The location is perfect. The park is so refreshing. Entrance fee is fair. It would be better if some more cafes and restaurants begin working there. The admins must plan package fee for regular running and jogging people. Would also be better if there is a clothing and showering rooms after workouts.

Great place .. Not hard to find, as a foreigner I booked a ride and it took me directly there. The entrance fee costs less than 200ETB. It would be great if they had more light at night for the water exhibition .

I enjoyed walking around the park, it's so green and full of beautiful flowers. I admire the thought of planting the metal gym equipments for a simple workouts, it's really nice for the young generations finding a place to hangout and workout at the same time. 110 birr per person for the locals and foreigners too, it is so cheap compared to the service giving inside the compound. Now this is my new spot, I have heard there is an open air cinema and live music band every weekend, late after 5pm, so coming back soon!!!!

A must visit park in Addis! It is an amazing park nicely located at the center of Addis Ababa. It is also located near key landmarks -- the National Palace on one side and Sharaton Hotel on the other. Its close proximity with Unity Park makes planning to visit the two places very convenient. Entrance fee is 110 ETB for adults, and children under 12 years pay half. If you plan to take camera with you, it costs 1000 ETB per person (not per camera!) -- that is why I reduced one star.

It was more than I expected. It was so big and has one of the most beautiful views in Addis. The price for entrance was 110 Birr per person. It has plenty of parking areas. They require not to have a camera(cellphones are allowed) and no cycles too(which I didn't get why). I think there might be extra payments for camera and special ceremonies. We had a blast with my friends😜😄😆. You can also find restaurants and bathrooms for your needs.

It is great to see such a beautiful playground for the kids at the center of the city. There are several alternatives and the compound is neat and clean. The children's room where the kids take a break after the play is a great addition to the facility. The cafeteria serves freshly made fruit juices and other fast foods and desserts. I belive the 100etb entrance fee is reasonable given the current inflation in the country, but the fact that there is no pickup and drop-off at the main entrance is something to be noted.

An oasis right in the middle of bustling Addis, a landscape that is beautifully designed, carefully crafted and maintained. The view to the city is spectacular, one of the best I had ever seen. Friendship Square is a great weekend getaway for the whole family. Walking trails, a man-made lake, dancing fountains, kids playground, lush and green, beautiful flowers. It's a must see for anyone living in or visiting Addis. P.S. Plenty of parking space

Friendship Park and overall it was a nice experience. It's a great place to work out, bring your kids, parents and grandparents to relax and have fun. The park is also great for taking pictures including weddings, and it's open till 10PM which is great. The only downside was that the entrance fee was incredibly expensive and the hospitality services were really poor. The food was really bad and overpriced. Overall I would recommend this park if you're looking for some place to hang out in the evening, but be ready to pay for it.

We were so surprised to discover this park in the middle of Addis Ababa. It is stunningly beautiful and well maintained. There are different entrance fees depending on your activities. It is a wonderful place to take wedding photos but you will have to pay the 10,000 Birr fee if you are booking your photoshoot. Professional cameras and any type of refreshments are not permitted in the park but you can bring your own cellphone. There is a lovely restaurant where you can get fresh baked pizza and coffee. An outing to the park is good for the soul.

Friendship Park, officially named Sheger Park Friendship Square, is located in Arat Kilo, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The first time I visited this park, I just lost my word for the bueauty of this place. The great walking path, nicely designed landscape and buildings, varitey of flowers and trees, a breathtaking view of Addis, beautiful seats beside a natural and clean river, the human made lake, the dancing fountains, the restaurants, . Every thing was designed amazingly.

Beautiful city park with music fountain backing up the performance stage which can be used for theatrical events. Different pavilions and great view points. Finding tranquility in the city. Ticket costs 100 ETB can be cheaper tho for those going for restaurants.

Excellent place to go running while visiting Addis, particularly for interval training. There are lots of toilets and places to stop for water and a couple of outdoor gym sections. There's a juice bar, a cafe and a restaurant too. Entrance for adults is 110 birr.

Absolutely beautiful place for breathtaking in the center of Addis Ababa. I am so amused by it's Flora and landscape. The classical music restore soul and water dancing and music are also so fabulous restore mind and body's. I highly recommended for everyone to vist this park I also want to give thanks to our prime minister Doctor Abiy Ahamad for his intuitive for those sheger and other park projects.

Frienship park የወዳጅነት መናፈሻ It has a beautiful scene and it is refreshing for the mind and it has wide area of coverage from Ambassador to 4 kilo on in the middle of the city Addis. Enjoyed the walk. There is also running track for runners. The Resturants and photo studios are also found inside the park. Most wedding photoshoot happen in this park this days after the opening of the park.

A nice place to take a walk and chill with friends and family. Good scenery for taking photos just for fun or professionally. There is a juice house and an ice cream for refreshments and a few shops of local products. It would be great if the restaurants built there could start giving services. Overall it's a good place to visit.

Really nice park, amazing architecture and landscaping. There are still unfinished works like the fishing pond which I'm excited to see in the near future. The artificial lake has water lillies which I think adds a nice touch. Beautiful view from the arc which is an imitation of the hammer women's necklace 👌. I would recommend a lot more options for snacks and refreshments since there were only a couple of them like tutto gelato ice cream parlour and ero-shake juice bar plus a little adjustment on the entrance fee Birr.110.00 per person which sounds a bit high for families

I have visited the Friendship Park yesterday for the first time as a diaspora. I was simply speechless by the beauty of this place. Its beautifuly designed landscape in a great location in the centre of addis. As soon as you walk in to the park, you'll feel like you are somewhere in developed country. I am facinated by the variety of plants, great walking paths, connection to the Sheraton Addis and natural river, etc. Well done to all involved in this project and great respect to our PM for his initiative. Some comments for mprovements: Public access to the park should be maintained for longer hours, at the moment no acces to the park after 2 pm local time. Restaurants and bars inside the park should be able to operate at night to attract more people to the park.

Gorgeous park, very clean and green. You can grab a cup of coffee with. But THE ENTRANCE FEE!!! It is so sad to see parks where you have to pay in order to enjoy the beauty of park. Not many places in Addis that gives you an opportunity to enjoy clean park roads. It is unfair in relation to the locals. What if I want to come every day for a morning walk? Should I pay 100 Birr for each my entering?

It is great place to visit in Addis Ababa. Few things you should know. 1. Entrance is 100 birr for Ethiopians 2. There is additional charge if you bring camera [its ok for phone cameras] 3. It is one of the best places to have a calm and refreshing time alone or with your significant other. A very relaxing lake view, beautiful greenery and flowers, amazing walking trails. The restaurants are also amazing with affordable price.

We enjoy going to Friendship Park. We go regularly for walking, even if it is busy it does not feel crowded. We've also eaten at the Grand Restaurant a number of times for lunch and the food is quite good. There is an entry fee of 110ETB per person and security at the entrance. The children's playground is quite nice, and on Saturdays, they have an iceblock stand that sells fruit iceblocks, which are very nice.

The best place to spend your weekend with friends and family. most restaurants are not fully constructed. juice bar and ice cream places were opened at the time i was there.

Tranquille Park that allows walking, jogging and enjoying a coffee. Small benches allow informal meetings. 2km jogging track with decent elevation gain.

It’s a nice place to walk around in the sun in, if you’re in to that sorta stuff. I personally like it best when it’s cloudy to visit here as there’s little to no shade along the walk way But I wouldn’t be doing right if I didn’t admire the work that was put into it, it’s BEAUTIFUL!

A stunning view from the top , the fountain show was amazing! Note that the park entrance closes at 7:15pm , I advise to go early between 4-5pm if you wants to see the fountain at 7pm. The security at the gates should be more welcoming

I find Friendship Park is clean, lush, and enjoyable for visiting it with walking. The gardens are well taken care of. It has spacious parking for cars. Some of Addis Ababa’s best restaurants serving Western meals have their outlets at the Friendship Park. I have also seen Yod Abyssinia Traditional Restaurant in the park. Best features of the Friendship Park are it allows visitors have great views of Addis Ababa, enjoy relaxed walking in the gardens and it is a nice spot to have wedding photo shots. I couldn’t find the kids play grounds. I advise it make it more accessible (near to the gates). Generally, Friendship Park is nice place to see in Addis Ababa.
