A must have dining experience. The dress code for the waiters is all white navy. They have a section which extends into the water - beautiful ambience and views. If you get there early - say right when they open at noon till about 1 pm, you could get a seating there without a reservation. They do have an English menu - if you so desire. Highly recommend.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would ⭐️ I can’t even begin to express how much I love this place soooo much. The oysters are absolutely phenomenal — both the natural/fresh ones and the ones with toppings. Cooked perfectly. We also ordered some octopus, fish, and my favorite moqueca. They 💯 know how to cook their seafood to the perfect temperature where it melts in your mouth. So tender. The moqueca, which I am picky about because having lived in Bahia for a year, I know how the best tastes like and so far outside of Bahia they have lived up to the flavors. On top of having ridiculously delicious food, their staff are just THE BEST. Impeccable, high quality service right here. They know they get so busy as lines can go as far as having to wait over an hour for a table… but they never lower the quality of their service. Extremely attentive and best of all, extremely friendly and playful. It’s a whole package experience in here, you guys. You just can’t replace the experience here. I had a blast dining here and I will never forget it. Highly recommended. Don’t just come for the food, come for the experience 🥰 SHOUTOUT TO THE BEST — Maneca!!!

A friend who came here some time ago indicated it to us and I can say it definitely worth the visit. #tip: it’s located very closeting the airport, so if you arriving or leaving the city, it might a great stop before your flight. 👍🏼 The restaurant is fully themed with nautical ambiance, including even the waiters' uniforms. It’s very cool, comfortable and cozy. The service is good and quick. Besides all that, the high note of the place is the food: well served plates that definitely serves two people easily. Perfectly seasoned, balancing the flavors very well. We tasted a seafood risotto and fish in a sauce called “Peixe à Iemanjá”. Both excellent! The value truly worth it, but take in consideration that it’s expensive. If you like seafood, it’s for sure a great option!

Amazing setting. We were greeted very kindly by who I suspect was the manager. She explained their oyster farming procedure before taking us to the table. We ordered two dozen of oyster and our favorite was the one with brie cheese, mango and apple. The food took a bit too long for having a handful of tables and the waiters need to be a little bit more attentive. They forgot some of the things we requested and we often had to signal to get things.

Decent place. This was one of the best mouth-watering steaks I've had grace my taste buds in a long time. The waitress did an excellent job. There were a lot of interesting decorations on the walls. Make sure to save room for dessert, because that was the best part of the meal! Solid 4 stars. Amazing sunset.

Food is very good. The entrées take an hour to come out so make up your mind quick. These entrées that ‘serve two’ really are enough to feed at leastfour people unless each person can consume over 64 ounces of food at one time.The ambience/nautical theme is awesome!

Definitely a place to check out in Florianopolis, with a unique location and the possibility to taste oysters that have been recently fished right beside. Wine choice also very well fits the concept. Prices are definitely not high for a place like this!

Fresh oysters, specialty of the house, in various declination. Fishes looked promising too. On the other side, it is really highly priced compared to other similar restaurants in the island, you’d definitely pay for the costume of the waiters and the experience. Which is denied to you (pier was not accessible). Good experience though ! Worth an evening, not two! :)

I wasn't impressed and won't be back. The food was very bland. We ordered oysters and a bacon wrapped prawn with sugar cane sauce as an appetizer. After eating the appetizers we decided not to order anything else and go to Porto do Contrato down the street.

If you love oysters this is the premier destination for you! Oyster farms right outside the dining area and the food is delicious! The shrimp are huge!

The service is great and quick, staff are lovely too!!! The menu is amazing and you have large options of seafood, every time I go we always get the oysters!!! I’ll recommend the following options: Vinagrete, Do Mecánico and Ostras do príncipe (you won’t regret). Bruno the General Manager was very helpful when it comes to book a table, make sure you give them a call if you have any preferences. The value it’s truly worth it!!! If you like seafood, it’s for sure a grey option
