I stayed for one night while moving to Yukon. It was very clean and friendly for the price, and the entrance and parking were very convenient. And the wifi is so good.

This is the absolute worst place I have ever stayed. I stayed there because they allow dogs and I prefer to be able to just walk my dog directly into my room and not through the lobby. There was hair on the bathroom wall that had just been painted over. When I moved the microwave to wipe off the counter before I left there was old food that was definitely not from me meaning they hadn’t even throughly cleaned the counter for a while. When we were checking out the owner actually checked the sheets on the bed before he would give us back our damage deposit. We were also charged an extra $50 for a room door card. The owner uses women from the Orient who are working for room and board. I guess they get to experience Canada but I’m not sure this is legal. Overall just a terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone stay at this dump.

Family run business. Amazing staff. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

Well I have to say. It has certainly never been a dull moment people are great staff are good, I seem to fit right in. Its like watching a reality show and I'm in it. I would definitely stay again.

The motel is in the perfect location, the room was perfect, the service was great and for the price I garentee you will not find better!

Stayed there for just over 6 weeks. Had 2 hot showers in that time, and had to leave the oven on to heat the room. I don't recommend, and will never stay there again.

I would not recommend this motel to anyone. I would rather sleep in my car or the airport than stay here. I arrived at the motel, took one look at the room - the condition and the black/navy semi-clean linens- and decided sleeping at the airport was more safe, clean and appealing. The dead bolt on the door did not work and no flip lock either. The room was ground floor, curtains did not close properly. It felt unclean and unsafe.

Stayed for about a month and enjoyed my stay. The owners were very polite and accommodating and the rooms were well kept and clean and the morning breakfast was a nice touch too. If I ever needed to stay at a motel in Fort St John again, I would definitely pick this one.

The hotel is old and in need of upgrade/repairs. We visited in winter, and the walls are all cinder block - it was cold. The window-mounted air conditioner unit didn't help, and the drapes didn't keep out much of the cold air. Neither did the door, as we could see daylight around it. The shower was nice and hot, which was good because the room heater was not. The TV also didn't work, and the WiFi was unreliable at best. We left a little before 8:00 in the morning, and the Coffee that was to be served with the continental (cold cereal) breakfast hadn't yet been made.

what a dump. the owners are really nice, but have a different standard of cleanliness. its cheap but the owner always tries to grind you on price, and he also turns the heaters off to save a nickel.my room smelt like sewage. mold is present. the tradesmen working in the place are clearly bottom of the barrel. you can do better.

The rooms were clean, everything was great given the price point. The owner has the kindest soul, and went out of his way several times to accommodate our large group, as well as even cooking for us with his wife. The service was amazing!

Fantastic place to stay, thanks to some great owners that treat guests so well. The rooms are lovely, each one with its own character, and the service is excellent. We were served Korean pancakes made from scratch on the spot for free after a long day of treeplanting. They really go the extra mile!

What a @#$* hole this place is. There is literally any other place in fsj that would be better...even sleeping outside. The pictures online do NOT look like the actual rooms. RUN AWAY DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! How can you support a business where the owner clearly doesn't. That whole motel needs to be torn down and never spoken of again. The Howard Johnson, The Pomeroy, Ramada just a few others to check out instead

This is a family run motel that is an absolute pleasure to stay at. Very comfortable place to stay at on the way to Alaska. There is a fireplace in the reception which gave a nice ambience to the place. The rooms were clean, what more can you ask for. The owner and his wife was very welcoming to my family and I. I highly recommend.
