Foods are good and tasty. We ordered medium but it was too spicy. It was nice that they change it and prepared mild for us. Food portions are good and make you full. Calm and lovely place and comfortable booth.

Amazing Thai food to be found here. Never dissatisfied. Service is quick, typically. Crispy basil garden is my favorite dish. Would recommend.

The lemongrass chicken curry dish on the special menu is outstanding!!! This delectable dish screams fresh with an explosion or colorful veggies and flavors. The Rad Na with crispy egg noodle option is mild in flavor and satisfying like a comfort food. The crunchy noodles dunked in the soothing sauce is delish! The Ta Ra Rin sampler has options for everyone- from fried tofu cubes to wonton triangles with chicken in them. Salad rolls are fresh. The mango with sticky rice is superb, with a generous portion of fruit that is the perfect amount of ripe. My picky eater downed the coconut ice cream. Had to come back for seconds this week already!

Ta Ra Rin is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in the Eugene area and Oregon for that matter! They have three locations (two in Eugene and one in Springfield)and consistently put out tasty dishes. Presentation is spot on and many dishes gave beautiful garnishes. I recommend the Pumpkin curry with beef or Pad see ew with tofu. With that said they have a good rotation of specials that are always worth a try. If you’re a fan of heat ask for a tray of spices they serve hot sauce, oil, and flakes.

I truly don't know where to start but..the food is absolutely AMAZING!! I'm visiting Eugene for the first time and so happy my friend suggested this place as I was totally blown away. The Lemongrass chicken wings are literally to die for! We ordered 3 orders the first night we went. Then we had the Duck curry and Lava Fish and I truly knew I'd gone to heaven! No surprise that I wanted to go back to Ta Ra Rin and ended up getting the Lava Catfish again, it was so good! I also tried the black sticky rice with coconut ice cream and was OF COURSE not disappointed! Whew! I want to go again just thinking about the food haha The portions are huge and our server was so helpful and FUNNY! We had her both times we visited. It was destined :) Would DEFINITELY come back..probably going back tomorrow before I head back home to Arkansas! THANK YOU!!

Have been to 46 states in US and went to more than 20 “top Thai food” in US. I have to say, Ta Ra Rin is the best taste I ever had. So delicious!

The Tom Kha soup was good and had lots of veggies in it and the Pad Kee Mow had a lot of great ginger spice as well. I ordered both spicy hot and they cleared out my sinuses as a bonus.

Despite it being a very busy night, our drinks and food came promptly and were delicious. Everything was beautifully seasoned and we savored every bite. The cocktails were fun and on-theme.

Their recipes are fantastic. The Tom Kha soup is my favorite to try in almost every Thai restaurant. And this one rocks. Great atmosphere for gatherings and excellent service.

Friendly waitstaff and good atmosphere but I was pretty dissatisfied with the salmon Panang curry. Had hardly any flavor, for the chef special I had higher expectations. Haven’t tried any other dishes but based off this I will not be back.

The quality of the food, the reasonable prices and the young people running that place makes it special. Everything is fresh and enjoyed the lemongrass chicken and salad but then just seeing the kindness and positive attitude of our youth…man, I hope everyone tips 30% there!

Outstanding restaurant. Great staff, excellent food, nicely decorated and furnished, top notch ambiance, and appropriate low-key music. Can't really ask for more.

Pretty prompt service considering pandemic and lack of service staff at most establishments. Stopped by to support some more local businesses and to address my affinity to Thai food. Everything was flavorful and I was happy with each dish. Pleasantly surprised with the choices on their specials this evening.

Service was great- speedy & attentive. Ordered wontons/spring rolls and came out hot and quickly. I had the Red curry with tofu and my date had the Pad Thai. Both dishes were delicious and neither of us could finish and had to take home leftovers.

We LOVE Thai food. I also LOVE to cook it, so I'm pretty critical. This place is DELICIOUS. The other great part, it was affordable, and the serving sizes were also great. Ordered the fresh spring rolls, which were tasty. The Yellow Curry and the Pad See Ew were absolutely amazing. Noodles were cooked to PERFECTION. That doesn't happen at every Thai place, trust me. We'll absolutely be back!

This place is very improved from several years ago. We were able to find a quiet table in the back near the back exit. This was perfect as it was rather crowded and loud and my friend had their service animal. The staff were great, friendly and respectful. Food came really quick and was pretty delicious. I had Pad Thai and my friend had the green curry. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection.

Great service, huge selection of Thai Cuisine offerings with a modest wine and cocktail menu. Quality of food was good. Environment is comfortable and appealing to the masses.

We came here as a group of 8 and got a big table at the back. It was surprisingly easy to reserve a table when we called 20 minutes ahead of time. But once seated, things were extremely slow. The appetizers came in time but the main course took super long. The food tasted really good, so it was worth the wait. We ordered chicken satay, fresh summer rolls, chicken wings, pineapple fried rice, red curry, a stir fry just to name a few.

Found this dinner spot and would highly recommend this Thai place in Eugene. The tofu app is pretty tasty, and a great alternative for any vegetarian. Waitresses were very nice. Three flavor fish was amazing. Kids liked their pad see yew dish. Would come back, 100%.

This is by far one of the best Thai places I have visited. Food quality, taste, quantity and presentation was absolutely perfect. Service was very friendly and prompt. Desert was delicious, its a must visit place if u r visiting Eugene.

We showed up later than is polite for lunch service, but our server was awesome. Delivered the food quickly, which was delicious, and she was just so kind and accommodating. The portions are so generous that it will be dinner, too. Highly recommend.

Really great food each time I've been here. The staff are friendly as well. Try some of their specials, like salmon panang curry or avocado curry noodles. Easy to get dairy-free or gluten-free options.

Nice place for a casual meal. But waiting time could be long if there’s a lot of guests here.

Pros -great service -large portions-great for family style -beautiful, clean restaurant -biodegradable straws -have highchairs and lidded cups for kids Cons -chicken and noodles in some of the dishes were blackened and tasted as such Things to know -order your food spicier than you think you should. I ordered mine spicy and there was barely any. Apparently the waitress didn’t think my husband could handle spicy food either because his “spicy” dish was completely mild. Despite a couple small things the food was great and we’ll be looking forward to our next visit!

Food was over priced for what you got and quite frankly did not taste all that hot. It was quite bland. Also when I asked for some Thai noodles extra I got glass noodles and was charged a dollar fifty. I don't mind paying extra but not when I didn't get what I asked for. The only good thing was the service. I won't be back to Ta Ra Run if this is what their food has come too. First time I went every thing was awesome. Not this time for sure!

Usually a great experience otherwise rating would be lower. My husband, toddler and myself arrived at 430 Saturday evening. We were seated right away as it was before dinner rush. Had our drink and appetizer order Taken first. They arrived timely. Our dinner order was taken before 5 and before the restaurant started to get busy. We could see the staff prepping tons of pick up orders and thought ours would be coming soon. However our dinner took 50 minutes to arrive and our server did not check in with us once in that time frame. By that time sitting for over an hour, our toddler had enough. We had to quickly pack our food to go (once it came) and pay. When we got home and got to eat we found they had messed up my husband's order. We had both asked for mild entree's as we planned to share with our daughter. Luckily my husband tried his dish first as it was extremely spicy. Overall very disappointed with $47 meal/ experience.

We were only in Eugene for 2 days so we didn't have a lot of opportunities to eat out, but we are so glad we found Ta Ra Rin! We shared the Thai Pumpkin Curry and Pad Thai, both with shrimp. SO good! We've tried a lot of Thai food, and this was our favorite by far! I'm so sad we won't be able to eat here regularly!
