A surprisingly enjoyable spot! The selection of fresh meats and cheeses does not disappoint! Which is common for the area. Excellent spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

It is a nice restaurant but service standard needs to be improved… Food wise, all were well prepared, although servicing was slow… maybe that’s why they served lots of breads to fill our stomach :-) Not cheap to dine here, we ordered 2 starters to share, 2 salads, 2 risotto, 1 burger & 1 more pasta plus some drinks…. Total bill was nearly Euro300… Overall experience was ok except the one irritating housefly that kept flying around us!

I spent just a little while in the Caffè dell’Oro. I ordered Aperol Spritz and it took a little while for me to be served therefore I was offered the drink for free. It came with set of delicious snacks! The service was amazing regardless the wait, the view was very nice. Next time I’m in Florence I’ll come in, this time for a meal 😊

Went there for a dinner with my girlfriend, we feeled cuddled as soon as we arrived. The dishes were prepared and executed in the best way possible, I absolutely adored the tartar! The service was very attentive and kind, the staff provided us with great explanations of dishes and smiles. Everything was absolutely perfect. Listen to the advice of the staff if you're a bit uncertain on what to eat, they have great knowledge of the menu and will organise a great experience for you. I absolutely loved the place, will be back soon. Obviously the ambience is unbelievable!

Chose this café because of it's sunny location, nice view of Ponte Vecchio and the elegant atmosphere but was very dissatisfied with the service, sat down and waited nearly 15 mins without any of the staff acknowledging our presence, no greeting, no look, no menù even though they passed us multiple times to serve other customers and were clearly not too busy, when we asked for a menù they straight up ignored us and walked away, so we left. Mind you I'm certainly not shabby in appearance in any way, quite the opposite and certainly don't have a problem with the pricing otherwise I wouldn't have chosen this establishment. Other people that sat down waited for a long time too. Don't waste your time here, there's many cafés in Florence with better atmosphere and service that will gladly have you.

Had breakfast here for three days in a row!! They have amazing bagels! They open relatively early and have a great buffet as well. We ordered from the menu and each day had something different to get a full overview of their menu. Totally recommended. Try the ginseng coffee it’s amazing!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. We have an unforgettable night that we had to come back the following day. First of all, all the staff were nice and welcoming to us and especially to our little Chiara, second the place is nice and has a great location and finally if you get a chance to eat there then you’ll have a wonderful experience. The dishes are very tasty and don’t hesitate to ask for the drink in the picture it’s delicious but unfortunately I can’t remember the name.

Had a fantastic lunch here! The portions are just right, and the beef burger is truly the best ever. Highly recommended 👌

Fortune smiled on us. Without a reservation, at 9 on a Wednesday evening we asked if there was a table for dinner. We were seated at a table for two near the front door, which managed to be both a "high traffic" area yet intimate at the same time. I don't believe there's a bad seat in the whole restaurant, and even if there was, it would be worth it for the food! The menu was a heavily Japanese-inspired Italian, which may be my new favorite fusion combo. We ordered an "orange" wine, the Mimesi Vermentino from Tenuta di Ghizzano. Apparently these wines are only available in this region and aged in terra cotta jars reviving an ancient tradition. Our waiter seemed concerned that the terra cotta would scare us off, but this turned out to pair amazingly with every dish we ordered. I'm not really a "wine person" but we felt it had the lightness of a white with the bite of a red. We'd get it again. We started with the steamed bun with pork belly--moist and juicy, the pickled radish and greens offset the sweetness of the meat perfectly. Having lived in Japan for over a decade, I've eaten a lot of sashimi. The hamachi with guacamole could proudly be served in any avant garde Tokyo sushi-ya. For entrees, we got the coconut, bacon, mozzarella ravioli and the duck. I don't know how to describe them any better than to say, when we were done, we had soaked up every last bit of sauce with the amazing assortment of bread in the basket. For dessert we got the tiramisu, which is apparently well known here, and did not disappoint. We also got a dark chocolate mousse egg dipped in gold and served over a coconut tapioca sauce. We were glad for the espresso to offset the rich sweetness. We may have been the last diners in the place that night and it will rank up there as one of our must memorable meals ever. Needless to say, we highly recommend Caffè dell'Oro.

There are so many great places to eat in Florence. Please avoid this pretentious establishment with their snobby wait staff. The food and beverage were way overpriced. The atmosphere was not comfortable or friendly at all. The management staff was conducting a loud business meeting directly behind us. They quickly brought our bill(a no no in Italy) without asking us if we'd like anything else. I don't think we were pretty enough or well dressed enough to waste their time on, yet the inside of the restaurant was empty and the patio had several empty tables

Lovely spot to enjoy the view on Ponte Vecchio, sun was shining and allowing us to rest in between museum stops. But, they do not allow you to sit on the free spot, you have to get up so they can call you in (we managed to sit on 3rd attempt!!). Very rude staff, no smiles, obvious categorising based on your looks and nationality. If you don't look posh, they don't want you. And then, after spending 1h there, they do not allow you to go to the toilet (as they don't recognise their customer?) Aperols for 18€ glass!

The worst service in my life! They are super mean to you, it takes 40 min to get a cup of coffee, they say “priority is given to the hotel guests” even though it’s cafe for everyone. They always try to make you feel cheap saying that “well, our guests paid 1000€ a night, so we will serve them and when we have time - serve you” Horrible experience! Never go there

Caffè dell'Oro is a great place to savor Italian cuisine, soak in the atmosphere of Florence, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Arno River. It's especially appealing for those looking to combine a dining experience with a view of the city's iconic landmarks. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Caffè dell'Oro during my trip to Florence, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cafe's elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The interior design seamlessly blends contemporary style with classic charm, creating a comfortable and sophisticated ambiance. I opted for a table on the terrace overlooking the Arno River, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The view of the river and the iconic Ponte Vecchio bridge bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun was absolutely breathtaking. The culinary journey at Caffè dell'Oro was equally impressive. I indulged in a delightful blend of traditional Tuscan and Italian flavors with a modern twist. From the perfectly prepared pasta dishes to the mouthwatering desserts, each bite was a culinary delight. The quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs truly shone through in every dish. To accompany my meal, I sampled a selection of cocktails and wines, and each one complemented the flavors of the food impeccably. The attentive and knowledgeable staff was more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. What truly sets Caffè dell'Oro apart is its historical significance and the sense of being part of Florence's rich cultural tapestry. The cafe's location along the Lungarno, with its centuries-old legacy of attracting artists and thinkers, adds a layer of enchantment to the dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner with a view, a leisurely brunch, or a memorable evening with live music, Caffè dell'Oro has it all. It's a place where culinary excellence meets Florence's timeless beauty, making it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring this enchanting city. My visit to Caffè dell'Oro was an absolute highlight of my trip, and I can't wait to return.

The outdoor atmosphere was great for breakfast! Enjoyed the view thoroughly! I would have to say you’re paying for the view here as the food portions are not super value for money and it taste just as normal as any cafe food!

Wonderful breakfast and excellent afternoon tea! Service is outstanding, and the staff is friendly and kind. The setting is really beautiful, too — modern but warm and inviting, the kind of place you want to sit back for a couple hours and relax! Great wine list, beautifully balanced cocktails, and a great selection of non-alcoholic options. Can’t wait to come back!

This was an easy lunch with friends. A proper portion of pasta with my favorite red shrimp from Mazzara (Sicily) and fresh pesto of greens. What could be better than that?

We were visiting from San Francisco for our honeymoon. We came for dinner and ordered the octopus appetizer, pasta, miso salmon main, and tirimasu dessert. Apart from the dessert we agreed that all dishes were tasty but nothing really wow'd us for a 1 Michelin star place. The tirimasu however did stand out as one of the best we've had on our trip.

Chris and Salvatore both were extremely good in choosing a perfect Passito for me. Meet Trentino Alto Adige, Moscato Rosè, highly recommended

Wonderful experience. Chef Antonio Minichiello is an artist. Words can't express how much I enjoyed the dinner. Ravioli have been great but the salmon is incredible and the Tagliata beyond any expectations. To finish, chocolate dessert can't be missed. Also great service by Miriam. I can't recommend it enough!

Great location. Attentive service. But not really the level of food quality I hope for at that price. Much better options in Firenze. But the location is hard to beat.

Awful!!! We went in for an espresso and a cocktail at around 5pm. The place was empty but the staff was incredibly condescending and rude. You would think we were vagabonds coming in off the street. The server made sure to let us know that the cafe was owned by the Ferragamo family (“are you familiar with Ferragamo?”…uh…yes we are). And to add insult to injury, the espresso was full of grounds. We found many lovely, welcoming places all around Firenze…don’t waste your time at this one.

We stopped here to have a light snack and take a break out of the sun and we were not disappointed. We all ordered a dessert which were spectacular in presentation and quality. If we had been staying in the area we would have definitely returned for dinner. Restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff are super friendly, highly recommend a visit while spending time in the beautiful city of Florence. 5* rating well deserved.

Went in for breakfast on my own and it’s not a good place for one person. I ordered poached eggs, which came with no toast (that’s right, 10€=2 eggs only, those are some pricey eggs!), the only option was to get a basket of croissants. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Come on, many of us love to travel alone or we get up before others in our group.

Extremely expensive (42 eur for two drinks and a still water). It is in a good location but I would likely not come here again.

We were there for dinner during our last day in Florence and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered the tartare di manzo, phenomenal! The sashimi di manzo, spectacular, and their tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Maria’s service was amazing and thoughtful, she even brought us a delicious chocolate dessert as we were in town for our honeymoon. Thank you so much!

After enjoying a lovely lunch here yesterday (also highly recommended) we opted to return for the breakfast which was available as a-la-carte as well as a buffet. Lovely peaceful location near the river with great quality food and attentive service.

A beautiful sunny spot to stop for drinks and watch the world go by. The view of the Ponte Vecchio is outstanding from here. We were served by the warm and friendly Blanca who despite her “I’m in training” badge was absolutely fabulous and more than capable. She gave us both recommendations for our chosen drinks (spot on based on what we told her!) and asked about us and our trip making us feel so welcome.

Decent food, lovely presentation, good wines. Only complaint was an unusual/unpleasant aroma on my cappuccino. Smelled like the water used in their dish washer was stagnant. Didn't push to get a new one.

First off, I'd like to share how amazing and personable Salvatore was. He not only made our anniversary special by being such a great host, he also provided the best wine and food recommendations that were just perfect. Second, the food??? Lights out. They had a salt and pepper shaker on the table, but only as decor I assume. Every bite of our experience was exceptional. Third, the room. Beautiful. A classic take on a lounge, which at first glance is casual, but elevated. But can adapt to your preference. The thoughtful detail glows, depending on what you're looking for. Finally, the view. Ponte Vecchio. Simply breathtaking. Special thank you to one of their new servers ( sorry, we forgot her name), who was on her 4th day, a bit nervous, but should be commended for her discourse and professionalism.
