Green Acres is a staple in the Fort Erie area. The food tasted like it came right from moms kitchen. It’s very welcoming and comforting inside. The prices are extremely fair and the food is fantastic.

Family owned business for over 60 years. Established in 1961. Corner of Green Acres Drive and Garrison Road in Fort Erie. Like to support family owned restaurants when I'm traveling. Found them on Google with a 4.5 star. Great healthy home meal cooking. They have three daily specials, I went with the chicken pot pie. People seated beside me ordered the beef dip, quite the portion. Will give that a try next time. At the time of visit, this seems like a favorite gathering hole for the local seniors.

I have been going to Green Acres for many years. Always very happy with the food and service. Our fist time back since the pandemic. I ordered the roast beef on a bun. My daughter ordered the fish and chips, paid extra for the smallest, salad I have ever seen. No roll, no coleslaw. The waiter over charged me, almost 4 dollars, he claimed that his math was off. Good thing I checked the bill before paying. Worst experience, so disappointed. Waste of time and money.

This is what a medium buffalo chicken sub, with blue cheese looks like. When I called the women said "oh I'm sorry, I never wrote that down" drive 10 mins each way to get a quick meal on a Sunday evening. The resolution was for us to drive back for a side of medium buffalo sauce, and just pour it on our cold subs. Thank you for all you help. We have ate here 100s of times over the past 39 years.

My family and I went there for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it. Not only was the food amazing, with huge portions, the staff was really nice and the vibe of the restaurant was so cool. We will definitely be back in the future and I highly recommend. Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner 😊

Just as it has always been, the food was great and they even served gluten-free gravy so I could enjoy a roast beef dinner. The portions were predictably generous. Over many years we have had so many special family dinners at this restaurant. It always brings back wonderful memories.

Dropped in because of a recommendation. You can easily miss this old style Canadian family restaurant but you shouldn't!! Great fish and chips!

Great food! Love the new floors. They really give the restaurant a clean look. They just need to reduce the clutter on the shelves in every room and the tiki palms that must be a health hazard. They serve amazing fish and chips so go on Fridays for fish specials. Roast beef and turkey are both fresh roasted and really delicious. My husband really likes the breaded shrimp which were quite large. Will definitely be back!

Best fish and chips, other foods are great as week. Huge portions for a decent price. U think its mostly family that work there but that makes it nicer. Could use some updating when it comes to the decor

This restaurant is usually very good and this why I still gave three stars. Had my recent experience been the first time I was there I would have rated it 1. We ordered the open face turkey sandwich and while the portions are large we were barely able to eat any of it. The mashed potatoes were from a box and cold. The stuffing also was cold and almost rubbery. The turkey was lukewarm and the bread beneath the same. Our waitress was definitely pleasant but by the time she came back to check on us even the turkey was cold. She offered to put our plates in the microwave but we didn't feel comfortable doing that after we had tasted it. Seems unsanitary. I know she showed the food to the owner but the owner never asked or mentioned anything about it when we paid the bill. Unusual because she always asked if everything was OK on our previous visits. It would have been nice if she offered an apology or even acknowledged the poor food. A discount would have been in order or an offer to replace the dinner without microwaving it. I can microwave at home for a lot less. Left hungry :( lesson learned.

This restaurant having been around for many years, is very consistent in the food that is served. They give large portions, and the prices are reasonable. The fries are frozen fries, so if you like fresh cut fries, they don't have those, but there are options for mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, and vegetables The soups are good too! I was there recently and had a Chicken Parm Sandwich and it was fresh homemade breaded Chicken Breast on a really good bun. I had the loaded potato soup with it. I really enjoyed it! Service is very good, even when they are busy. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys a home cooking style meal!
