Hmm,
Caribbean
in
Ethiopia.
That
was
an
odd
just
thinking
about
it,
but
Africa
never
ceases
to
amaze
me
and
Shifta
restaurant
is
one
of
those
rare
gems,
our
should
I
say
pirates
treasure.
What
started
off
as
a
beer
run
ended
with
a
evening
of
memories.
Flashback
-
the
Curry
masala
chicken
took
me
back
to
my
hometown,
Durban
-
South
Africa
style
of
cooking.
A
little
mild
for
my
taste
bufs,
but
the
food
was
still
full
of
flavor
and
I
enjoyed
every
bit
of
it.
The
restaurant
is
tucked
away
and
can
be
easily
missed
but
quite
easy
to
find.
The
decor
is
bright
and
vibrant
and
carries
the
reggae
theme
throughout
out.
After
being
in
Ethiopia
for
a
while
I
come
to
realise
that
all
Ethiopian
music
has
the
same
sound
to
it
so
it
was
good
to
hear
some
reggae
beats.
Sorry
guys.
The
place
is
funky
and
fun
and
was
quiet
for
a
Tuesday
night,
but
we
were
there
for
the
food
and
habasha(local
brand
beer).
The
staff
are
quiet
friendly
and
I
went
on
their
recommendation
to
try
my
meal.
Good
choice
guys.
A
fantastic
experience
but
I
would
love
to
go
back
when
life
returns
to
normal.
If
you
in
Ethiopia
and
want
some
Caribbean
flavours,
Shifta
is
the
place
to
be.
