The hotel is beautifully built and located on an area with breathtaking view and a nicely designed swimming pool. The hotel staff are well trained, very attentive and very friendly. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The food is very good where the chef himself may take orders. Sauna, steam and gym are complimentary services.

Nice place, very peaceful. Staff are attentive, place is clean, rooms are great. They really try hard here. Had the local Nile perch for dinner - was incredibly delicious! Probably best locally owned hotel in all of Ethiopia.

It is ok in my experience, but I expected more from resort which is big such as haile Service is little poor,the gym is very small with very little room for fresh air to circulate and the women locker room windows are very open which made it difficult to feel free of changing inside the room while the swimming pool is right outside. In general I was not happy with my stay

We stayed at haile resort for three days to celebrate our anniversary, our stay was very pleasant. All the staffs were very respectful, the view is amazing, the food is great, and the room is comfortable. Haile resort gives a great experience of relaxation and physical activity.

Overall the best hotel in the city. Great rooms, great service BUT. If you plan on doing a massage, forget about it. There were more mosquitoes in the room than all of Africa combined. 5 minutes into the massage I wanted to leave, and when I told the lady she just laughed.

Beautiful property with the most beautiful view. Would have given the property 5 stars were it not for a waiter / server at breakfast coming to my table to ask me to remove the hotel robe I was wearing over my outfit because of the cold. I have been to many properties & hotels across the world and that has never been an issue… so I was so confused onto why that was an issue and why the waiter had to ask me, their customer to remove it. Weirrrrrrd !!!! Of course I declined to remove it because what RIDICULOUS demand is that? I also asked to see the manager so I can understand… who never came to speak to me. The food is also a little wanting, it could use some improvement. Breakfast is bland, I ordered room service (Chicken curry); honestly I couldn’t fathom consuming whatever they brought. The soup was melted oil that has been exposed to cold. 😑 If not for the two things, I would have given this property 5 stars… otherwise 3 stars for now.

Rooms are good and clean. Water does not easily drain from shower, no telephone in the rooms, poor Internet connection in rooms, white towels and bathrob are now off colour. Service is good and food good. Some waiters seem to speak only amharic and can't communicate well with foreigners

Staff was amazing. The massage therapists & spa staff were extremely helpful & nice. The food was excellent at Zebra Restaurant. Selamwit was our concierge at Zebra & we had several fun meals there. Hiwot was especially helpful getting us to the airport when our stay was over. Rooms were exceptionally clean & we even met the owner Hailey Gebrselassie!! Amazing visit overall.

One of the best hotels in Ethiopia, i’ve visited. Unforgettable panoramic terrace. Nice outdoor swimming pool working from early morning(6:30am). Good variety for breakfast, especially surprised with sour soup juice. Big rooms with balconies, A/C and mosquito net.

We stayed at haile resort for Five days . excellent location. Good food and good hospitality by The staff and management team/special thanks for Mesfin /waitress, Ephrem /supervisor/ . Good in assisting guests with any requests or special inquiries they may have, always adhering to the high standards of customer service established by the hotel's policies. I recommend this hotel to everyone, who is looking for a good stay, good food and great hospitality.

Beautiful hotel with an equally beautiful view. The staff go above and beyond and deserve special recognition. However, at check out we were hit with a 900 birr bill for the towel getting dirty. The staff claimed to have washed the towel and could not get the dirt out. Yes you heard right, we were being charged because the towel they put on the bathroom floor was dirty. We washed the towel by hand in the bathroom and managed to immediately get the stain out. I know the money seems minute but this is more of a principle issue.For the amount of money we paid for the rooms being charged for a dirty towel is ridiculous and quite frankly sad!!

It was an amazing stay the service is so amazing the food is excellent and the view from the room is like nothing else. I highly recommend it.

Although the location was beautiful, I am greatly disappointed in the food here at the resort. Being that it’s the “nicest” resort here in Arba Minch the food was mediocre at best and to make matters worse, me and my entire family was left with food poisoning. I threw up when I woke up this morning on my ride back to Addis Ababa. This place was a 0/10 when it comes to their food, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had no problems at all with the local restaurants I ate at, which not to mention were much cheaper than the food served at haile resort. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!!

The view from the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a fridge, safe, TV, kettle and air conditioning. Each room has a balcony, the forest/lake view rooms are highly recommended as they have a beautiful view and you can watch the sunrise. In the rooms with mountain view you can watch the sunset. There are no mosquito nets, so bring your own protection if necessary. There is a very large breakfast offer. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the price-performance ratio is great. The staff is super friendly and tries to implement all extra wishes. The pool is quite cool, but very refreshing. Unfortunately, a new building was under construction during our stay, which disturbed the peace very much. There is a gym with lots of equipment and trainers. In the spa I can recommend the massages, very good and cheap. If you are traveling without a tour guide, unfortunately the hotel cannot give good recommendations for guides. We got Miju as a guide via detours and were super happy with him. He takes care, goes extra ways to make everything to our satisfaction. He can be reached at +251 92 611 2219. Highly recommended!

Very good location, the two lakes sitting next to each other added to the touch. Staff are very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the traditional cuisine.

It is sad! Even the most Bureaucratic goverment office doesn't have a discriminating regulation; actually,they even supply a bottled water when you are there to complain! We decided to have dinner at Haile's hotel and walked over there. Sadly, we were denied access to the hotel because one of us had a bottled water at hand. Is it a Hotel or a prison????

I had the pleasure of staying at an exceptional resort, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, every aspect of my stay was outstanding. The accommodations were a luxurious, the dining was exquisite, and the staff provided exceptional service. I highly recommend this resort for an unforgettable getaway.

Whenever I visit Haile Resort, the experience and their hospitality are amazing. But this time, they didn’t care about my booking details. We should wait for their mistake: booked different types of rooms. We ordered Acacia Rose glasses as a room service, but they brought almost red-colored wine and the taste of it was not a rose🤣 The reason they explained, they served it a long time ago opened wine. It cannot happen in well organized resort. Also, the shuttle time(resort to the airport) made quite a long waiting time at the airport. Plz make another shuttle time to reduce the wasting time.

We just went there for breakfast. It is pricy though and the pastry tastes a bit dry and old. The juice, coffee (machiato) and omelet were nice. Also the view is stunning, similar to other resorts in the area.

We had an amazing stay the hospitality of the staff is unlike an other, the food was good I would recommend adding more variety though. All the facilities were accessible to us and we had a really good stay 😊

All the staff members were very friendly. Almost there was no internet in our rooms ,something has to be done about that. Other than that we enjoyed our stay .

A breathing location situated infront of Lake Abaya intersected by the "Bridge of God" with Lake Chamo that are a rift valley formation! The legendary Haile seems to have instilled his motivation, respect and excellence in his employees @ Arbaminch Haile Resort. I have never seen such a courtesy and customer service skills, cleanliness of the rooms, Food ( What a Chef!) and hospitality. The shuttle service was amazing. Our luggages have been unloaded and loaded with the motivated employees and the driver himself. This hotel is much better than lots of hotels in the western hemisphere. My advice to the staff is just to keep up the excellent job they are doing!

The service here is exceptional. One of my collogues was not feeling well. We had checked out and was killing time in the lobby till our flight time. One of the employees noticed my friend was clearly not feeling well as she noticed her dozing off on her seat. Not only was she concerned enough to ask what was wrong, allowed her to rest in her room till our flight time, even though that is several hours past check out time. All the staff were very friendly and quick to be helpful.
