Where do I start with this bakery...other than fantastic! I have been going here for years now and have never been disappointed! Quality is spot on, quantity is spot on and prices have stayed very reasonable considering the increases recently. So you could say this review is an homage to the now 50 plus years this bakery has consistently been delivering top quality to it's loyal customers! I love a sub baguette, and my go-to choice is a BLT with mayo! It comes rammed with crispy bacon, juicy tomato and lettuce a plenty! Simply amazing. I also enjoy a hot sausage roll too...again very enjoyable! My go-to cakes are the bakewells though, I just love the almond and jam filled pastry! So, not been to this bakery yet? You're missing out! You have to go there...like now! Come on, grab ya coat and get on ya way down there! :D

I went with my family today for their Afternoon Tea they occasionally have on. The food was absolutely beautiful, you can tell everything was cooked fresh that day, even down to the sausage roll (which was my personal favourite) The cake selection was well thought out and i have to say, its the best Afternoon Tea ive been too. The service and staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Its a family run bakery and they really do make you feel like you are family too. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you for a lovely day, Ill be back.

A super friendly local bakery, they were extremely accommodating in providing donuts for our wedding. We requested a variety of versions of classic Stenning bakery favourites and they provided numerous samples for us to try, and continued to perfect their creations. Pick up was very easy on the day, and we were so happy with the final donuts. Our guests loved the display, and loved the donuts even more! Thank you so much.

Yes, the cakes and sandwiches are great and the atmosphere brilliant but what makes Stennings afternoon teas a must is that you are treated like one of the family - they make the afternoon really special- if you are local then there is no reason why you should not give them a try. Best breakfast you can find around. Quality is just over the top, even the butter for the toasts is just incredible. Eggs Benedict are simply delicious, but pretty much anything you order will be a delight. My favourite breakfast place!

The Bakery in Carshalton Beeches is rated highly locally because of it's quality produce and friendly service. When I visited there were some tempting Halloween treats on sale but I went for a cornish pasty, an apple danish and a tea to take away, all were excellent!

Perfect reward after a long week translating. The service was very helpful and welcoming. The coffee was good. The Carrot Cake Muffin blew my mind. We would definitely return. Comfortable parking too.

I have tried all the local bakeries. Westhead Road, Station Road, Julia's bakery etc, but this is hands down the best place for bread, cakes and pastries. I usually grab a seeded bloomer, some crusty rolls and a hot sausage roll. Sometimes I get the Sourdough but its a bit pricey at £3.40 so I only have it as a treat. Don't get me wrong, it's worth every penny but I can't afford to eat it every day, plus I adore the seeded bloomer. Most times the bread is still warm when I buy it. The sausage roll is pure comfort food and tastes utterly home made and delicious. All the pastries are delicious, especially the apple one and pecan one and I could eat their doughnuts all day long. You feel the history and legacy as you walk through the door and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I'm so glad I live with 5 minutes of this bakery. Thank you for your decades of service and spectacular bread making.

Family went for a Festive Afternoon Tea and everything was perfect. The waitresses were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant sandwiches and cakes but couldn’t eat it all so the rest was packaged and taken home for later. Thank you so much. We will return very soon.

Great local bakery. Good choice of savoury food and sweet sweet treats as well as freshly baked breads....And an added bonus, if your a coffee lover, is that they use double shots as standard in their coffees, unless you request a single shot.

Always expanding their product range, woth a huge range of great food with traditional style and great taste…. And a super no-fuss eating in restaurant as well. Been going to The Bakery for more than 20 years - and the Stenning family just make it better every year!

This is the best bakery I have ever been to. Their doughnuts, cakes and bread are so fresh and tasty. The cakes are never too sweet and always taste delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough and so lucky we are close by.

Visited this splendid bakery at Carshalton Beeches for a coffee and possibly something else from their extensive range of pastries and cakes baked on the premises. A family run business which offers take away food, freshly baked bread and rolls, breakfasts morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea options to sit in the cafe or out. Fantastic service from friendly staff. Please visit if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed

This is a great family run business. You can tell by the queues how popular it is locally for bread and cakes. I eat in the cafe side every now and then, and the full English breakfast is one of the best.

Excellent have been going there for over fifty years I now live in Cornwall and pick up my bread small bloomers they freeze well. I can only go when I am passing nearby when visiting friends. Cannot find a baker's any where down here to touch them. Staff are always lovely.Doughnuts super. Sticky buns fantastic.

Delicious pastries and coffee. I have already tried to buy 3 times and definitely in none of them have I been disappointed, the pastries are noticeable that they are fresh and homemade, a true delicacy. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. It is definitely the best bakery in and around Carshalton Beeches.

On Wednesday afternoon, at 3.15 I would've liked a bit more kindness and smile from the young lady behind the counter. She might have been tired. The cake and bread we bought was nice.

Decent baked goods, though the quality seems to vary a bit across products. Friendly service too. Have only done takeaway but seems like a nice place to come and sit for brunch or afternoon tea.
