I have been to 83 countries, I ate countless cakes, and the carrot cake is hands down the best cake I ever had in my 29 year old life. Coffee is also great.

One of the few restaurants in Klaksvík but fortunately a good one. The menu is limited but all of good quality. The fish soup was very good with big chunks of both veg and fish. The burgers were also very good with proper beef patties. Staff are very friendly and the food was delivered promptly but freshly cooked.

Delicious fish soup (only available from around 1045am onwards) and soft bread. Most customers had the other breakfast sets though.

I recently visited Fríða Kaffihús and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Beef Burger with Bacon and the small potatoes, which were both incredibly delicious. The toffee latte was a perfect match to my meal and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and drink. I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Faroe Islands to give Fríða Kaffihús a try. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and can't wait to visit again!

Came here for breakfast and it was so good we came back for dinner. Very good food and service. A little bit on the pricey side.

A nice spot for a short break with coffee und cake. Staff was welcoming. The architecture is very modern but the interior is warm and comfortable. Even if there was a construction site on one site of the building, you could enjoy the view at the water on the other site. Toilets were clean and tidy.

We had a vegan burger and a cinnamon scroll (not vegan). The food was delicious - possibly the best scroll I've had. Everyone is super friendly. Definitely worth a visit and a great stop when you're up this end of the islands (especially for vegetarians and vegans)

Toller Kuchen und leckere Heißgetränke, großzügiger Raum, direkt neben der Touri-Info gelegen. Interieur allerdings eher im Stil eines Fastfood Restaurants, ein bisschen steril.

Sehr leckerer Burger. Mit einem Preis von 150kr ist es der Insel angemessen. Auch wenn es dennoch teuer ist. Die meisten Zutaten haben sehr gut zusammengepasst und waren selbstgemacht. Die Kartoffeln waren sehr gut! Aber ein Bier 0,33l für 50kr empfand ich für zuviel. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Und die Toiletten sauber und gepflegt.

This is a very cosy cafe by the harbour with fantastic views to complement the meal. The staff with friendly and approachable. We ordered the beef burger and chicken salad. Both were good and portions filling (would have been better if the pan fried potatoes were not sold out!). The Nordic Cider by Foroya Bjour and Chai latte were great too. I would highly recommend to drop by this cafe if you are in Klaskvik.

The first time we were last year and we were very pleased with the decor, coffee and cake. After a year, we visited this place again and we are just as pleased with the service and coffee. We will definitely come by again during our stay 😊🎉 PS I went back for Oreo coffee and carrot cake 😋😋😋 Update: We're back again. Hot chocolate - yummy! and panna cotta coffee - very interesting

This is a very cosy cafe by the harbour in a new modern building. We ordered the beef burger and soft drinks. Prices reasonable as it is the faroe island. You can order coffee to-go just ask. No wifi in a modern cafe was a big disappointment.

Cosy bar in the center of Klaksvik. Excellent cakes as a snack for after your hike and great, affordable dinner options if you're more hungry. Definitely worth a stop!

Fish soup. One of the best I've ever had. Desperately want the recipe so I could attempt to recreate it at home. Was perfect for the somewhat overcast, damp and cold stay in quaint Klaksvík in May 2023. Served with warm bread with a pad of butter. Honestly some of the best food we had in all the islands, but for sure the best we had in Klaksvik. Please someone let us know if the gang of ducks still hang out in the parking lot nearby the restaurant. They were cool.

Went here 2x. Dinner was good. Burger was fine, chicken salad was very good (esp with bread), and the beer was great. Apple cinnamon cake was fantastic. Played cards (they have games) during dinner - which was fun. Breakfast was very good. Got the breakfast platter with unlimited coffee refills. Could split among 2 people. Very tasteful arrangement. Pastries were great! Yogurt was spot on. Recommend getting the fresh press juice (extra charge). Definitely the bright spot in Klaksvik!

We had hot chocolate and Cappuccino with oat milk. Unfortunately there was no vegan cake. Chocolate-banana and apple-cinamon were delicious though

Great spot for a bite to eat after a long day. Great atmosphere, relaxed easy going. Loved the art as well. The carrot cake slapped! Could eat a whole cake easily
