It’s ok. Actually a very busy beach so if you’re into that then it might be the right place for you. What’s great is the dunes sitting in the background. If you climb up you’ll get a very picturesque view of the beach! Also the rocks on the left side of the beach is a cool spot to check out !

Joaquina Beach was one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen it in Florianópolis! The sea was at the best temperature, with perfect waves, and the colour of the water was unbelievable! The coolest part was the excellent restaurants around serving the best drinks in the sandy or the restaurant! You won't regret visiting! Don't forget your sun protector!

Nice beach with breathtaking views, clear and clean water but it has big waves (perfect for surfers) anyway you can get into the water with extreme caution (I wouldn’t recommend it for children).

How can I describe this beautiful beach? It's a difficult task! The landscape, the sea , the sky...breathtaking! This is a must go place to admire!

My favourite beach in floripa. A super place to surf. It has some small rocks on the left side of the beach, a great place to watch the surfers. Good parking and the sand is super. And the restaurants i have tryed is good.

People are very nice and the beach is beautiful. Water is clean but sometimes the waves are strong. Plenty of gift shops and a few places to eat. You can enjoy and relax here for hours and not notice how long it's been.

If you're looking for obnoxiously loud music and people getting wasted all day, this is it. Otherwise go about 3km south to playa Rio Tavares for blissful paradise.
