Simple but delicious fish and chips, much needed on a cold day in the faroes, especially when every other restaurant is closed. A big relief to have hot food from a friendly owner :) My husband and I ordered an extra large to share and it was just nice. Thank you!

Located in a carpark means parking is not a problem at all. There’s also a sheltered area to dine in and it’s perfect for the unpredictable weather. The fish is well battered and fried almost perfectly. The fish is fresh and flaky. Lots of fries and the staff are extremely friendly. Would 100% recommend to drop by as it’s just beside the ferry service to Kalsoy Island.

Very good fish&chips near harbor. The restaurant is type of bistro, you order outside but there is a place where you can sit and eat. Fish was fresh and delicious. Staff was very nice. The price was very reasonable (small fish&chips 100 DKK, medium 125 DKK). Recommend it.

Tasty, fresh with excellent sauce. They have a few beers as well.

Honestly, I've had Fish n' Chips many places around the world and the US, and while I haven't had it in the UK, I can tell you that this is the best Fish n' Chips I've ever had. The quality of the fish was fantastic. Oter, it was a pleasure chatting with you during our meal last month. Sara and I say hello.

What sets this place apart is not just the stunning location, but the fantastic pricing. The value you get for your money is exceptional. Now, let's talk about the food – it's even better than you can imagine! The fish and chips were fresh, crispy, and simply delicious. But it's not just about the food; the staff here are something special. They're not only friendly but also wonderfully sparkly English-speaking. Their willingness to assist and provide advice made the experience all the more enjoyable. In fact, I was so impressed with The Tent Fish and Chips that I couldn't resist driving back with my girlfriend four days later to savor those mouthwatering fish and chips once again. If you're in the Faroe Islands, this place is an absolute must-visit. You won't be disappointed!

Our group of 14 arrived very hungry on a rainy July afternoon. The owner and his son were not only very quick to prepare our food, but the young boy's service was just outstanding. The food was quite delicious, the best fish and chips I had on the trip!! What a fantastic place to stop for a lunch on the run, and the dining area was also just perfect for our group.

I challenge you to say you have had better fish and chips! We had haddock and chips. The fish was straight out of the sea. We sat in the cosy cabin and got chatting to the owner who told us a lot about the history of the area. They also sell beer and wine to go with your meal. An authentic experience of the Faroe isles not to be missed.

Simple food yet extremely tasteful. Fresh fish, fries cooked to perfection and delicious sauce to top it off. 2000 km from my home, but we will return.

great spot for Fish and Chips if you are in Klaksvik, accept credit cards, with plenty of drink options. Easy parking and just off the main road.

Seems a popular spot with the locals, I noticed a few of them ordering as I drove past so decided to drop in. Friendly guy who recommended me the fish of the day and it was all freshly cooked in under 10 minutes. Quite a spectacular view, as I sat in my car parked on the dock enjoying the view of the landscape.

Best fish & chips ever! The fish is super fresh and the sauce is just delicious! The staff is very nice and there are also some tables to eat there. They also have wifi! Highly recommended!

Fantastic fish! Was so fresh and tender it nearly melts in your mouth! Had to be a little ginger dipping up the tarter sauce or the fish piece would fall apart. Good sauce, a little sweeter than I'm used to, but very creamy and tasty. The fries were crisp and well seasoned. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Don’t miss this spot. Best fish and chips ever. Enjoyed it twice this week! Will need to hike an extra round, but fully worth it 😉
