The Vietnamese food here was decent, but subpar for my personal standards. The tastes here are not as authentic but the portions were fair and service was a good given lunch rush. Visited at noon on a Monday. The portions were of a decent size and was surprised for the price. Was recommended the pork option from the Bun and was decent. The pickled carrots and daikon were cut very thick isn't super traditional. The eggs rolls were veggie, but dang crispy. Fish sauce was pretty good. I'd go here again if I was craving some well-priced Vietnamese food in the area.

Fast, friendly service. The menu is fairly simple and straightforward, but it's all so good! The portions are large and I always have leftovers. Try their Boba tea options, too. My favorite is Thai tea. They have plenty of seating (smaller tables) but it does fill up quickly during the lunch hour.

We come to this spot often for the quick friendly service and quality fresh ingredients. My regular go-to order is: 1. Chicken Banh Mi sandwich (which is amazing and 5/5 🌟) 2. Vietnamese coffee ( 5/5 🌟) This day I decided to order new dishes: 3. Chicken rice plate - the chicken was prepared well and had great flavors. The vegetables were also crunchy and delicious. If the rice had been hot this dish would have been better. 5/5 🌟 - upgrading this as the rice was hot and it was even better the second time. 4. Matcha Boba tea - I have tried to like Boba and it's not for me 5. Fried spring rolls - these were delicious and prepared well. The sauce that accompanies these added to the tastiness. (4.5/5 🌟) Saigon is a favorite and would recommend it!

The menu is very simple. The service is very quick. We had Beef Pho, Fried Spring Roll, and ice thai coffee. They tasted so good.

I decided to try Saigon Subs and Rolls after reading good reviews, however, I was very disappointed. I order the vermicelli or ‘bun’ as they call it - not authentic; typically the pork is grilled - the pork was coated in some sort of breading - 75% of the meal was lettuce; if you’ve ever been to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, you will know they typically load up on the noodles - barely enough fish sauce for the rice - there were maybe 5 pieces of pork (see picture) Would not recommend

Love the tofu banh mi! Have tried all their banh mi selections but settled on the tofu version now. Always need to get a side of goi cuon or cha gio. Both are so good. I’m picky about my pho and the soup is too sweet here. But the other dishes make up for that!

I was downtown walking around and it was chilly so when I saw a pho place I had to stop in. It was only $10 which is super reasonable for pho. It was amazing! The broth was rich and flavorful and everything tasted great. It was the perfect lunch on a cold day.

Get there before noon because there is a crowd. They are quick to prepare the food and it is amazing. Lots of food for the price.

Their food is good. Their broth for the pho is probably the best in downtown Cincinnati. My only complaint is they sometimes don't shut down their online order system or update their Google map status when they are closed during their regular business hours.

Delicious, quick, fresh, and flavorful food served by a very courteous staff. The beef bahn mi is hearty size and well made! My vegetarian companion was impressed at the flavors in the tofu as well. Hard to beat for $6.50

A Vietnamese restaurant with a limited menu, which in my opinion, is a good thing. The pho soup was very beefy and delicious. The beef banh mi was good but the meat was too thick so it becomes dry after cooking. More like a beef jerky banh mi instead. The spring rolls were good and very fresh but I think they forgot the pork. The egg rolls were tasty but they microwaved it to heat it up so it was not crunchy. Cheaper then most Vietnamese restaurants in the neighborhood

I had a great lunch today before a meeting. The food was delicious and special things like homemade fish sauce really put the meal over the top.

Seriously loved this place. I have never had such authentic, delicious bahn mi, and I know since I lived in Vietnam for a month. The atmosphere is fresh and upbeat. The food comes out pretty quickly as well. Really enjoyed this place! Highly recommend!

Delicious food and efficient service!!! I’ve had Banh Mi, Pho, Bun (rice noodles), Com (rice) and love all of them! It is impressive how their foods satisfy the taste of diverse customers, including picky Vietnamese (hey, it’s me) who seek authentic home taste, and those who simply want to try (and eventually fall in love with) Viet food. 😊 When the line is short (typically before 12), it can take them only a few minutes to make the food. When it’s extremely busy, I’ve never waited over 15 minutes if I order in store. You can also order online and come pick up.

One of my daughters' favorite pho places (Cilantro) closed recently, so we continue our quest for good pho. Having been to Vietnam numerous times, our bar is pretty high. So we kept our fingers crossed when we came across Saigon Subs and rolls. The place is small, inviting and clean, located on the west side of 4th street downtown. My daughter and I had the Chicken Pho and did enjoy it. It had everything you would come to hope for in good pho, including the veggie adds (cilantro, fresh mint, bean sprouts etc). I wish I could give it a 5 star rating but the taste was not as good as I'd hoped. And it seemed a bit "oily" in the broth. I did make it better by adding some of the sides but it stilled lacked a bit. I will go back and try it again and add a bahn mi next time and will update my review.

If you have never had a Bahn Mi you are missing out on a great sandwich (and this is the "subs" part of their name). They also have great Pho etc. If you work downtown and you haven't tried this place you really should push your coworkers to give it a try you will not be disappointed.

We stopped for carry out on our way through. The restaurant seems very clean and spacious. Service was excellent and our large order was efficiently put together and packed neatly. We ordered all the bahn mi and all were very good. The chicken was surprisingly the least favorite. The pork was the most liked. We also ordered the rice and vermicelli entrees and those were also very good. The teas are eclectic and pretty good too. We stop for bahn mis everywhere we travel and this was a great find. Kudos to you all SSR!

The best Pho in town! Very happy customer.

The Pho was surprisingly good. Very developed flavor and less strained broth than you normally see. It was more oily than normal and I liked that. I ordered extra meat but I’m almost sure I didn’t receive extra meat. Good spring rolls, very average, not tightly rolled, but good.

Consistently good over the years when I’m downtown. Inefficient pickup system is frustrating — arrived at 12:15 for my 12:15 order but was made to wait in line for 15mins with my order sitting there before I could pay for it and be on my way. Please revisit this method. EDIT: Just order ahead for 10mins of when you get there for the rush. Giving back the fifth star :)

The pho is excellent. The service is very fast. There is limited seating, but I've always found a place to sit. You serve yourself water and bus your table, but I am happy to do that for the speed and quality at a reasonable price.
