Free, about 15 minute drive from the airport, has a beautiful waterfall, a cafe that closes at 4pm, and is a nice, quaint place to check out. There's a good trail that goes from the falls to behind the village and into the village. Worth checking out if you have the time. The tunnel into Gasadalur is narrow, so drive safe.

Pretty good looking waterfall and a nice trail to walk on starting from the waterfall that goes around the village. It’s free to enter which is blessed 🙏 We parked on a gravel patch right before the cattle guards before the city.

Múlafossur Waterfall is easily the most famous attraction in the Faroe A nice walk from the village houses in Gásadalur, you will find this famous waterfall. This plummeting waterfall is known for its taking-your-breath-away experience. Just before getting to the waterfall, you will drive through the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel. There is a parking lot near the waterfall. From this parking lot, you will walk for 2 minutes in order to reach the breathtakingly beautiful waterfall that drops into the ocean. The cascade drops more than 30 meters (100 feet). During windy days, you are likely to see the water rising up into the air. This is a common sight all around the Faroe Islands.

Viewing point for the Múlafossur waterfall. Follow the sign to park nearby (if there’s no parking by the start of the trail) and take the 5mins walk to see the waterfall. Roads are generally quiet but from the direction of the city the road slopes down so cars might come at a higher speed so need to watch out for them.

Where else do you get to see a waterfalls that falls directly into the ocean over a cliff? Majestic waterfall against a backdrop of huge mountain. Park your car further away and take a short walk to the view point.

One of the top sights to see when in Vagar! It's a very peaceful and calming view with a little bit of hiking involved.

Great spot of the #1 waterfall in Faroe Island. Look closer to see the puffins flying around the cliff. Highly recommended!!

An absolute must see when you're planning to visit the islands. It's a very short walk to see the waterfall and it's very close to the airport as well (ideal place to see if you've got an hour or so to spare before your flight). There's a car park and a public toilet in the village.

Wow, a beautiful view of the waterfall, if you're lucky you can catch the wind blowing water up and not down. There is accommodation nearby, which I also recommend, as it is right next to the waterfall and you can enjoy it to the fullest.

One of the most famous tourist attraction in Faroe Islands. It's really amazing. I visited it at 7AM so I was there completely alone and it has magic atmosphere with silent Gasadalur village in the background. You will reach waterfall just in 10 minutes of walk from parking lot. There is gravel path to it and then you can take short walk back to the village.
