WOW!!! This lodge is spectacular. It truly has to be one of the best views in the world. I had a perfect few days here relaxing on the sun terrace & stuffing my self with amazing food. ROOMS Each rooms is its own little mini villa that has been built in an environmentally friendly way with local materials. The room was furnished with super high quality materials from the natural wood to the blankets it was super cozy. The views are what make these rooms waking up to a panoramic view of these spectacular mountains is awesome. It does get a little chilly in the evening but they have amazing heaters on hand. COMMON AREAS When you are not hiking around these vast mountains the main area you will spend your days will be on the spectacular sun terrace that has vistas of the surrounding mountains & valley. I sat here most of the day reading a book with a break for lunch a 3 course meal & a glass of rose from the Ethiopian rift valley all included in the price of course. They also have a cozy restaurant & bar with log fire to chat the night away. SERVICES The lodge is fully inclusive, meals & drinks are completely at anytime of the day. Breakfast, lunch & dinner are all made with high quality ingredients that are fusion food from local meals to pasta all my meals were delicious. The staff here are super friendly especially one of the owners Melese. He is the perfect host, honest with amazing English. While the other staff have limited English due to the fact they are employing local which I believe is a great idea. they are friendly & will always help when need. LOCATION Quite possibly one of the best locations in the world. The lodge is inside the national park location on the edge of one of the highest points in the area this gives it some of the most spectacular views seems on planet earth.

Lovely place to stay! The whole team is doing a great job to make the stay for everybody just perfect! Amazing views to the mountains, it is just quiet the whole night - you hear nothing than birds. Beside, unlike other lodges, it is bot absolutely in the middle of nowhere. You can easily get there with kids and you do not need to drive for hours on cravern roads. In total the really best lodge I've seen in Ethiopia- and definititely worth the price! Owner Julia and her team are doing a wonderful job, making the time there for every guest unforgettable

Simply perfect. It's hard to find the words to describe just how great this place is. You'll find yourself in a serene setting unlike anything you can imagine. From the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, the exceptional food, to** the luxurious comfort of the rooms and finally the lounge area/terrace that you'll never want to leave- it'll definitely be a place I visit again- for a longer stay I hope!

Tranquility in the sky. The views were spectacular. The hiking was mind expanding. The sounds of nature clear and crisp. The staff were like family. The rooms were an absolute delight. The nightly fires were of perfect warmth. I've never seen the stars so crisp or experienced a sunrise so chillingly inspiring. Limalimo Lodge was a dream come true. To all those to visit. Enjoy

Hotel and view PERFECT! BUT staff awful, Awful tension felt on arrival. Staff did not trust we had a booking - we were young - Nobody seemed to be happy to be there...Really unprofessional when the rooms are almost 500USD. The room was very cold. There were no heaters. We had to take showers and be in bed to stay warm. No convenient plugs. No night tables. Very limited choice of food. Really under standards for this price.

-The lodge is located with a stunning view of the park. It has several options for short hikes of various difficulty levels, which depart from the lodge itself. Our guide found a troop of the monkeys five minutes into a hike from the lodge. There is a main dining room, terrace, and game room with a bar. - Rooms are clean and minimalistic. They offer great views and blend in organically with the environment. Incredibly, we had a variety of monkeys swinging outside our room each morning! That being said, they're not built too soundly so you'll find bugs. Also, they get freezing in the winter and the bathroom floors are concrete, so pack warm clothing. The lodge offers hot water bottles for your bed at night, so definitely take them up on the offer. Hot water for showers is dependent on sunlight as they are solar powered. - The meals provided are hearty, warm, and comfort food. Sample meals we had were potato pasta with ratatouille, beef goulash, and avocado toast. Probably for sanitation reasons, there were no salads or uncooked vegetables. - Bring ample snacks for hiking and for downtime as the lodge only offers cookies and cakes as a snack. They're yummy, but frankly this becomes redundant and not the healthiest option quite quickly. - The price is as steep as the cliffs you see out from their terrace. This lodge charges a rate that is very, very expensive for Ethiopia's current tourism scene. For such a high price, we certainly expected basics like working wifi and proper toiletries in the bathroom.
