is
a
review
for
Elements
Health
Club
-Oakway.
Specifically,
I
talked
to
the
manager,
Melissa
Hillsman
(Hillsman
seems
to
be
the
last
name,
judging
from
the
email
address).
I
am
posting
this
review
to
multiple
Elements
Health
Club
locations,
because
they
are
one
company.
What
happened
to
me
might
happen
to
other
clubs
as
well.
So
I
need
to
let
people
in
other
locations
know
about
how
they
conduct
their
business
unprofessionally
and
potentially,
unethically.
I
was
a
member
in
2021.
Then
I
needed
to
relocate
to
CA.
I
talked
to
the
front
desk
girl
at
the
Elements
Health
Club
-Oakway
location.
I
was
told
that
I
could
freeze
my
account
without
incurring
any
fees.
I
have
had
it
with
some
clubs,
e.g.
LA
Fitness,
and
they
do
that.
So
I
trusted
their
words
and
signed
the
form.
This
is
an
important
detail
because
if
I
was
under
any
impression
that
they
were
going
to
charge
me
money
in
the
future,
I
would
have
just
quitted
the
membership
all
together.
So
starting
April
2022,
they
started
to
charge
my
bank
account.
I
don't
receive
any
notice,
no
email,
no
text,
just
started
to
withdrawing
money.
I
would
have
not
noticed
it
for
a
long
time
if
I
did
not
do
an
audit
of
my
bank
account.
I
called
them
and
talked
to
the
manager,
Melissa
Hillsman.
I
was
shown
a
copy
of
the
form
for
freezing
my
account,
which
is
very
vague
at
its
best.
The
freeze
form
itself
did
not
specify
what
would
happen
after
the
freeze
period
ends.
I
think
it
is
the
responsibility
for
a
professional
business
to
explicitly
warn
a
customer
that
there
would
be
a
charge.
The
fact
that
no
such
explicit
warnings
on
a
form
is
questionable
by
itself.
What's
more,
I
don't
even
think
I
was
given
a
paper
form
to
sign
anyway
(I
cannot
remember
exactly).
I
think
I
was
told
about
the
terms
and
then
I
only
signed
on
the
signature
terminal
pad.
If
you
have
been
to
any
of
their
Eugene
locations,
they
would
talk
to
you,
and
they
have
an
electronic
pad
for
you
to
sign
the
name.
Melissa
asked
me
to
write
down
my
opinions
about
the
issue
and
send
it
to
her.
It
has
been
a
week
and
I
never
heard
anything
back.
I
guess
they
just
do
not
care.
But
at
least
I
can
share
my
story
with
other
people
in
the
community.
