    I have been training with OTS for the past 9 months and it has been an incredible journey. My trainer Alan is intentional and a master at what he does. Since we've started, I've seen my strength transform to new heights. My goal was always to get stronger and Alan has dedicatedly helped me feel this way. He's patient and supportive of my needs and knows exactly how to adjust the workouts to my goals. I am so grateful to have this gym and Alan as my trainer in such a convenient location for me. The team overall there is great as well. They have been flexible to my needs at all times and so lovely to interact with over my time there. Really lucky to have this gym close to me!

    I am very happy about starting my fitness journey here. I met the owner one time outside and briefly chatted and was impressed that he did not try and convince me to try and workout there. I tried a consultation and again was pleasantly surprised that they just spoke facts, discussed options without trying to sell which is what I am used to from previous gyms and trainers. Their consult included talking about mind and mental health and how things were in my personal life. I found this to be the first time a fitness place had asked this but thought it was great since like the owner said, they need to know what things can affect my mood and progress when I come in for a session . I found his review of my posture, gait alone to be very thorough- comparable to when I’ve seen my physiotherapist. Again it didn’t feel like a cookie cutter consultation I’ve been to before at other places. I chose to sign up and am so glad I did. I have some health problems including a shoulder injury. I have not felt comfortable doing any shoulder exercises for over two years except with my physiotherapist; and even my previous personal trainer (at a diff gym) just worked on stretches at that muscle group. Here I have been regularly doing full body routines which included shoulders. I was nervous at first but I am shocked that I have been able to do them without any pain the next day (normally I have to take time off work due to how bad it feels next day). I like that the trainers here push me but in a knowledgeable gentle way. I worked with Alan and he was so professional, helpful and I can see why he is so popular here. I also respect that anytime I’ve spoken about bumping up to more days of personal training- they have said to stick to two for now based on my health conditions. Most places would be thrilled to get more money and sessions from a client- but this place is taking my health into consideration first. The facility is clean, organized, and they limit how many people can come in to workout so often it’s just you and one other client training in your individual personal sessions. For those of you who are like me and new to this or nervous, have some Iimitations,—- I recommend trying this out. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other places so you have nothing to lose.

    The facility is clean, fairly modern and pretty flexible for a small space. The staff run a pretty tight ship so there’s never more people than there should be training at any one time. Everyone is fairly flexible and the prices are fair. Great experience and highly recommended as both a regular place to exercise and a place for group/personal training.

    Signing up at OTS has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I am fairly new to the world of strength training and they made feel valued as a client from the very first comunication I had with the team. Daniel, the owner, fosters an environment of warmth, empathy and positive energy, which made feel so comfortable when I first started to work out at the gym. My PT, Marysabelle has been incredibly dedicated to help me achieve my fitness goals. She is fun, warm, and got on my corner right away with genuine enthusiasm. I'm still in awe of what we've accomplished together these past months. I will definitely be coming back for group sessions in the future.

    I’m so glad I signed up for a personal training program at onlythestrong. Jonte is an amazing personal trainer and it’s evident he puts a lot of effort into planning and executing my workouts so that they are tailored specifically to me and my needs. Jonte has a wealth of knowledge for all things fitness and has really taught me so much. No matter how I feel coming in for a workout, I always leave onlythestrong feeling physically and mentally better.

    I started my personal training journey here nearly two months ago and the strength, flexibility and balance transformation I’ve already seen is amazing. Alan has been such an exceptional trainer and guide throughout my morning sessions. He is patient but he also truly understands my physical abilities and capabilities and is able to push/encourage me accordingly. I’ve never had workouts that are so targeted to the areas that are important to my long-term goals. Overall, 12/10 experience!! Thank you, Alan!

    Signed up for OST 6 months ago, I am pleased to see the transformational results to my body. Alan was instrumental to tailor workout routines and training sessions thats just right for me at different stages of my physique through out the program. Every session with Alan was fun and challenging at the same time, he was very thorough at spotting and correcting my forms and movements, so that I can avoid injury and gain muscle optimally. Strongly recommend for folks who wants to jump starts into weight training.

    I've had multiple personal trainers over the years, and Daniel has been one of the most knowledgeable trainers I've had the pleasure to meet. He listened to my goals and made sure our time together worked directly towards those goals. My goal was to learn Olympic weightlifting (snatch, clean and jerk). He educated me on body mechanics and how to progress complex movements. Although I am a beginner doing Oly, I reached PRs on both lifts during my sessions with him due to the confidence I built. I did the wellness program and it's worth its price - having the weekly stretch therapy is a nice way to help restore your body too. The program is 10x better than personal training a commerical gym like GoodLife would give you. You can be guaranteed knowledgeable and certified experienced trainers at OTS. Its a very friendly atmosphere, very clean and well equipped studio. Every team member I met greeted me with a warm welcome. It's a small personal training gym, so if you are worried about COVID and a busy gym, you don't need to worry here! Even had a 15kg barbell purchased just for my sessions so I can properly grip the bar learning how to snatch (thanks Daniel!). It is hard to find a weightlifting coach/trainer in the area and we are lucky to have Daniel in our neighborhood. I'll be coming back for more sessions! 😀

    Marysabelle is my Personal Trainer and I have had over 10 sessions with her so far. She has been consistently excellent (as in AAA+++). Besides it being very apparent that she's highly qualified for her role as a Personal Trainer, Marysabelle draws on her experience, studies as a physician and a keen bent toward mental and physical therapy to strategize to get me to my goals and beyond. Each time I come in Marysabelle has her detailed daily notes with varied routines ready. Frankly I've had trainers before and I haven't seen tactic and strategy applied as I have with Marysabelle. Besides this structure, Marysabelle pushes me each time to achieve results. She keeps me interested and motivated and I'm (nicely) exhausted after each session! Marysabelle had a detailed nutrition plan and lifestyle tips tailored to me as she has used a 360 degree approach to attain my goals. She has helped me break boundaries, challenged me to be better and thus given me more than just great physical results. I didn't cook, but I'm cooking now and loving it, thanks to Marysabelle! I'm absolutely thrilled with the physical results so far which is the ultimate proof that what Marysabelle does, works. Unreservedly a great experience.

    I had the pleasure of training at OTS when preparing for a fitness test for pre-employment testing in first response, and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the experience. Although my situation was unique, I had a relevant and effective plan made for me in pursuing my goals. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly supportive throughout my time here. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued as a client. The studio was clean, well-equipped, and had a positive energy that immediately put me at ease. Daniel took the time to understand my fitness goals, assess my current fitness level, and design a customized program that was tailored to my specific needs. What I loved most about the personal training studio was the personalized attention that I received during every session.Daniel was highly attentive, always correcting my form and technique, and pushing me to go beyond my limits. Daniel was also great at keeping me motivated and on track, providing constant encouragement and support to help me achieve my fitness goal, which was accomplished. Tatiana is highly knowledgeable and gives excellent adjustment and rehab services, especially after a good training session. She helped me develop an exercise/stretch routine to target problematic areas and avoid injury. The studio also had a great sense of community. The trainers and other clients were friendly and welcoming, creating a supportive and encouraging environment that made me feel like I was part of a family. This sense of community made every session a fun and enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend this studio enough!

    Been working out with Timea for 3 months now and it has been AWESOME. Absolute killer workouts, but what’s more is that she listens and adapts. She’s great for people of all skill levels - but if you have specific goals she will definitely help you reach them. If you have injuries or any underlying issues, she works with you and is so accommodating. 10/10 recommend.

    Whether you're a new trainer in the fitness industry or a trainer wanting to take that next step in your professional career, I highly recommend the OTS Exercise Specialist course with Daniel. This course gives you the theoretical knowledge and practical tools to be successful. We spent time applying the information through partner exercises, and got direct feedback from Daniel. I left the course feeling more confident in my capabilities, and look forward to developing my skills as a coach.

    Not only are these trainers unprofessional, they also published my personal information in response to my original review, because they didn't like what i had to say. Untrustworthy. Stay away. If you publish my info again I will have to take legal action. This appears to be the strategy for removing negative reviews, so that's why their reviews are so high. They don't actually know what they are doing. UPDATE: the voicemail they are referring to and calling harassment was a warning that I will take legal action if my info is published again. Never had I threatened or harassed anyone. They just don't like accurate negative reviews.

    Amazing experience! I went for two months and worked with Daniel and Ashley. They were professional and very helpful. I had a very specific goal of fitting into my wedding dress after a year of working online. My goal was definitely met! I also had a goal of doing 1 chin up and I finished being able to do 3. Ashley had amazing energy and I always left smiling after a workout. Highly recommended and would love to eventually go back!

    Working with Ashley, Daniel & the OTS team has been a breath of fresh air! Finally, personal training that is actually personalized… Ashley is an amazing trainer who has helped me build strength, power and even my first few pull-ups in this last month of training with her. She has made sure my program meets my needs and evolves with me! Each week I am levelling up and building a stronger and more energetic body! Not to mention, working out with her is so fun and something I look very forward to! The workouts she’s designed offer both a physical and mental challenge! I highly recommend them, you will be in very good hands here! Cheers!

    It's October 2021. I have been working out for a few months with Ashley M., a personal trainer at OTS Etobicoke. I am very happy with my training so far. Scheduling sessions is easy, the introduction session with Daniel (General Manager) was informative. Plus, he's very funny and warm. There is no undue sales pressure like other gyms. I love working out with my trainer and feel that she really cares about helping me achieve my fitness goals. I've done a lot of unique, challenging and fun workouts despite there not being a lot of equipment. They always feel tailored to me and progress in a way that I don't get injured. The team at OTS makes great use of the space. We always incorporate stretching before and after workouts. This was important to me. I will keep coming back until I reach my goals in 2022. Thanks OTS!

    I did a lot of research on PT's due to a knee injury I had. I met with Daniel and the initial consultation was extensive - he assigned a trainer that met my needs. I have worked with a few PT's in the past so have a point of comparison. The experience I have had to date has far exceeded my expectations. My knee pain is no more - Alex helped strengthen my knee muscles and build strength at the same time. They are extremely knowledgeable and not just trying to sell you a package. I am able to once again do push ups (not on my knees) and do deadlifts again. They have a great starter pack too, so you can experience their services. I just renewed my membership!

This was a great way to get to know the OTS community and ease my way into personal training sessions. Alan has been an amazing support as a trainer, planning great workouts both for small group training classes and 1-on-1 sessions, as well as providing postive energy that trickles down to fellow trainees in the small group classes.
