A great place to experience Colombia! There is an Encanto experience that was wonderful with spectacular views. Tons of places to shop and eat.

Magnificent place, chilled atmosphere even on weekends. I recommend climbing the mirador (tower) for exceptional views during good weather.

It is a taste of this land, it also has a great view and friendly people. There is great variety of flavors. There is many hotels. It's a city of open doors.

Another well protected town in Eje cafetero. After deviating from the Pereira-Armenia road, you continue on a concrete road for 25 minutes. There is a serious parking problem in the city center. The streets have turned into illegally operated parking lots. The area around Plaza de Bolivar is lively. Serious souvenir shops overlook the square. There is no good restaurant. It cannot be said that it is a serious cafe. Beside Mirador Ilumunada, the natural beauties around the city can be observed from another Mirador Encanto. the church located in Plaza de Bolivar, is iconic. Take a photo.

It is a very quiet town nearby Pereira. Lovely colorful houses and extremely friendly people. We stayed in Hotel Aaron, highly recommend.

Excellent, even though it is a family house which is remodeled to disconnect the second story from down stairs, the materials and quality of the venue looks pretty neat. No laundry machine, but it has an old school device for hand wash, a hanging pole above it, no patio for sun light drying, but the host let us place the wet t-shirts on the hand rail of his front tiny porch, and it made the job. The only downside of it is the location: to get to the main plaza of Finlandia, you need to climb all the way from the limits of the housing development. The good news is that there is no party around you, completely quiet. Mats on shower and toilet floors, electric shower, microwave, fridge, good mattresses on all beds, I would change the uncomfortable couch set for something better.

Amazing small town, beautiful views with many restaurants and coffee shops. Of visiting during holidays, plan your status and hostels with time as it tends to be super packed during these times!! Enjoy and welcome to filandia daughter of the Andes!

Filandia is a charming town like the young brother of Salento. But it is less commercial:) Enjoy a slow day in town and go to nearby Nalu Spa.

Beautiful town kinda of a tourist area ( maybe tree huggers), but well worth the drive. Homes were very colorful and residents very nice.

My dad's hometown, known as the daughter of the Andes, she lives in the mountains with the kindest and most colorful people! Come visit this beautiful corner of the world!! Try the panaderías for fresh baked breads, buñuelos, pandequeso, pan de bono, galletas, avena casera, Milo etc. Visit Pueblo Indio for an experience like no other (artesanal jewelry, bags, and beverages like viché). Walk around the park and stop for obleas (thin waffles with a caramel cream in the middle!) There's so much more, but you'll have to be here to experience it yourself!!

It's a cute village not much different from Salento. I don't see why visiting both. I was there for 3 hours and was already tired of going aroun. There is a lot of local turists. Plenty of places to indulge yourself to a cup of coffee, ice cream and some restaurants that gets packed at lunch time. I had a morning tea, lunch and coffee. I believe the main attraction is to watch people and walk your dog.

👍👍 Casual to upscale seafood place with pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with spa like music. They had about 5 different types of ceviches and the one I tried was delicious. We also had these breaded shrimp on top of fried plantains. So good! Service was just a little slow but we were not in a hurry.

👍👍 I was waiting for a nearby restaurant to open and stumbled into this gem. I went on a popular coffee tour at Ocaso in Salento and the coffee here at Mocafe is much better. And for the customer who wrote a bad review for them not willing to store their luggage and ruin their review? Come on! I h...

😠 Wow! what an epic disappointment! After seeing all the great reviews. The owner/guide was hungover and asleep, and sent a farm worker as his replacement, no one spoke English. At the end the owner, now awake, apologized, then left. He said the tour would be gratis as he was leaving, but failed to...
