We were there today and this place is absolutetly beautiful. The gentleman helping in the water falls area is the best worker they have. All the others dont seem to want to be there. But the waterfall guy today on thursday was so friendly and helpful. He was helping all the kids and smiling the entire time. He deserves a raise. We will for sure come back!!

This is the most beautiful peaceful, historic place I have stayed in my life. I have traveled to many places and many countries, but I have never had such a wonderful connection with nature and and my appreciation for the beauty of my country. I felt as if I went back in time 300 years!! The entire architecture and the surrounding area kept as if they were constructed a week before. The staff members were so caring, and they made sure that all our needs were met. When we arrive at the property, the staff members greeted us with hand hand towels on a platter and an ice cold beverage. We had access to an assortment of tee and coffee around the clock. The food wes amazing, and the service wes perfect. We went down to the river and swam, we had a bonfire and access to life vests and kayaks. The ancient buildings are on 2000 plus acers of land. The sound of birds filled the air and the blooms of flowers helped to beautiful the surrounding areas. The manager Lily is an amazing person, we had a good long conversation about business and her jamaican heritage. I can't say enough great things about this beautiful property and the employees who constantly work there magic to let us feel at home. I highly recommend everyone and anyone who have the ability to visit Good Hope to do so.

This tour was fun and informative. It was a great way to learn more about the history of Jamaica, her people & culture, flora & fauna, and foods. Our tour CHUKKA tour guide, Lydia, and driver, Mr. Kool, threw in lots of fun facts, bad jokes, and singing as we made our way to Good Hope and back. This putting turned out to be much more than I had been expecting.

Great family day out. Lots of activities for adults and children as well as the historical elements and lovely water park. Can be expensive to do everything, but we really enjoyed it.

My family and I were on a cruise and one of the excursions that was suitable for a 4 year old was the Good Hope Plantation. The wife and the kid thought it was great because the had wonderful pool area and they hung out by it the entire time. I on the other hand was a bit sunburned and need a rest from cooking myself so I walked around as much as I could with what the excursion included. For the first hour I was very entertained but after that I was very bored. My wife and kid would say this place is a 5 star but I would only rate it as a 2 maybe a 3 star. Then something amazing happened… I discovered they had a Appleton Rum tasting experience! I asked if they had any openings and the people at the front said there was in the next class and took my payment. It cost $25 for it and it was worth every penny! The person teaching the class was Jessica and she made the class extremely fun, informative, made it feel like it was a 1 on 1 experience, and made me wish I could have done it again just so I could have learned more from her. Thank You Jessica’s for making that day of my trip.

A wonderful place for rest and relaxation surrounded by the lush greenery and the cacophony of sounds of the Caribbean. Salt water infinity pool is a plus. The staff prepared delicious meals locacally sourced. It was a delight to stay here.

Stunning place. The best part is the beautiful people of the staff. There is a family feeling of being at home. A piece of my heart lives here.

Great historic estate with plenty to see and do for a full day or more of quality family adventure. If you get hot or tired take a swim or climb the refreshing cool water falls.

It was okay. Get your own transportation because it's hot and you have to wait for HOURS in the heat for the bus even if your the last people here .... the bikes and raft are pretty good. Adrianne who was our guide on the raft was awesome. I would have given better reviews if I didn't have to wait so long to leave once we were done with the tour. We had to wait over TWO HOURS in the sweltering heat ... My suggestion is to make sure you are first in and first out or find your own transportation back to your hotel

Spent the most beautiful week here on a retreat and can’t say enough great things about Good Hope! Amazing, warm and friendly crew who took the best care of us. Food that was absolutely delicious. Beds were comfy, AC and wifi worked well and the pools were so gorgeous. I hope to return one day!
