One of the greatest Sheraton premises i have ever seen. Service is perfect. Interior is just gorgeous. Rooms are unbelievable. Good bar with nice dance and music show.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis. I really enjoyed my stay there. Checking in was very quick and our luggage was delivered to our rooms. Every staff was very friendly and accommodating to our every needs from early morning to late at night. They had amazing Breakfast every morning and the service there was truly exceptional. Rooms were kept in great condition and very clean. Special thanks to manager Mr Melaku for making our stay more enjoyable by going over and beyond. I will definitely recommend staying at Sheraton Hotel in Addis.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished and very homely. They have a wide range of options on their buffet, catering for both Ethiopian as well as continental cuisine. There is a nice running track within the hotel, swimming pool and a number of restaurants. The place gets very busy especially during the weekends with families coming in mostly for swimming and brunch. I would definitely visit again.

I went to their restaurant for lunch and I had pasta with seafood and finishing up my meal I found a very dark well cooked roach at the bottom of my plate. It was disgusting and unpleasant but I did not react to it, from management to chef came out to apologize and even offered us deserts but I didn’t even wanted to finish my water. Other than that service was great. I was not happy the manager picked up my purse and hang it on my chair it’s a cultural thing but I found it offensive “ I don’t like people touching my purse” also I didn’t say anything. Would I ever go and eat? Absolutely not!

Sheraton Addis is a beautiful hotel. Might have the dated feel for some but they simply don't build them like that anymore. I had the worst possible check in experience and pretty much had to figure out where my room was. Service was below average for a Sheraton hotel. But perhaps its due to cultural inclinations. I enjoyed the breakfast options. Fantastic range of fresh juices and smoothies that was a highlight for me every morning. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints there. Overall decent hotel. Service wanting. Decent location and beautiful hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the city. The amenities were top-notch, from the luxurious spa to the delicious on-site restaurant. The location was also perfect, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of attractions within walking distance. I can't recommend this hotel enough and can't wait to return for another amazing stay.

We spent the day at the pool (as day guests) which is a great option to get some summer pool vibes in Addis. The pool bar seemed to be very busy (as we waited for 1+ hour for our food), but the atmosphere was great!

Very bad services but they are good just say sorry sir without action. And also we got dinner at italian restaurant in the hotel then 2 of us ate same dishes had abdominal problems . We informed to GM to hotel and expecting to organize doctor and also solving problem. He just said unusual situation and never happened Without taking care of customers . We immediately checked out and never come again

Visited the hotel for a conference. The conference facilities are adequate—and the food served buffet-style in the restaurant is good. Only odd thing is that the hotel security would not let our conference group—despite renting a conference room for ~50 guest for entire week—take a group photo on the hotel grounds. Wild. Probably a policy for the hotel to reconsider.

Our stay exceeded by far our expectations! The room was very spacious, and the amenities & facilities were great - exactly what you'd expect from a Sheraton. But I think what really made a difference was the staff - everyone was very professional, helpful, and lovely with our one-year old :) Special compliments to those by the elevators, those at the concierge desk and those in the breakfast area - who made our stay super memorable and one we will always cherish. Would 100% recommend for anyone travelling to Addis, whether it is for work or leisure. I found the hotel's taxis particularly helpful to get around safely; and don't hesitate to ask the concierge for recommendations, they always have good places in mind :) Thank you!

All The food taste great my favorite is the seafood,the curry sauce with rice and the potatoes and pasta these are the food that bang a lot if you don’t trust me try every single one for yourself the. The dessert taste really good but a little too savory big adult will like it but i would like it to taste a little more sweet. I will give it a 9 out of 10, just because of the dessert.food and dessert are amazing though

The Hotel is very Beautiful and has great ambience right from the entrance. You can find a few stuff who understand proper English which is unlikely for most hotels in the city! I enjoyed watching the World Cup at their Bar. Good service and the staff is very welcoming!

Great as expected to be. It was my second time visiting and my family and I have enjoyed the environment. Food was amazing, customer service was above the standards, and the green area is something else. There was a wedding going on which was fun to watch people getting pictures and videos. Sheraton Addis has been maintained very well!

It hit me with a bang maybe because I was not expecting much, was tired and just looking forward to supper and a bed. But on sighting the entrance, and then the lobby, I sure became alert. Very beautiful place. More impressive to me was the obvious effort being put in to maintain the place well (notwithstanding one of the lifts not working at the time). The service from the staff was of high standard too. The buffets —for supper and for breakfast— show the top quality of their kitchens. The rooms... wow! Words cannot properly bring them to life. Great and, most importantly, very clean. One can set the thermostat to ones preferred temperature. The wooden floors complete the wonderful ensemble. Did I mention the dependably fast WiFi? Just go there if you need a hotel ... it'll be difficult to do better elsewhere.

Quite amazing swimming pool. Warm waters. quite cheap for the standard of the hotel. It costs 400 birr for adults and 300 for children. Children under two years enjoys free swimming.

My family and I just spent 6 weeks at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis. We've been there several times but this was the longest stay yet. Besides the fact that the hotel is beautiful and the nicest in town... The team here is what makes the experience great. Nebiyu the reception manager assisted me with my needs for my reservation a month prior to my arrival as well as throughout our stay constantly checking on us and assisting with little things we needed. As a business owner I realize how difficult it is to create a great culture like the one the employees share at the Sheraton... This trip I had the opportunity to meet Antony, the general manager of the hotel and now I realize this culture starts at the top. Great guy who leads by example and sets the standard for his team. Lastly, besides the amazing team at Sheraton I'm going to miss the fresh squeezed variety of juices they have every morning for breakfast! Thanks for a great trip guys!

I checked in online and they took an hour to give me a key. We ordered room service, fries and salad and it showed up after 90 minutes. The room is hot, I have to run the ac for 24 hours to cool it down. Overall all I don't expect low customer service from lexury collection hotel

I’ve been here many times over the last years, it feels like the odd one out compared to all other locations in Addis. It could easily declare independence :-) Great place to visit, have coffee, a stunning lunch, to relax and to have business meetings in.

Just checked out with 5 star satisfaction. Sheraton Addis is the real luxury collection in Africa. There is nothing I can complain about.

Rooms and interior feel quite dated, not luxury. They really need to renovate. They need new carpeting, smart TVs, updated furniture, etc. It's not "classic" it's just old. Pool was under maintenance for the week I was there. It looks nice enough, but no way to know. Gym was really underwhelming and also required walking outside around the hotel grounds to get there. Odd and inconvenient that it's not in the main building. It's covered but outside...so if it's raining, you get wet going there; if it's cold outside, the gym is cold; hot outside, gym is hot. Food options were ok but not great. Indian restaurant there was good. It would be nice if there were a little mini market on site to buy something like chips, a sandwich, etc. Room service is limited in options and there isn't anything walking distance. Most rooms don't have a nice view. Seems like half the rooms look at a parking lot or a construction site. Executive lounge service is very nice, but food and alcohol options aren't great. Service was very nice throughout. If security is a concern, this is probably better than many other options in the city as there is better security and good standoff from other buildings, roads, etc. Power outages were a thing but seemed to be better than other areas of the city. Not really their fault on this.

Amazing and luxurious hotel. The best in Addis Ababa. Great facilties, and variety of bars and restaurants. Additionally the customer service is the best to be found. Staff are so helpful and welcoming. The gym is also good but could do with some more equipment. But the hotel and the grounds and the location next to Friendship park provides a location with lots of space and greenery in the centre of Addis Ababa

We had an amazing time at the Office Bar. The live music band and the selected singers are amazing. Great service with fair price, considering the standard of the place. Better to improve the quality and taste of the foods at the bar. The staffs are so friendly and well trained.

This is my absolute favorite hotel in Africa. The hotel is situated near all of Addis Ababa's main attractions. The hotel is spacious and well kept, but the real gem is the staff. They alone would give the hotel 5 ⭐️'s.

The lobby and public areas are luxurious and well maintained. However, our room was showing wear and are not up to Sheraton/Marriott international standards. We also had an issue with requesting a porter to pick up our luggage at 6:50am for our 7:00am shuttle. The porter arrived at 12:50am and rang our doorbell twice. I never got back to sleep and lost a night's sleep over the error. Ethiopia calculates time differently and 6:50 is 12:50am. But I clearly specified am. The porter and the night manager both apologized in the morning for the error, which was good on their part to acknowledge the error and apologize.

My experience and rating does only cover my experience in the Stanley's Bar next to the pool and Summerfields restaurant. I wanted to enjoy a cocktail with my wife and was not granted access to the outside area of the bar because of my child. We were the only guest but apparently a rule is a rule. They told we can drink something in Summerfields. There again an incompetent person was in charge and did not not now of any policy allowing to only have a drink. I am very surprised for a hotel of this price range that they have unfriendly and unprofessional waiters and that they don’t do more to be attractive to come. Young and old!

This 5-star hotel is magnificent and serene! I love the vast acres of well manicured landscape! The vibrant colourful plants in the garden are therapeutic! Great location, safe and very secured! Has a variety of good restaurants and a simple spa. I enjoy the Italian Stagioni. Gym has just basic equipment… as a luxury collection I expect a much wider variety and modern equipment. We also had drinks at the office. DJ and vibe was great! The amenities in the room are as expected of such 5 star hotel. Staff are polite, attentive and very helpful. Enjoy led the check in experience assisted by Manlet and Daniel.

I stayed this hotel yesterday, but their employees are lack of experience, especially the night manager whose name is Biniam Nigusse the way he explain things is extremely harsh. my wife presented the ID card, and also I been requested to present my id I showed them on my mobile my passport, driving Licence and other details, even I requested them to send them by email but their system is not working. Lastly I go to my car at mid night and bring my I’d. The management is so traditional.

This is one of my all time place to come to meet with people and listen to live music. I come every time where the employee already what I drink and what my limits are and I don't have to say anything. But for new comers you will feel like that your at home. The employee and management are very welcoming and very humble to serve or just to talk to as well.

Safe and clean. The rooms need some refurbishing work to compete with the newer hotels in Addis. Staff very friendly. I particularly found the executive lounge staff led by Wondwesen very professional. Good restaurants and a vibrant bar with live music. Nice pool, open air Gym, and a great resort like setting.

I had a severe painful food poisoning after eating at Sheraton hotel 2 days ago. I ate in so many places in Addis with no problems at all until I ate in Sheraton. Sheraton hotel’s kitchen in my experience has been the worst kitchen all over Addis. Don’t be fooled by the five stars; the hotel’s food lacks basic level of hygiene. I’ll never recommend Sheraton hotel to anyone. I give it one star because minus stars aren’t possible.

I was on vacation with my American husband for like 13 days in Sheraton. I was so ashamed on this so called 5 star hotel customer service , they are RUDE for everything FEMALES server from Lobby to room service , receptionist. LOUD , No Smile at all . The lobby Servers they keep coming with out a menu and ask like what do you want ??? I keep asking can you please bring me a menu !!! Plus if you speak Amharic forget it no one gonne talk to you they will ignore you . Or no smile looking like what do you need wow .. after We stayed for like 13 days they called me for check out by yelling at me just right now , I was sleep couse I had a bad headache , I was like can I extended it for one day couse don’t feel like packing , the receptionist like she changed her tone to English language and yelling at me to check in ASAP . Date Jan 10/22 1pm. . She was so RUDE. Any how the males are mostly nice . Servers lobby all rude bad customer service . P.s Ethiopian they don’t gives us attention so. I don’t advice or recommend. It’s my disappointing , will never book it advice Sheraton Addis . The only good thing is hotel and location. Customer service 0/5 . Thank you .

Really beautiful elegant and spacious place. Went there for a visit and had a great time visiting and exploring the place and even though i was there for work purposes taking a walk along the paths made through the pool place and the interiour is very nice. Wifi is very fast parking place is big and there is space for many cars. And also the workers are amazing humble and great to talk to. Will be visiting and maybe even staying there for a few days.

Nice hotel and property to stay in Addis with a good option of restaurants serving Italian , Indian and a multi-cuisine buffet. Had visited for a dinner at their Indian restaurant Shaheen the menu has variety of cuisine from various parts of India

Sundays brunch are a destination when you are in Addis, later patrons get complimentary sangrias at the Office a semi outdoor space with a DJ playing nice music, great place to finish the weekend

I enjoyed my five days stay at this hotel. Spacious rooms, clean, a safe to store your valuables. Three restaurants available on site, an ATM machine and bank are also available for convenience on money issues. I would highly recommend it.

My family and I had a nice time. The service was great! We would recommend this hotel for all visitors to Addis Ababa. It was very clean, and my family enjoyed the amenities. The staff was very courteous and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I would like to mention someone who went above and beyond in service. His name is Zelalem at the front desk. I was hurt in bathtub after taking a shower. The height of the bathtub is at least 24 " . There was no anti-slip decals in bathtub. This is a safety hazard. I slipped and hit my eye and head. I asked for medical attention because my eye and mouth was bleeding. I was refused attention and the manager refused to discuss what happened to me. I find this hotel to be highly unprofessional and apathetic.

Everyone in the hotel is super nice and helpful, the hotel is classy with 11 bars and restaurants, I was impressed right away. However, it's also dated, some rooms have problems with hot water, some have problem with AC. Food is not it's strength. Rooms looking out the pool and city are nice, but music from the bar is loud and doesn't stop at 11pm as they said, so choose between view or good night sleep. Really like the staff and the garden though, if we are to return next time, will ask for room with working hot water and away from the Office Bar (which is a great bar itself).
