I love this practice! My hygienist, Sam, explained every step to me in detail, and is a dental Sherlock Holmes—she could tell if had a bonded retainer years ago, and found and fixed an issue with a procedure from another practice! Dr. Hunter was extremely empathetic as well. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor was genuinely concerned, and I felt very listened to and included in my treatment options. The team are also very respectful and professional with each other. I’m so glad to have found a new dentist; I will be recommending this practice to everyone!

I came in for a cleaning today, as well as some X-rays! Sam was so thorough, and very nice. I really felt like she was dedicating a lot of time to making my cleaning the best it could be, which was no easy feat, because I hadn’t been to a dentist since early 2022! The overall process was as painless as could be, and I was able to get my next treatments scheduled with ease. Sam and Dr. Hunter answered all of my questions and took the time to explain what was happening with my teeth and gums. They even helped me correct how I was brushing and flossing as well, which is so important! It really felt like they were invested in my dental health. I recently moved to Northern Kentucky and my partner recommended Highland Family Dental. I was able to make an appointment within 2 weeks and Abby ensured that I had all of my insurance and paperwork complete before I even stepped in the door, saving me time and stress that morning. Samantha is my hygienist and was so kind and professional! She took x-rays and selfies of my teeth and then pulled them up on the big screen so she could show me what she was seeing. She was patient and used laymen’s terms when explaining the process and made everything comfortable. Highly recommend seeing Dr Hunter and her team.
