Modernly designed restaurant with a touch of nostalgia situated right by the water where the original fish drying took place. The amazingly tasting and incredibly refreshing locally sourced salmon salad is quite possibly the best salad I've ever had. Their signature fish soup is not fishy at all, full of flavor. Home made rhubarb juice is also highly recommended.

One of the best restaurant on Faroe Islands, if not the best one! It’s really cosy and well design. The food is very delicious. We were there twice. First one for coffee and rhabarub cake and secondly for dinner. We ate fishsoup, which was so tasty.

Wonderful welcome meal upon arriving! We ordered five dishes - a variety of crepe, charcuterie, vegetables, salted fish chips with cheese and potatoes, and the fish soup. Everything was delicious!! I was surprised to have things like poached egg and roasted potatoes being served cold, but it was still very tasty. Most dishes could be modified for gluten sensitivity. Nice beverage selection too! Don’t miss the fish soup; a definite highlight of the menu.

Delicious fish soup in a historical building. I feel what makes it different from fish soups I had in other countries are the bacalao bits. For those who intend to come for dinner, take note it closes rather early at 8pm.

One of our favorites on Faroer Islands! Delicious food, more delicious food, one of the rather rare spots to get fresh fish and yummy veggies from the area, good wine, nice service. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place in a historic building. The staff was warm and welcoming. Coffee and cake were very delicious. The photos and explanations about the history of the building and the village were fascinating. We had a nice stay here and can only recommend to get here for all occasions - breakfast, lunch, coffee in the afternoon or dinner.

Definitely worth a visit after a hike to Drangarnir. Tasty food. Friendly service. Chilled out vibe. A bit on the pricey side though.

We absolutely fell in love with the restaurant! Everything starts with the cozy atmosphere when entering the place. So many nice decoration ideas! Then we were amazed about the small menu with roughly 10 dishes to chose … but how extraordinary these dishes are! We really loved the creative and appealing way of how good, mainly local ingredients are recombined to something completely new … like the beer root wrap stuffed with salad and fish! And above all very friendly service and fair prices.

We really liked this place. The fish soup was good and the cod crepe was great. Totally recommended!

Small restaurant with nice food. The fish soup and the fish of the day was tasty. We had to come three times to be able to get a table as they don’t take reservations and you can’t wait inside. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and it had a tourist bus for almost 3 hours. They staff was nice but they were not enough for all the customers. I honestly don’t think the wait is worth it!

The place is nice and recommend by a local. Had the fish meal here. The dish looks yummy but felt I was eating hole bowl of salt. Had to eat the bread to finish the meal even my blood sugar level is high. Tried to talk to the waitress but she just ignored me and walked away.
