Emergency appointment, within 3 hours, for significant discomfort in the right eye. After the reception, I decline the visit of the orthoptist, in fact I did not come for the sight, and I am received by a ophthalmologist. After consultation, she removes a single eyelash that I had in my eye and I leave 10 minutes later with a prescription for artificial tears. It turned out, the next day at the emergency room of the HCL de la Croix Rousse, that in reality I was suffering from viral conjunctivitis :(. What should we think of the diagnosis by the ophthalmologist at Ophtalys? The visit was billed more than 80€ (for 2 procedures??) with the vital card for 10 minutes of appointment, a bad diagnosis and fortunately I did not follow his advice to wait 3 days with a simple treatment of artificial tears .... If you have a problem with your eyes, other than a vision problem, flee this structure which should only be concerned with its financial performance.

Quick to get an appointment and yet we are always very well received by telephone, upon arrival and by all the professionals who receive us. It’s rare to have such good quality of service, and what’s more, without overcharging. I recommend !

Appointment with Dr. Cristina Calvo for an ophthalmology consultation. Taken before time (what a nice surprise and quite rare among doctors to emphasize this) Very friendly orthoptist, Ms. Calvo also very pleasant and professional. Very clean and welcoming center. I highly recommend !

Show up early as there is a long line at the reception, mind you they are often late any you have to wait anyways. The Doctors are great, it's clean and professional.

Went to this dentist when I broke a crown during my holiday. They told me they can't take me in as they only handle regular patients but luckily they had a cancelation and helped me out. I really appreciated the help and the dentist did an excellent job, saving my holiday. Thanks a million

Lies and negligence are common in this establishment. After a first assessment visit at the beginning of June 2022, the doctor confirmed a second visit. A few days before receiving it, I was contacted by phone to tell me that the doctor had left and that the visit would have to be changed. I was quickly hung up on. I call 10 to 15 times over the course of two weeks, but no one responds, not even to emails. I received no response until I filed a complaint. They tell me that the doctor has indeed left and that they are offering me an appointment for the end of July. When I go there, I spend two hours waiting until the receptionist calls me and tells me I'm not on the list. After several emails, I was told that due to a reception error, my name had not been added, and a doctor was asked if she could see me. She took care of me for 5 minutes and told me that it was better to continue the treatment in Spain (at no point had they started anything, they had only carried out an examination and determined that I had cavities) because the treatment was very expensive and took longer (I was leaving for Spain in a few weeks). I return to Spain and in December 2023 I receive a message saying I owe money and need to pay it.

I have been consulting for 2 years for ophthalmological follow-up and renewal of the prescription for my lenses. Appointments are made efficiently and lead times are short. The coordination of the orthoptist (for examinations) with the doctor is fluid. The welcome from the secretariat and doctors is pleasant.

Despite a good reception, I had to return 7 times for a simple cavity. Obviously the goal is to make you spit as much as possible. They say they called my mutual insurance company but in reality this is not the case, they wanted me to advance ALL the costs. Result: crown installation postponed for 2 weeks.

Not friendly, not very human. I live 1 hour from Lyon. My train was delayed so I arrived late for the appointment. The secretary was very rude to me. She called the dentist, Cecília Martins, who immediately said that she would not see me, without trying to understand the situation. I will never go see her again.
