As good as I remembered! Everything I've tried has been fresh and hot. I like that they offer sides like green beans, okra and mac and cheese instead of just fries, too. Fish plates are served with a big helping of cracklings which is nice. I don't remember Captain D's doing that before. Sweet tea is good, everything else is Pepsi, yuck. Also, it's nice to have somewhere other than Fish River that does real hush puppies and not frozen little balls of sadness from Sysco.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. Ordering was easy, the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was hot. My only complaint would be the menu. I understand not having the price listed as seafood tends to fluctuate constantly. Still, it would be easier for the customers and the staff to say give me a number one three-piece versus the menu option's name. That and the $3.30 I got charged for a large drink...woof. I haven't eaten at a Captain D's in decades and thought it strange one was opening here in foley, so close to the coast and local gulf seafood, but the place has been packed every day I drive home from work. So I finally decided to stop and see what all the fuss was about.

The food was hot and fresh. The crew does an excellent job at service and food! The gentleman at the cash register (Terry) was very professional and gave a great vibe which made the eating experience a wonderful one. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good seafood;)

Hate to call it fast food. It is always good. The staff is wonderful, courteous, professional and very helpful. The store is always clean. Thanks for providing a good meal at a great price!

Great Lobster platter, piping hot and served within 5 min of ordering. Now that's service with a smile!!

Finally made it here, I loved it, the food was great. Can't wait to go back and try the cream of potato soup!

This was some of the worst food I have ever seen. The only thing that was good was the okra. Portions were ridiculously small. Spent $52 and needed to stop for a burger on the way home. Gumbo was brown gravy with rice okra and undercooked shrimp. They were still white. I will not go back!!!
