Great place for drinks and food in downtown Evansville. Located about two blocks from the river, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The food tastes great. The drinks taste strong. And the beer is ice cold. It is a good place to go to hang out with your friends and possibly meet some unusual people. I have never had bad food, a bad drink or a bad time at the Peephole.

Ample beer selection, but the staff and customers make this a great watering hole.

I can’t eat, or drink at a establishment in which the bartender is wearing basketball shorts, and they’re not even pulled up all the way. Evansville’s bar scene doesn’t have a great reputation as is at least they can do is put pants on.

It’s a nice bar with nice atmosphere and good prices. The barkeeper called JT served us very well and was a nice guy.

Very rude experience. Came in with a group of 8. Immediately he said we need to order from bar, then ignored when we tried to order. Then closed the kitchen at 9pm.

Friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere was nice. Food was good. Nice beer variety of beer.

First time here having dinner. We had cheeseburgers, fries, & tots. Food was good. We sat @ the bar so service was wonderful. We'll be back to try other things on the menu.

Just got a couple beers. They server made us throw our bottled water away. This place is just meh. Plenty of better places to go. Update: Tried this place again. Even worse experience.

OMG it was sooo busy. Basically we had a Wake for Rudy Guthrie, one of the most compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure to know. RIP Rudy, it's last call my friend. "The Parting Glass"

Reasonably priced drinks and food. If you like spicy chili, then you'll love the peep's.

Busy for sure! Bar had a stale smell and a bit stuffy but over all good. Was actually nicer outside.

Tasty, jalapenos popper were Great. The splitter was very good.

Great little dive bar type place. Very good selection of beers, draft and bottles/cans. Friendly staff. Love the outdoor seating area where you can watch the people on Main St. and enjoy some fresh air.
