This is exactly what you should expect at a dinner. Food was good and fast.

This place is PHENOMENAL!! A true hidden gem!. I work a overnight shift down the street and noticed this cute little diner, I ordered over easy eggs toast,sausage, toast home fries and everything ordered was hot and delicious this establishment is clean I love that they had the safety plastic between tables, the waitress was fast and attentive and super friendly, the waitress checked on us immediately after we received our plates to see if we enjoyed our food I should've taken a picture of my food but I was starving and didn't think about until after I was done !! This is a MUST GO!! I WILL BR BACK!

Jake's Diner is honestly just a solid place to grab breakfast or lunch. Never had any problems at all. Food has always been made just right, and I'm confident that even though I haven't had it all, anything that comes out of the kitchen should leave you satisfied. Staff attitude ranges from fine to great, never bad. Cannot hurt to try Jake's if you're looking to for a bite to eat early in the day. Thanks folks! If you like The Courtyard restaurant, you should like Jake's Diner, and vice versa!

Cute little diner that felt like I was walking into my Aunt or Grandma's house. The staff were super friendly and warm welcoming. It wasn't crowded at all when we popped in around 1:00 P.M., so that was relaxing. The food was amazing! I got the corned beef sandwich with fries. I need to eat it again soon!! I'll be returning and you should go there, too! I highly recommend!!

Great place for breakfast and definitely excellent prices, the best I've seen in diners for the area. The quality does suffer because of the price of ingredients.

We split a fried onion ring and omg! If was awsome! They are homemade, So thin and lots of them. I mean thinner then a McDonald's French fried tasty batter and not greasy. We also ordered omelets they were good to. The potatoes can use allot of work. Everything else was great.

I had the worst cheese omelet with bacon I have ever had. The bacon was like shoe leather. Who wants bacon that dry and tough? It was hard to cut. The eggs were dry and overcooked to the point of being browned. Everything tasted like the grill needs cleaning. Yuck. The service was quick though. Never again--back to Rochelle's.

The diner food is not consistent. It wouldn’t take much to be a lot better. Homefries are thrown on the plate like an afterthought. The egg sandwich is poorly constructed. Very sloppy. Cmon WAKE UP. The waitresses work too hard for the kitchen to be indifferent. I cooked for 20 years and this is just sloppy!!! Get it together. I used to love iJake’s.

Been coming here since I was little and it just always gets better. They have the best sweet bread French toast period. Chocolate chip pancakes are also a fav!

Quick & comfy , food is authentic not to mention diners like this are so hard to come by ! A must try

I love the friendly and helpful staff. There are many choices and breakfast is served all day. Reasonable prices too.

What a disappointment! Went for lunch the other day. Fries are unseasoned and luke warm. The burger wasnt tasty either. Neither 1 of us liked it, and my husband had a different kind of burger. Waitress was nice. We didnt bother telling her because we were on a time limit. Oh well. Too bad.

Food was good...The server was rude..I asked about exchanging home fries , I said the upgrade price was outrageous. She made a rude comment and from that point on, her attitude changed. Then when I left a tip, she loudly made a comment regarding the tip..

It's a fun place, but look online for their busy, busy times and try not to go. The food's good and either time. But it's a whole lot more pleasurable when it's not quite as busy.

Went to Jake's twice this week. First time ordered eggs over medium the eggs were over easy barely cooked clear runny. Decided to try again a BLT on cheese roll since my BF had gotten it and it looked great. Well the BLT today had wilted lettuce the end of the tomato and limp bacon. Such a disappointment.

Breakfast was good. Home fries are average or just below. Beware of the string onion rings! Twigs. Haha

It's a diner. Like the old-fashioned flair. Staff is friendly. Food is on the skimpy side for the price, at least at breakfast time. You won't bring people in that way.

Good home cooked food atmosphere is good old fashioned diner and there are not many left around anymore.

My first time coming here with my dad a couple weeks ago and he was excited to bring me here bc it's cute and usually the food is good. I don't know if the kitchen was just having a bad day or if they have an inexperienced cook or something but we waited quite a while for our food to be out...when it wasn't all that busy which wouldn't be a deal if the food was good. My dads food was a bit burnt. The bacon in my sandwich was rubbery and my French toast had way too much egg mixture on it that the egg was legit seeping on the sides and just tasted off. The waitress brought us our bill, and we put our card down for it. We took it as is and didn't complain. Kinda just wanted to get out of there. She took our card and was gone for a few minutes before she came back and explained that she forgot to add an order of French toast to the bill..... so the bill was changing. My dad was sketched out about that. Idk if you make a mistake and forget to charge someone for a $2 ish item.. maybe let it slide??? I don't know. Service was meh, food was meh and it kinda just smelt weird. Maybe I'll give it another shot someday but definitely not eager to.

It is a great dine in/takeout restaurant. The food is amazing 👏 service is wonderful and they give you free candy! 😀 please support their business as it is very good.

Always loved this place for breakfast. A year ago the servings were huge and good value for $. Most customers were seniors. I am a senior and picked up breakfast for myself and hubby. Cost 40.00 before tip. Won't be able to return unless I get a job. So sad.

The staff is so friendly. Breakfast is great, lunch...eh. But I will go back and try something different.

We had the best ever waitress, short haired(dark hair, little lady) food was great. There wasn't any pastrami or swiss cheese so we needed to change our choices, but it was ALL GOOD

We stopped when in town for my aunt’s funeral, and ended up going back before we started our drive home. Food was great and the service was friendly. Will definitely stop back when we’re in the area again.

Perhaps because it was close to closing but it was not good. Good really burnt(black). The waitress still served it , sent back . Never did get an apology. Also a bot my husband ordered was terrible…?bacon had old grill taste Yuk!!

There's nothing more American than a good diner and Jake's never fails to dissapoint. The service is top notch and the food is great. Friendly, attentive staff.

Food is amazing. Bloody Mary was not my style, I wouldntget that again. It was crazy slow service, don't try it if you're in a hurry. But the food was SUPER good and I would 100% go back and get Mimosas next time.
