I've been here a few times before and even thought staff isn't very friendly I kept going because of the lovely building, however this last incident had me quite puzzled. A charge of 20€ was added to our bill without us being informed by it at any point. Since having random unexplained charges isn't normal I didn't expect it and only noticed after paying the bill. My advice for whoever chooses to go here is, check your bon/receipt before paying the bill!

An excellent dinner on a busy Saturday evening. Relaxed and friendly service with English speaking staff who went out of their way to help. Food was delicious.

After we read google reviews we thought this would be the perfect places to have dinner. Unfortunately we can't speak Dutch, but English and German. The waitress seemed scared to talk to us. We had to ask 3 times for the menu only after 40min we finally received it. As we tried to translate the menu by Google it said "lawyer with something" which didn't make sense so we asked. The older waitress spoke German with us but wouldn't tell us what it was she just said use Google, very unfriendly. Then 1h30min later we finally received our food. The steak we asked for medium, was rear. The 3 fish of the day came with one small fries to share. In general the food was nice, but I'd definitely not go again.

Nice ambiente, rude staff which doesn’t speak English at all. We wanted to eat but where told it’s not possible while others who arrived five minutes later could order as much to eat as they wished.
