We've come here 3 times so far and we've loved it! It's really great pizza 🍕

Great place for above average pizza. We have been dining here for years, and their pizza have always been good. Love the crust and bread. There were issues with lack of meat for how much it costs. But they gave made improvements, and we definitely felt that they have matched the value and consistency of their pizzas. The staff changed but were attentive for the most part. The service took a while this time, and they comped the entire pizza that was late. We were surprised. The salad were fresh and pizzas were well prepared (even the late one) and hot.

Went for a late lunch, and it did not disappoint. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. They were patient, kind, and cracked a few jokes. The food came promptly and was the perfect temperature. Everything was so delicious and satisfying. They are known for their buckets, which are tasty. Overall the staff exceeded expectations, and i would come back anytime.

Got here and there were only 2 servers. Was told it would be about an hour wait before we were seated. We fortunately were sat about 10 minutes later. The server came about 10 minutes later to take our drinks. After seeing that they were short handed we decided to order all of our food at once. Our drinks came out 5 minutes later. The raspberry lemonade wasn't good but the peach lemonade was. All of our food then came 10 minutes later. The cheese sticks were ok. Would have wanted more of a garlic butter flavor to them. Asked for a side of garlic butter and it tasted just like warm regular butter. We did get extra cheese on them so they were super cheesy.. The pizza was tasty. Not the worst I've had but also not the best. I got the meaty one which is basically their version of a meatlover pizza. We got extra cheese on that one too but the side without any pineapples on it barely had any cheese. So many people raved about this place to me so I expected the pizza to knock me off my feet. But sadly it didn't. It was just basic pizza. Not really flavorful or seasoned. The wings and fries were also just ok. Im so glad I didn't get the pasta (that's what my first mind wanted) because I now fear it would have been very bland. My partner also got a cocktail. It was the fortunate son. This mixed drink has whiskey in it. Now, she has had quite a few whiskey cocktails, even some similar to this recipe before but that one was disgusting and poorly balanced. It was basically bourbon with a slice of orange. Besides it being way to strong it just didn't taste good. Nonetheless the server was great. She accommodated our needs and checked on us quite a few times. The tables were cleaned. The establishment was clean and beautifully decorated. Which is which I gave it 2.5 stars but I probably won't be back.

Service could be slow during busy time. We waited about 18 minutes for our Calamari and decided not to get anything else. We've been here multiple times before. Long island tea is so strong, a couple can share 1 bucket and have a good buzz. Pizza is also good. Pasta selection is not very large. There's a bar, booth, regular tables and the vibe is rocking.

Food was amazing. We sat at the bar the chicken sandwich was to die for. Great service from Mindy

I absolutely have no complaints! Sat in the bar, and had a little under a hour before closing, we were not rushed out at all. Bartender was great and friendly. Pizza, wings, and drinks were good!

The rock pizza is alright. We enjoyed ourselves. In my opinion the sauce is more of a sweeter marinara, the crust is really great! My drink wasn't very stiff, however it was tasty.

Visited on a friday night. Starting off by saying Mindy, our bartender was amazing to the best of her ability. I was disheartened to see her working so hard, essentially by herself as the manager was walking around and sparking up conversations with other employees, therefore slowing them down. It was extremely busy and everyone seemed so flustered. Except the manager. She wasn’t helping bring food out (that I could see) but did happen to bring our COLD appetizer out. We asked for ranch, instead of getting it herself she decided to shout at Mindy loudly “hey get them ranch!”, of course she was so busy she forgot. Which I’m not faulting her for. Then our food came out an hour later, my California dreamin was cold and pizza doughy, my husbands pizza was good. My previous experience with Mindy, the tab was messed up and the she cashed out the table behind us with my tab and whatever happen and transpired the manager told her to “just hand them the tab they probably won’t notice” LYING to a customer.. yikes. Our waitress Mindy decided to graciously and honestly tell us what happened, I understood and gave them about 20 min to figure it out (no problem) and comped my meal and got the tab correct. All in all, this manager is not cut out to be a team player. Shes proven to be untrustworthy and is not fit to be managing a restaurant or staff.

I arrived at the Federal Way location at approximately 8 pm with my sister on Saturday, 5/27/23. My sister and I walked in and went to the bar. To be honest, it was not a very busy night with only 4 or 5 other tables. Our cocktail waitress didn't tell us her name she had curly hair and was about 5'5. She got our drinks and order at the same time cause she had taken a long time to get to us we were ready to order. We ordered 2 drinks, nachos, and a personal cheese pizza. The drinks took longer than expected, along with the nachos. At 9pm our personal cheese pizza hadn't arrived, the bar and restaurant wasn't busy yet after 45 minutes our pizza hasn't arrived? From 8:20 pm to 9:00 pm, our cocktail waitress didn't check in with us. When she did at 9 p.m., she told us she had gone on break??? She didn't even tell us she was going on break, and that was her excuse as to why we didn't get our pizza! This is by far the worst customer service experience I've had! With the delay of our pizza and lame excuse we lost our appetite and asked to cancel the pizza and requested the bill, we were given a discount BUT I didn't show up to your establishment looking for a discount!! I went to your establishment to eat and enjoy a pizza, which when I left I didn't get to do so cause your "server" went on break in the middle of no business literally no ppl in the restaurant!!! I'm never returning to any Pizza Rock for craving pizza since your staff can't bring me a pizza in an hour on a slow business hours. I don't recommend anyone going here.

Staff was really friendly. Even though it was a week night it was quite busy. They were very attentive to what we needed. The pizza was awesome as usual. First time at this location and they did a great job. The dryer rub branch wings were on the salty side. Probably will pick a different flavor next time. Atmosphere was lively on the side where the bar was. Dining room was relatively quiet overall.

Pleasantly Piquant Pizza! Delicious, mouthwatering, savory pizza awaits your ravenous appetite at the The Rock Wood-Fired Pizza Restaurant. The calzones, cheese bread and beverages are quite flavorful as well. The ambiance is cozy and interesting. The walls are composed of unique and artistically broken brick, reminiscent of the wood-fired brick ovens. Enjoy a brew or a drink “bucket” to complete you fabulous meal. . For dessert or as an appetizer, enjoy some brown sugar mozzarella bread… fantastic! All in all, you will want to return over and over to this wonderful eatery.

I’m gonna say the cooks 🤪from the distance of where I can view them are very confident and quick. 😉☺️😌😊 I really do like the atmosphere. Here is very nice ,especially leaving the gym. 😛😛😋I just wish the servers could smile a little bit more. At least show more enthusiasm.🙃🙃🙃 The food is very delicious and I’m very happy that they have ketchup😀😀😀… It’s your one and Only… BMJJK… Also, they give military discount 🙌🙌🙌

Ordered a bucket and when it arrived she dumped it on me and then brought me napkins so I could clean myself and my table up. And then we ordered 3 appetizers and got pizza and no appetizer. And the pizza was cold. And when the nachos for my mom finally came they weren't worth the wait. Was $91 for 12" cold pizza and a kids pizza and the bad nachos. My daughter had to wait till after we done eating to get a refill on her lemonade. I've been to allot of Rock restaurants and this was my far the worst. Won't be back here again.

I actually opened this Rocks location in Federal Way, and boy it made me happy come back and see the changes! They now have live music Saturday nights, many different bucket flavors, and their pizzas will always be to die for. They are fresh, hot, and always consistently delicious; we even buy extra dough to take home for us to use whenever 😋

Excellent food, excellent service, ambience supreme & loved sitting in the bar next to the fireplace. Recommend & I come here almost once a month since 2009. Best pizza in my opinion & I have been to other locations as well & bartenders always friendly.

They only had one flavor of jello shots and it took almost an hour to get my pizza waitress was friendly and had a great laugh !!!! The food was fair

My freind and I walked into the establishment on 10/21 around dinner time. Overall service was okay at first as I understand how busy the restaurant business may be but man we ordered buffalo wings and a large pizza, It took 40 minutes to just get appetizers! We finished our drinks way before we even had a glimpse of the food😂.The reason it took so long is apparently they ran out of buffalo sauce and had to go get some. It would be nice to get some communication about what’s taking so long or if we even still wanted to wait for our appetizers. Once we actually received our food (pizza and appetizers) the food was decent. Waiters were super nice but this establishment lacks an organized management/ kitchen. No discount was offered as a curtesy for the wait.

Had a really good time. Enjoyed the food and fries I got were okay. Wouldn't say the best. But the pizza was great. Mandy B, Manny, Mindy...are great at what they do. I enjoy my visit very much. They were geeet what they did...

We took our kid and their partner out for a birthday celebration. It seemed busy, but not too bad. We waited like 5 minutes for a table and were the only ones in the waiting area. Not every table was filled. Our wait staff were all really nice, and the food was mostly really good. We did wait a long time for our food, almost an hour, which is unheard of really. I've never had this problem before at the Rock, and I think I've been to this location before too. Super strange. Our waiter said the kitchen was backed up, but it was unclear why, because it wasn't packed. Everything about the food and drinks were fine, except for our burger. We got the impossible burger with sauteed mushrooms, fries, and ranch dip. Came with fresh mushrooms, no sauce (very dry), and no ranch. I didn't ask for different cause I don't care too much and it was still yummy. They said we couldn't take our alcoholic drinks to go, because they were running low on buckets (?) and didn't have to go cups (??). Okay fine. Wasn't the best Rock experience, but like I said, the wait staff was nice otherwise and the food was mostly really good.

This place is fun, has pretty loud rock music playing. Large bar and seating area. Menu is decent, could have more vegetarian options but it is manageable as a vegetarian. I gave three for service because it was a shame ft change and we got forgotten- but I’ll update it if we go back and that’s improved. The staff could be more proactive about being welcoming. For atmosphere, in terms a a fun rocker pizza place vibe, they have that down well. The only issue was it was rather smoky from bacon cooking and could use better ventilation. I would definitely go back.

Huge fan of this place. The prices of the pizzas have certainly gone up considerably since my last visit but the food is good Services usually at least decent. My wife loves getting the bucket size drink when we visit I am for them to come back to the Midland Valley in oregon. I'm not going to the one in the Portland area and Washington is so far away.

Host and server was very nice. Not busy at the time we were there, about 5pm. There was a kids birthday party and few people here and there. It was Cinco de mayo so we went to have a drink. Jack and diet and the bucket special called Sweet escape, it had gummy bears in it. Had some hot wings and french fries. Love the fries there. Server was attentive and friendly.
