This is a miniature NYC Central Park but extremely nice with the small stream going through the park, adds some charm. On a Sunday you can expect a ton of people as almost all stores are closed. In summer this is the place to be!

way back, Munich was only this big, this is where it stopped. it's also a beautiful spot in the English Garden, perfect for all sorts of outdoor sports or just for a quick nap or tan. it's right next to Monopteros which is worth a visit too

Very beautiful location above the hilltop. You can view the entire park, and see the cathedral towers above the tree top. You can spend half a day in the park alone just explore if, or relaxing escape if forum the hectic city street.

Schöner Platz im Englischen Garten. It's a nice place, central in the Englisch Garden. You have a great view on Munich at this place. Chinese Tower beergarden is near, as well as the "Eisbach", and the "Schönfeldwiese", where (within the "Rondell" made out of sand, for the horse riders) you can sunbathe in the nude in summer.

The Burgfriedensäule, which translates to "Peace Column," was envisioned as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the collective will for harmony. Over the years, the Burgfriedensäule has witnessed countless seasons, as Munich blossomed and evolved around it. Visitors from near and far have come to marvel at its grandeur and to reflect upon the importance of unity in times of strife. Today, the Burgfriedensäule continues to stand tall, a symbol of peace and harmony amidst the bustling city and the tranquil oasis of the English Garden. It serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of Munich and a reminder that, despite the challenges faced, peace is an ideal worth striving for. As the sun sets over the English Garden, casting a warm glow upon the monument, one can't help but feel a sense of serenity and hope. The Burgfriedensäule remains a cherished treasure, a silent witness to the triumph of unity over discord, and a beacon of peace for generations to come.
