Great and fresh fish on a traditional Danish Open Sandwich style menu. It seems like that the menu changes accordingly to what type of fish they have available. Prices are good compared to many other places. Probably the best open sandwiches I’ve tried in all Denmark and Faroe until now. Very very recommended if you are visiting Faroe Islands for an affordable price!

Conveniently located in downtown Tórshavn. One of the few spots open for lunch after 2pm. Laksafrikadel are two warm salmon cakes with a salad of pearl barley, cucumber, radishes, spring onion, sweet heort cabbage and vinaigrette served with a cream of smoked cheese. Fiskaflak is a cold fillet of haddock with tortare sauce, chips and dried shredded fish. Very tasty. Recommend as there are a few levels to dine within a relaxed environment.

At the Faroe Islands you don’t get much choice for restaurants and places to eat out. So Bitin is one of the few options, but it was great. The fish balls were extremely delicious and the local cider is delicious. Good local place!

Lovely modern lunch place in the middle of Tórshavn city center. The sandwiches here is very nice and the price are reasonable. Portions are maybe a littlebit on the smaller side? We tried a couple of them, fermented fish, chicken, potato and pork. All of them are recommended, and you get free tap-water with your meal. I'm only giving 4 stars because unfortunately the cappuccino here is pure garbage... And for 42 DKK, don't even bother.... But all in all, a good lunch experience 😊

The main dish here are the Danish sandwiches, which are basically a slice of bread topped with different ingredients, such as fish, veggies, chicken, and so on. They are quite popular among escandinavian and really enjoyed them myself too. The waitress who took my order was not too nice.

Went for a short lunch a Bitin. The setting, atmosphere and food was great. The prices where quite average considering it's location. Overall, I left as a very happy customer 😉

Gluten free options available. The service could be really slow if the place is crowed.

Had to reorded twice waited 15 minutes for drinks and then 25 minutes for frozen raw shrimp in a bowl.... this will literally haunt me for the rest of my life worst experience ever, hope the chef that used his dorty hands to take out shrimp from a box and stuff them into a bowl infront of me gets fired on the spot. Management is nonexistent organization is chaos. We did get a refund tho but the sight of frozen raw unseasoned shrimp thst are about to go to the waste bin will never leave me... we cracked one open "in case it was some local delicacy and such" but it was just dirty cold unwashed and yeah..... a nightmare

😐 We opted to stop there for dinner on Tuesday night, and ended up a bit disappointed. We arrived ar 620pm, and even though the restaurant was practically empty, we were told no availability until 9pm. We were then given the option to get the "to go" option, which us basically sushi in a plastic cont...

🫤 Was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but as much as I tried to like it, the food was really bad and not worth the money. We ordered one 5-plate and one 7-plate tapas, but the first 3 plates were really nothing special - cold shrimp in mayo, smoked salmon with kale, cured beef wit...

🫤 Totally overrated with a plethora of unnecessary items (including the so called salad bar that had no real salad)! We had to book as they are always full (not sure why)! We ordered the 16 piece first course which McDonalds makes better; wanted to order the ribs but they were out of them (at 20:00)....
