After getting lost in the Souk in Fez, a nice young man suggested we have a lunch at the Cinema Café. One of us is vegan, 2 are vegetarians and the other eats pretty much anything. This restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance is fun, there was a good choice of veg options. The local specialty, called pastilla, is usually made with chicken and almonds, but they had a vegan offering that was scrumptious and amazing, with a flaky crust and a savory seasoned veggie filling. The crispy falafels were the best we've tasted and the hummus was a creamy delicacy. The price was very reasonable. Absolutely recommend this fun restaurant, right at the entrance to the Souk. We were there on Feb 21, 2023.

We only had one day in Fes and wanted to stay close to our Riad. Cinema Cafe was a short walk away and our experience was beyond excellent! So good, that we not only had lunch there, but dinner and dessert as well 😄 They have a great variety of food, both traditional Morrocan dishes along with their own delicious spin on tacos, Italian dishes, burgers, and sandwiches. The service was wonderfully welcoming and the space has great cafe vibes of music, books, and chess. There prices are very reasonable (cash only). Our only regret was not being able to eat breakfast here 😊

They have kitchen all day long so that’s a plus! Not just Moroccan food but also European style. Great people, nice service, good food and clean. Recommended!

After a full day, sightseeing in Fès, we wanted to have dinner not too far away. Cinema café was very close to our Risd. We stopped in to ask if we needed reservations and the smiling young man said “oh no”, but then he said “but would you like one? So we made a reservation for three people at 7 o’clock. Then, other friends decided to join and we ended up first with a party of 9. The staff moved four tables so we could sit together. tables together. Then, two more friends showed up, and the staff moved all four tables to the other side of the dining room where another table was located so that we could be 11 people together at five tables in a row. I say this to give one example of how accommodating the staff at cinema café are. Beyond the nice wait staff, you should know about the food: Our group ordered many dishes, including tagines, couscous, both vegetarian and meat, fish, tacos, chicken sandwich, almond-fruit milkshakes, and everyone said their meal was delicious. Lastly, after the meal, part of the group left, and the staff realize that some of us were still talking. They encouraged us to stay and talk as long as we’d like to, even though we weren’t ordering anything more. We did and that was very nice. The restaurant only takes cash, and there is a tip container at the front desk as tips are not added automatically to the bill

Had the Minces meat "Taco". For me its a burrito. Its good, a little dry but comes with sauces and it is tastey on its own anyways. Good location. Street parking.

Fun cinema themed cafe. My wife and I enjoyed eating here midway through our trip in Morocco. The Cafe was a refreshing taste of home with a Moroccan twist. I enjoyed the falafel tacos.

Nice rooftop restaurant in Fes. We had pizza and it was good but not great. Maybe the Moroccan food would have been better. The staff were super friendly and it’s a chilled place to eat. I definitely recommend it.

First ever camel meat. The first time i heard about Camel Burger. If you are brave enough to try something new, go for their Camel Burger. It tastes great, has no weird taste, and has no weird smell, and it actually tastes better than beef. It's a small cafe restaurant. The staff is friendly. Their menu has choices to choose. It's a Western + Moroccan food. The restaurant is bright and clean. The price is inexpensive. They have a lot of food i would like to try again.

Our favorite eating spot in Fes! Whatever you chose, you won’t regret: couscouse, tagine, pizza or falafel, harrira soup, espresso…and my favorite Ginger Lamonade :)

Top notch, excellent experience by all measures. Extremely clean kitchen and restaurant, very hospitable staff, huge menu - everything prepared thoughtfully and is delicious, really strong English is spoken, they cater to tourists. Creative business... definitely have a meal, or more, here while in Fes. Mehdi, Yassine, and entire staff, thank you! Pictured... chicken couscous royal, camel burger with fries.

Great food, great service, clean bathroom and good wifi. The Gazpacho was delicious and perfectly cold on a hot Moroccan summer day. Enjoyed the beef couscous with cooked raisins as well - simply delicious! Plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The first thing we noticed when we entered Cinema Cafe was the kind personnel. They have a large selection of smoothies and juices. The food was satisfying. The kefta tajine, chicken couscous, and baba ganush were all delicious. Prices were reasonable, although I would have more chicken and less couscous on my dish for a few dollars extra. Kefta was pleasant, but it could have been better. Epic baba ganush gets two thumbs up!

Amazing cafe and definitely one of my favourites in all of Morocco. The food was great quality and at a great price. We had the beef tagine and falafels for dinner and they were both super tasty. Cannot recommend the Berber eggs for breakfast enough! The service was amazing and the kitchen was super hygienic. We’ve been here twice already!

The kefta tajine and Fassi tajine were both delicious and a good introduction to Moroccan cuisine for visitors. The crêpes were ok, the texture was definitely off but overall the presentation was great and they use plenty of toppings and filling for them.

We told our guide that we wanted an early dinner and he recommended cinema cafe. We were really pleased with the extensive spread which had starters, mains and desserts plus fresh juice and coffee/tea! The staff was genuinely friendly, warm and helpful. The place had a cosy ambience. Very convenient location from my Riad.

Food is delicious, the employees are very kind, my choice of drink: Lemon Ginger lemonade! So refreshing! Everything was amazing! All recommendation!

After reading all the great reviews and because this cafe is featured in one of our favorite travel guides we were expecting a lot. The 3 stars are for the exceptional service and cleanliness of the cafe. The food was sadly not good at all and the milkshakes were not thick and creamy but more like flavored milk.

Great place to eat in Fes! Went there twice during my time in the city. Good price, friendly staff and very good food!

Very friendly and great food. Our riad recommended for good western food (wraps with fries/pizza/crepes) as we didn’t want any more couscous. The waiters helped us get a taxi to the airport too which was very kind.

Delicious food and welcoming staff. We got ginger lemonade which was quite refreshing, and their camel burger was so tasty!

Best food in Fes. We visited here multiple times during our stay on Fes. Great food, service and hospitality. Ussef in particular was incredibly friendly. Definitely try the camel burger which comes with hand cut chips and great sauces too! They also do fresh orange juice and crepes.

We went here multiple times during our visit of Fes and absolutely loved it. The service, location and food were perfect. Especially if you want to eat something other than the typical moroccan food. Great vegetarian options, too!

The kitchen was closed for the staff to break fast as it was Ramadan, but they were happy to have us join them in the ifkar(?) buffet they had instead. The food was a nice variety and really tasty. Before we left we saw some regular dishes coming out of the kitchen and they all looked great. We'd eaten at another place in the Medina the night before that did similar food, but the quality and portions at Cinema Cafe were much bigger and better. Would 100% recommend over any other place we tried - be careful of the popular ones in the Medina

Staff were absolutely brilliant and we came a few times during our stay in Fes. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food was delicious and at a good price. On our last day, the staff were very happy to print off our boarding passes for us even though we weren't staying in their hotel. Very welcoming environment and would definitely recommend for some great orange juice and lunch!

We had beef tanjine and creme brulee. The tanjine is good enough but meat tenderness can be improved. Would come back for the Avocado shake and nice staff/service.

Good food and nice place. Best decision I made between other touristic restaurants.
