We took my toddler daughter here to see the butterfly house. I found this place online and it seemed to have decent reviews so we thought this would be a good place for her to explore her new found love butterflies/moths. The admission fee for the 3 of us was 30.00 dollars. It didn’t seem super expensive. However, it was super expensive for the ridiculous 15 minutes you get to see the butterflies. It felt rushed and almost overwhelming with someone constantly standing over you. (I would like to add that my toddler was very well behaved.) Now, I could understand the 15 minute time frame if they were busy. However, they weren’t! It was just us three in the butterfly enclosure and when they said we had to leave for the next party.. it was ONE PERSON! I wasn’t very happy with the money I spent to be rushed along and then kicked out. There is a nice garden area you can walk though… however, it’s not in bloom right now so we just kinda felt like we wasted 30.00. I am giving it two stars because the front desk staff was pleasant and the gift shop was kinda cute. I don’t think we will be back. I will go down to the butterfly house closer to Denver for basically the same price. If you are looking for something very very simple and you don’t mind overpaying for being rushed this might be what you are looking for.

We enjoyed our time here, but for $50, not sure it was worth it. The gardens are nice, but I was expecting more flowers. There's a pathway that circumnavigates the gardens. The butterfly house was the best part. Interesting to see exotic varieties of butterflies.

Beautiful and colorful botanic garden with a nice gift shop. Convenient to DT Ft. Collins. Worthy of a stroll and a visit. Nice workshops and great concert offerings with plenty of outdoor seating on the lawn or walkways. A nice break when in FC.

The lights at Gardens on Spring Creek were beautiful. We had a great time waking the paths and enjoying all the light "sculptures". We took pictures with Santa and Mrs Claus and they were very friendly and patient with my little preschooler who wasn't sure what to think of Santa. Also, the cocoa for sale was a nice touch. It was wonderful to walk around with hot cocoa to keep our hands warm and the pricing was affordable. It was such a wonderful experience we all had such a good time and my little preschooler kept getting to go back for days afterwards. So much fun. The price for admission was a little high, but we really enjoyed the park so it made it worth it. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

We go here a few times a year in the spring and fall to see the beautiful plants and well manicured gardens, but this time we went for the Christmas lights and they are masterfully set up. Lots of lights, fun and interesting displays, and friendly staff.

See the lights! - The Gardens of Spring Creek is holding a garden of light display Friday, December 10 - Sunday, December 26, 2021, 5 - 9 p.m. each evening. This is an amazing activity for you, your date, or even a fun family night out. There's also a Cafe on site open during these hours. Can't recommend enough.

We went into the butterfly greenhouse and it was a blast. It’s small but there’s lots of butterflies and staff was so sweet and passionate:)

Wow! Never expected the Gardens on Spring Creek to be so delightful, complex and on a par with some of the country's most high-end botanic gardens. The planning and whimsy that went into the design and construction is top notch. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. The butterfly pavilion outshines several others we have experienced in other parts of the country and is home to butterflies collected from all over the country. And the plants inside the pavilion are as exotic as many of the butterflies, such as the amazing Bugle Plant which grows giant bugle-shaped flowers that grow upside down (see my pic). In July we go back with friends to attend one of many outdoor summer music concerts. The gift shop has many affordably priced unique garden-themed items made of glass, metal, and other media. 12 marvelous acres of wonderous sites and experiences including a rock garden and of course, Spring Creek which runs through the center of the garden. Bring the family. Bring the kids. Enjoy this gem.

Beautiful botanic gardens in all seasons. We visited as they were setting up pumpkins for their fall event. This is a very family friendly location. In addition to accessible concrete paths and beautiful plants there is an open section of lawn where you can set your kids out to run. The butterfly pavilion is small but quite pretty. Lots of butterflies and beautiful indoor plants.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding ceremony here in September. The venue is beautiful on its own and does not require a lot of decorations. Pricing was affordable and the event coordinators were very accommodating. They worked with me to get a permit for my food truck which was catering the event. They also take care of chair and table setup and take down which was a time saver. My guests loved the outdoor space and I received many compliments on it. I would absolutely recommend using this event space for future weddings/events. You won't regret it.

Beautiful place and very relaxing! I didn't take, and wasn't offered, a map when I arrived, but I think I managed to see everything. The paths kind of meander, which is lovely, but I do wish I'd had a map to be sure I didn't miss anything.

Don't expect the botanical gardens of Denver or even Cheyenne but it's a nice little garden and unlike Denver it doesn't take you all day to see with half a day to find parking. The butterfly enclosure was very cool and the guide inside seemed to know everything about all the different butterflies. The flowers outside were nice but I heard I came when they weren't in bloom so I didn't get to see it at its best.

A lovely, peaceful place to visit. If you can go when there is a volunteer guide it is well worth it, mine was really a fountain of knowledge, without being boring! Make sure to also visit the butterfly House, it's fantastic!

Love this hometown garden. So much to see and admire packed into this garden. The children’s area is super cute—even for adults. Go in the morning when the temps are cooler or be sure to bring a hat.

We went there to visit the butterfly house, not many species, but still worth a visit just to look at the tropical climate, little forest enclosure. Is the middle of Springs, so not many plants, but good enough to have witnessed some beautiful flowers, e.g. tulips & daffodils. A trip worthy if you do like to walk around a nice garden.

I had no idea how extensive the gardens are or that there is an amphitheater and butterfly house. The butterfly house is really fun! The docent was very knowledgeable and attentive to my toddler. The gardens are beautiful and exploding with color, especially with all the rain we've had this June. The only reason I didn't give the rating 5 stars is because some of the plant signage is lacking. Highly recommend! It would also be the perfect place to hold an outdoor wedding.

A small botanic garden but enjoyable. Various themed gardens. A butterfly garden, too. But your time inside is limited although you can return. Maybe a bit more thought to shade for the benches?

What a beautiful little garden, with tons of treats inside, and some of the most passionate, helpful and smiling volunteer staff I have ever come across! The Butterfly garden is small but stunning! We had an amazing time enjoying all the flowers, fruits, vegetables, sculptures spread all across the gardens.

Wow, they did such a great job. So many artistic and creative displays! Im going back to see it again in the daylight. Great music selection playing throughout added to festivity. Childrens activities and attractions were well thought out. Food trucks were a plus. New patio table area on north side fulfills a much needed seating location.

We had a wonderful time walking through the garden of lights for Christmas! However from what I had read it was supposed to be a "suggested donation of $5/adult". We got there and we HAD to buy tickets at $10/ adult! I understand it was Christmas eve and they had to pay their workers but I'm lucky was son was able to cover the admission for our family or I would have felt so bad and been so embarrassed because I wouldn't have been able to pay the $80 to get us in (it was my invite and idea to go). I was prepared to do the 5 but they should not say donation based admission if it really isn't a donation as it isn't optional it is an admission.

An end of winter day spent mostly in the butterfly pavilion because the garden side has not come to life from its winter slumber. Just the experience of the pavilion was worth the price of admission in my opinion and was an experience I will never forget. It is beautiful to see all the butterflies flying about and learning about the blue dots under their wings. Definitely will return to see the garden in full bloom.
