I was often in Addis Ababa for about 20 days of every month. After trying many other hotels I settled on The Vamos Hotel and found that many other people had also made it their first home from home in Addis.

I had such an awesome experience at Vamos. The hotel is very clean and at a very great location in Bole Medhanialem. A minute walk distance from Yod Abisiniya restaurant. The staff are very well trained and very professional. They have a great testing foods. I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel.

Elias….. I stayed at Vamos Hotel for 2 1/2 months and I’m grateful for the time I spend there . The hotel is in a great location. Less than 5 minutes from the Airport. No need for transportation unless of course you going accros town , It’s located conveniently near malls, restaurants, supermarkets .night clubs ,etc. Vamos , is next to Yod Abyssinia, about the best ,attractive and traditional restaurant that includes cultural entertainment , cultural music ,and dance . Employees : Vamos Hotel staff starting from the top (administration )has well trained and friendly employees , kind ,humble ,helpful,and always ready to offer their assistance. Amenities: The hotel is Equipped with fast and reliable Wi-fi, cable TV that has plenty movie channels including the Super-sport channel for all sports and football enthusiasts,also has two of each steam and sauna including a Gym, equipped with enough of treadmills,bicycles ,and weightlifting equipment ,Shower,and scales in the gym and in every room to monitor you weight . Restaurant: The complimentary breakfast is available during breakfast time, and can be ordered to your room ,or dine at the restaurant where it’s clean and spotless… (Large variety of western or domestic dishes to choose from) Dinner also made to your request and available until late hours . Housekeeping: All Rooms unexceptionally get special attention..beds get made every day with clean bedding ,floors get swiped, mopped ,and vacuumed thoroughly with the only 2 exceptions that the carpet needs to be removed and properly replaced with the existing tiles ,and a smoking rooms should be designated to smokers in certain floors while others stay completely free of smoking .A NO SMOKING SIGHN SHOULD BE POSTED However Housekeeping always do a wonderful job , rooms are extremely clean regardless . Administration: Abraham the Gm. Always eager to assist with all needs.very humble,courteous extremely hospitable and ready to go the extra mile to assist his Patrons . Recommendation: witnessed : (First hand experience ) I highly recommend (Vamos Hotel) to those planing to visit Addis Ababa regardless the cause of visit whether it’s business or leisure etc. Thank you Everyone involved in making my stay pleasurable : I like to start with the front desk (reception), administration, special thanks to the Chefs that really took such good extra care and time to prepare enjoyable meal , I also like to thank housekeeping that always work so hard to keep Guests happy . If his persuasive manner, humbleness, and ability to make me feel home was inadequate I think I could have had a second thoughts…… Abraham,always, cordial reception of guests . This hotel is the best I have ever seen because it is clean and quiet location, new bed, the shower is perfect, the rooms are attractive and good looking for staying in and although affordable prices, close to airport, and many restaurants close by. The hotel manager Abraham is a good person and friendly. All employees unbelievable service to all their customers. They've an airport shuttle to and from. "Sweet Home" Vamos Addis Hotel for all. Very nice hotel. The quiet and the service is amazing.

There was no shampoo or toilet paper and the room was dirty. noisy. Can this be called a hotel? The reception and cleaning staff are all incompetent. I really don't understand why the rates are so high.

Very clean, fresh and newly built property. Close to airport and has got many restaurants nearby. Good & quiet place for business travelers like me. Will surely visit again and highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vamos Addis Hotel for more than two months and it was a memorable experience. Every time I come to AA the ONLY place that I sayed!! Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center of AA. The rooms and every where the hotel is extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff and the amazing manager Name called Aberham who makes my trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the beautiful city of AA. The hotel is close to supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars,clubs, churches are within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who likes to visit AA!!! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. From the security to housekeeping and laundry people are extremely amazing. Thank you makdiey from the kitchen who good takingcare of me while i was sick with flue. The reception getu, beze and the one i did not mention thank you from the bottom my heart for making my stay extremely memorable. I can't wait for my next trip to come and see ya all!!

Great experience at this hotel. We had to amend our stay and cancel 2 out of the 4 nights we’d booked. The hotel staff and manager were amazing at communicating and understanding and provided us with a full refund of the remaining two nights. The hotel itself was clean, organised and has everything we need. Would recommend for a stay if you need a quick stopover in Addis as it’s super close to the airport. JP + Laura

Clean room with comfy bed and quiet neighborhood. Location is best. All employees including the manager are very pleasant. Communication and service was excellent. The staff was able to accommodate all our requests. I will look forward to stay in when I get back in the future.

Highly recommended Having stayed at Vamos Hotel for more than three months I have got plenty to say… starting from the manager, Abrish who goes above and beyond for everything I needed…indeed he is the best.. Getch, Tesfu, Mekdi, Beza, Mistir, Selam, Tsehay… well i wish I could name all of you but everyone from the manager to the cleaning staff have made my stay quite memorable and I wanna appreciate you all . Rooms are clean, quite, located in safe neighborhood and close to airport, restaurants , shopping malls and etc.. I will definitely get back to this Hotel next time and recommend this place for anyone traveling to Addis Abeba.
