So, I get my car back this morning from Garage Nazionale and this is the state they return it in; front left and rear left wheels completely destroyed with scuffs and both tires with big lumps out of them so they will also need to be replaced. The supposed manager of the garage (and interestingly the guy who picked the car up from the hotel as well as the guy who delivered it back) denies all knowledge and tries to make out that I was responsible for the damage. I went to look at the garage and there are scuff marks all over the walls where they clearly have done this sort of thing to other people's cars as well!! Its beyond me why the Mercure Firenze Centro are recommending their guests to use these jokers! Well, lets see how the garage like getting a bill enclosed with a letter from my solicitor!! Some people just have no respect for other people's property. Avoid these guys like the plague.

You have to leave your car keys. Very expensive. You aren't flexible cause they have to know in advance when you want to leave ^ THIS was my initial review. I still had my car with them. When I came to pick up my car the manager was: - screaming at me - telling me I'm a very bad person - saying I've never worked before All right in front of my girlfriend All because they can't handle criticism. I tried to give him my reasoning but he seems like he didn't accept any feedback which isn't a great view in any business. They were really unfriendly from the start. All the cars are really cramped in there to fit as much cars as possible. I also saw them struggle going uphill with my car almost crashing into another one. I truly hope someone else will manage this business soon. Instead I recommend 1 minute from here the carpark "Luna". Same price but way friendlier, and there is way more space inside.

Ideally located, not to expensive and close to the Mercato Central, easy to have a walk in Firenze. Nice team. They take care of your car and it’s better like this when you see how many vehicles they park in such a small place.

We left our car for a day, the rate depends on the type of the car, for Skoda Octavia it was 36€/day. The staff was nice. We were informed that the car would be moved somewhere else for the night and day and we had to provide a expected time when we will leave + had to leave our car keys there (which sounded sketchy, but everything went all right, even though we were a little nervous) - this also means that a little gas was used for this maneuver. This was the only minus, also the fact that you are not that flexible (eg if you forgot in the car and want to retrieve it quickly). But otherwise all was good 👍

Although they can speak “italian” English and are quite friendly the price for 4h was 24 euros which sounds a lot like rip off to me (6h per hour just for parking) Garage is very narrow so I wouldn't recommend it to SUVs or any larger vehicles.

We arrived there and were confused because they wanted to take our key. We just wanted some information about their parking garage because we were sceptical about the leave-your-key thing and immediately he was horrendiously unfriendly and rude and told us to drive away. Would defenitely not recommend! Stars: -10/5 very rude people

Very expensive parking (34Euro per Day) The guys there went on a trip (around 10km) with our sportscar through Florence and denied it.

They crash my car, and told me „ stupid tourist, back to your country”…. DO NOT USE THIS PARKING LOT….!!!!!

Even though I do not like to post public reviews, this one I felt compelled to write. First of all, there are some very obvious fake negative reviews here. Whoever wrote some of them did not even bother to fake it properly. There is one with a supposedly damaged car where the reviewer just cut and paste it under different name. Really??? Anyway, I parked a '23 Audi A5 in their garage for about 3 days. These guys were very courteous and professional. They even offered to put my car on the white list so I do not get a ticket for crossing into ZTL. Yes they do charge 1 euro, but the ZTL ticket is minimum 70 euros. So do the math. Since our hotel was close by, we walked past this garage few times a day. There were expensive cars going in and out. Too bad those people do not post their experience as well. Again, I had an awesome experience and am happy did not listen to some of those horrible fake negative reviews.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Don't park your car in this garage as you'll leave yourself at risk of receiving a violation fine from the Florence police. They clearly move your parked car to another site for the duration of your stay and whilst driving it incur fines which you then need to sort out. Avoid avoid avoid!!! A very expensive trip to Florence for us.

This garage is close to the city center. They charge 5 EUR an hour. You need to leave your car keys, because the guys constantly switch parked cars to make up for a very limited space in the garage. Do not go there with a large car!!!

This place was great in a pinch. Was driving around aimlessly at night and just drove in here because i did not know where to go. They helped me out with directions and left the car there for about 5 hours while we walked around. Total of 18 euros which i found out later on it was a steal compared to everywhere else.

Had a very unpleasant situation the other day. On the 20th we parked there for 48h, we had a small car and we had an agreement with the guy helping us to pay 24€ per day. When we came to take the car, they told us to pay 26€ per day and started literally screaming at us in italian, started arguing with a high tone. They were really rude and did not want even to listen us. Shame on you!!

People who working that, demaged my car, they laughing now with this situation…. Don’t LEAVE THERE YOUR CAR !!!!!!! They shows you the camera, that does not cover it……

Everything went great. Friendly staff. Parking cost 30 euros for 5.5 hours, which in my opinion is a reasonable price for downtown parking.
