Spacious hall with good food options. Beef short ribs (oksariv) we’re deliciously tender and detached from the bone in a touch. Try the salted fish with mash & garnatalg (a lamb fat) if you’re feeling adventurous want to experience the local cuisine (Saltfiskabrandada og garnatálg).

I was very impressed with my first visit. The brewery/restaurant is rustique, with the brewing equipment in full view, giving an impression of the work that goes on. The restaurant has a good mix of dishes, everything is preared on site, from mostly raw ingredients. The beer-dough battered fish was my favourite, reminding me of the best in fried fish dishes. The spicy chicken drumsticks were excellent, tender and tasty.

Was awesome to visit this new brewery in Torshavn. We ended up coming back a few times during our visit as we really enjoyed their hazy IPA. Since they are new to open, there are a few kinks to work out with ordering food and the associated wait times, but I’m sure things will smooth out with experience.

Fun brewery where you can drink local beers and eat good food for a decent price. On the site it said you could only book a tour starting from 6 persons but we asked for a short tour and the guy was very happy to show us 2 around for free! Overall great guys and a great atmosphere, it got a bit cold in the evening but that didn't ruin the vibe at all.

Delicious fresh food and beer, good music and atmosphere, very spacious. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Worth a visit! On the pictures are pulled pork, homemade potato salad, fish in beer dough and light OY beer 👍👌

Great working brewery that offers a unique experience. Beer tasting, and what looks to be fabulous food (we saw it being served, but didn't stay to taste). Location is a bit out of town (industrial estate/retail park).

Good selection of food. Can definitely recommend the cod. Nice to be able to taste different beer before deciding which to order with the food.

Interior and atmosphere is nice, it's inside a brewery so alot of industrial design. Food & drink (3 out of 5) We tested the Bacalao brandada and the Pork sausage, cheddar and jalapeño w/side dishes Sauerkraut and Homemade cucumber salad. The food taste good but you get tiny portions! For 270 DKK (36 USD) you expect more. We also tested a new beer on tap, recommended by the bartender. Bartender didn't ask if we wanted a small og big glass, just tapped a big one. 140DKK (18,5 USD) Value for money (2 out of 5) Total: 410 DKK (55 USD) Service and staff friendliness (4 out of 5) Glad we tested out OY, will we come back, probably not for the food, but they got a couple of beers on tap we want to test out, so maybe.

Incredibly welcoming staff surpassed only by the quality and variety of excellent beers. The kitchen was closed on our visit but we were offered local beef jerky that was amazing. Highly recommended.

As a Norwegian beer enthusiast I was looking forward to visiting this BBQ and beer-heaven after a long day hiking. We were immidiately met by a stressed out server in the kitchen who said that they were out of food 1 1/2 hours before closing the kitchen, which seems a bit weird on a saturday with hungry locals and tourists. The beer selection was nothing to brag home about, with some good beers, but nothing really too special. After a few beers we left this place, in disapointment as this was one of the top places I was looking forward to visit in Thorshavn. Come here earlier than we did (19.30) for a better experience.

A great brewery pub with tasty bar food. I liked the most the blueberry beer. Thank you for the experience. We took the bus to the place as it is a bit outside Tórshavn centrum.

As the name says it's a brewery, and on that side they do their job quite well brewing some quality beer. The real problems emerge on the pub side, the food is good but scarce for the price and the service is definitely not on point, bartenders seem annoyed when interacting with the public and don't give you any sort of info on the beer they serve. Another down point was the shop, closed after 17, and even the day after, when it was supposed to be open it was again mysteriously closed to the public and we couldn't buy any sort of merch, such a pity.

Excellent in every way. Nothing fancy. Indoor picnic tables with an outdoor feel. Limited menu, but good choices. No meal choice comes with anything. It is all separately priced. The pulled pork BBQ was excellent. Plentiful pork, soft bun, slaw and fries. Vast array of beer choices. Pay for food and beer in separate locations. Would return to this restaurant!

Amazing beer and food. Even though OY is one of the only two breweries in the Faroes, it offers quality beers that can be found in the greatest micro-breweries of other cities in the world. Just to add a caveat that beer in the Faroes is very expensive in general, and beer here is also expensive.

Good simple beer and food. Cozy industrial place. Sometimes the english translation might be tricky, so highly recommend to google the original names of food in the menu.

Great variety of delicious beers. I've been to dozens of craft breweries in the USA (even got married at one) and this is just as good as any. Their main beer, Oyn Oy, is an easy to drink lager with subtle nuances. Same with their golden lager. Kopar Dropar may have been my favorite beer of the trip. Chicken and fish were good eats, but skip the potato salad. I wish I tried the wind dried lamb. The facility was similar to ones you'll find in low-density industrial parks in the US. However the tasting/restaurant area was more spacious and well-designed than most US brewery tasting rooms. Service was friendly, helpful, and spoke English.

Excellent atmosphere, delicious food and dangerously smooth drinks! Rhubarb and pear cider was amazing!
