If you take the Smyrl Line ferry from Denmark to Iceland without extending your stop in Faroe Islands, you’ll get roughly three hours to walk around Torshavn in the morning as the sun comes up. This was the highlight. A bit of a hike for something small but still a beholden and unreal sight. And still plenty of time to check out more too.

Look its beautiful. Its quaint and its right in the city. For people who want a taste of the Faroes but maybe not physically able to do much. Or your locked down in the city ( avaoiding a Hurricane....) this si a nice stop to make. A good break away. However Great is not where I put this. However it might make a nice time with some Elderly or small children.

Very close to city center, couple minutes drive. There's free parking and a little trail you can use to go to the waterfall. There's another trail that takes you up the falls. It's quiet if not for the rushing water.

So so beautiful! Quite close to the city center as well! Go here! Take a walk or go for a run!

A beautiful and pleasingly dramatic waterfall, very photogenic, situated in nice parkland. Quite quiet - a few joggers and dog walkers while we were there for an hour. There's no safety rail at the top but the footing is quite flat and easy to walk on one side - beware of slipping in the spray though!

Thank you Google Maps for guiding me to this hidden gem! I made a quick stop there but a walking path goes past it giving a great opportunity to see some jaw dropping views of Torshavn.

During our travel on Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 we were gifted to be accommodated near this beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is located in the nice nature. You could not tell that your are still in the capital.

Beautiful little waterfall closeby to Tórshavn, surrounded by a wonderful nature made of flowers, grasses, traditional houses with sheep & the sea. Recommended for having a romantic moment or for jogging in the surroundings!
