as a really nice option. Also cold beers and friendly/nice service and chef! Very good option as a place to eat. 2 grilled fish + 2 beers + 1l water bottle = +/- 330 ETB

We were offered a lunch by a local tourist guide and I wished to test pizza Margherita, chef's speciality, which was pretty good. The chef served us a sample of grilled fish and it was excellent. I think this restaurant can be good for western people who are not used to local Ethiopian food, except for the toilet whose cleanliness and efficiency are absolutely unacceptable for western standards.

The English menu is very different from the Amharic one when it comes to prices. They specialize in fish dishes. They cost around 180 birr per one medium sized plate. The fish goulash was very tasty. We enjoyed the food but my boyfriend got a little bit sick afterwards.

Good food, we had the shira with vegetables. English is not too good but you are able to communicate well enough. Food is well priced.

Pretty disappointing - prices were almost twice as high than Four Sisters for the same dish that they're supposed to be famous for (fish) and it's a pretty depressing dark place - skip and go to Four Sisters instead!

(Translated by Google) Be careful with the price of the wine that does not match the one on the menu. (Original) Cuidado con el precio del vino que no coincide con el de la carta.

Over priced, total rip off if you’re not local. Loo’s hygiene extremely poor. Also while I washed my hands outside a huge fellow pushed by and urinated with the door open. Not the establishment’s fault really but it didn’t add exactly add to the feel of the place.

Had the chicken soup that was not bad. Food not good. Atmosphere and staff are very good. Went for dinner and they only had the same lamb only from lunch time If you are opened for business, give service.

I unfortunately have to say: food was correct but not amazing and the prices are very high for Ethiopia. We asked for the menu in amharic and were told “ it didn’t exist” although 2/3 of the clientele at lunch was Ethiopian... If prices are different for foreigners then it should no be hidden!

Probably the best restaurant in Ethiopia. It’s made for tourists but still very authentic and cute. The waiters are incredibly cute. The food is very good, the price is fine and it’s a real experience.

Very professional. Very great food. The vegetable soup that comes before the main meal is so delicious. They sereve as respectfully from the beginning to the end.

One of the best dining experiences I had in Ethiopia. Wish we could've visited at least a second time before we had to leave Gondar. On top of the amazing food, the Tej there was also the best that I had. Hope to be back some day.

The restaurant it’s charming and the 4 sisters who runs it are welcoming and very amusing. Although it’s 100% catered for tourists it makes a great night out with home made quality food; nice ambience and energetic ethno-dance show. Recommended
