Incredible place, we’ll worth the hike! Standing on the edge of the cliffs is breathtaking. You are permitted to fly your drone here - make sure it’s not too windy the day you go! Also there are many sheep along the way. Only 1 star off for the steep price for the hike though.

The hike is pretty easy and mostly flat until you want to get up to look back at the lake and sea. You need to go up a steep side but relatively moderate climb. The view is very amazing and stunning. Worth the trip. Please note that there is a fee of 200DKK which is not cheap.

A beautiful hike with beautiful views over the lake and the ocean at the same time. At the end the views are breathtaking. It takes around 1 hour each way. A little pricey in my opinion, 200DKK per person.

About a 2 hour hike in and out to the best view of the Faroes. The floating lake is breathtaking and spectacular. This view itself makes it worth the trip to the Faroes!

Absolutely awesome place! But the price is not ok! Better go the way around the lake, starting under the airport! But be prepared to go through the water! (better take off your trousers), it will be a great adventure! The view to the waterfall is also better from the other side (before crossing the water, coming from the airport)!

This is the point you want to be at to take the lake over the ocean photo. You can use a drone (carefully) here, or step closer to the edge with a wide-angle lens. Around a 4 mile or 6.5 km hike. Takes an hour to walk out at a leisurely pace, but it can really take 20 minutes if you do a constant light jog. There's not much elevation gain. There's a 200 DKK per person fee and the entrance is manned starting at 8am. The lake is really nice to be at for the sunrise mist. I'd recommend if you find a good day.

45/60’ hike almost flat till you reach the end of the lake. you got there three very interesting panoramic points where you can take pictures off the cliffs, the lake above the sea and a waterfall - there is an entrance fee of 200 dkk, you have to pay it at the gate at the parking.

Fairly easy hike of approximately 2hrs. The office sells coffee, sodas, candy etc. there are also toilets at the tourist office. 200dkk is a bit expensive for the hike. The optical illusion is better appreciated on photos rather than real life. But the views are absolutely stunning.

Beautiful hike, the landscapes and views are amazing. The path is ok. The cliffs are impressive But 200kr (25 euros) per person is a scam. They could at least offer water of some tea The toilets at the hike departure were clean

Amazing viewpoint at the lake, cliff and ocean. This is the point from which it looks like lake is hanging above ocean. Hike to this place is very easy, it's mostly flat, just this end section is more steep but nothing difficult. Whole trail is suitable for children. The hike costs 200 DKK which is in my opinion too much.

Worth the hike as the view is just beautiful. You can easily spend more than 1hr at the summit watching the ocean :)

The reason why the Faroe Islands got on my radar. Probably your reason too. Worth the price of admission. The walk out here is kind of boring but the payoff is so worth it!

The highlight of my trip to Faroe. The hike is easy and it takes about 45 minutes each way. The scenery is wonderful and 200kr to get in is not expensive for Scandinavian standards.

Breathtaking views all over the area, from the cliffs 'holding' the lake to the waterfall falling into the ocean. The ticket cost 20 euros, so it is ideal to make this hike count. It is a must to pick a good day, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the view.
