I was dying for a "real" turkey sandwich and happened upon this gem in the neighborhood where I grew up. The sliced turkey was so moist and flavorful that I dont think I'll want turkey any other way. The bread was toasted to perfection with a wonderful chew. I topped mine with pickled onions. This was a masterfully elevated sandwich. I also got a side of the potato salad. Wonderfully fresh dill and a perfect mayonnaise ratio. A gourmet meal at a great price point. Thoroughly satisfied 😌

I got food from here the other day and it was delicious! The inside was super cute and I wish I could have dinned in instead of getting take out. The staff was friendly when I called to place my order and had my food ready on time. I got the smoked turkey sandwich and black bean soup which were both great! A few areas I think they could improve in: -I think they need a better combo or mix and match option for soup/salad/sandwich on their menu. I would each there all the time if I could get 2 of those things for $10 or under. Spending $16 for a sandwich and soup was a splurge for me and I won’t be making it one of my go to restaurants for that reason. -I really think you should get a pickle with your sandwich if the name of the restaurant is the pickled pig ;) it would be a nice touch and be more memorable

Pickled Pig made my 40th bday awesome! Had a huge order of brisket, mac&cheese, corn pudding, braised greens, and veggie sandwiches. All of it was delicious but the brisket was really something special. Everyone loved the food and we've been enjoying the few leftovers too! Thanks so much for making the party great!

Great restaurant that started off pickling things. Now, they make dishes with said pickled things. Friendly staff that gives you samples of things to taste. They rotate specialty items like a porchetta sandwich, monthly, so it's good to drop in now and again!

The Pickled Pig in Walnut Hills is one of my favorite recent finds. The small deli specializes in smoked meats and fermented/pickled sides. Orders are placed at the counter and the menu focuses on sandwiches and deli-style salads. For lunch, I decided to try the smoked turkey sandwich ($12) topped with sauerkraut, tomme (a French/Swiss cheese), and Russian dressing on sourdough rye, a sort of turkey Reuben. I really enjoyed this sandwich with its piled high delightfully smoky turkey. The bread was also outstanding! On the side, I had their Korean carrots (a $3 add-on to the sandwich), a sweet and sour pickled delight. They also have potato salad, beet & apple salad, chicken salad, egg salad, hummus, and more. If the Pickled Pig were closer to my house it would definitely be in my weekly rotation for lunch. But even so, I will have to remember to stop in again for more delicious food.

I love their black bean soup. The pickle plate was a great side. So much to eat while honoring my gluten free existence.

An absolutely adorable place that makes you feel at home. Met a friend for lunch and had pork burgers with Kimchi and goat cheese. Crazy delicious!! The owners are so friendly and down to earth. They also have outdoor seating. Just a lovely place!

Made a stop here after arriving from Seattle. It's a restaurant created by sandwich-lovers so you can rest assured that the ingredients in each sandwich or burger was carefully selected and made from scratch. They butcher and process their own meats which was evident in the flavorful and moist patties of our burgers. I recommend the pork burger if it's your first time. Worth a time to visit for a meal and a chat with the owner Gary!

Kind and attentive staff. The outdoor space is a hidden gem decorated with beautiful flowers and the glimpse of downtown. All the food we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The one item that blew my mind was the Black Bean Soup - literally the BEST that I’ve ever had in my entire life… and it’s Vegan (which makes it even more impressive).

Good place to get a salad or sandwich. The pulled pork was really good, but needed a sauce. The veggie sandwich was absolutely delicious for what was on it, but there just wasn't much. Seemed more like bread with a spread on it and a thin layer of cucumber slices than an actual sandwich. Definitely not enough to make a filling meal and overpriced. Otherwise tho the potato salad was really good

Delicious! I had the Korean carrots and grilled cheese. Always winners. The carrots are seriously one the best things I've ever tasted! Staff is always friendly. Space is welcoming and cool, if you know what I mean?! Highly recommend!

Truly amazing!!! I travel all over the US for work and am a huge fan of sandwiches always looking for cool or unique places. The turkey was so moist, such amazing smoky flavor! The bread was toasted perfectly and so flavorful with the pickled cabbage as the perfect pairing to bring it all together!! I will be back again on my next trip!!

I loved pickled pig! I called today to see if they had any kimchi pickles available at the store. They did not have any packaged up, but noticed how much I wanted the pickles and offered to take time out of their day to package me up some! All of their products are delicious and quality is through the roof. I recommend them if you are looking for a BBQ or pickle fix!

Great little place! Went there for supper on a recommendation from a business owner located on McMillan St. Had a great sandwich and bought two jars of their pickled treats. It was all great!.... not cheap!... but fantastic flavor.

Ordered the turkey with Sauerkraut, didn't realized it had cheese on it. Told the girl about the cheese and she gave me attitude and asked if I wanted it remade. I walked out. don't waste your money on a $13 skinny sandwich.

Unique variety of food to choose from. Especially if you are a pork lover. Try out the pork burger or chicken salad sandwich with some kimchi. Enjoy 😉!

It was my and my wife’s first time there. The food was amazing but the service was not friendly. It felt like she was being bothered. I walk by the display case and thought about buying something but the cashier was on her phone. Customer service can be hard.. but perk up. We were friendly and you lost our business.

We took a day trip from Columbus to Cincinnati and between the art museum and jungle Jim's decided we should eat before wandering a grocery store. We picked the pickled pig at random because it was near by and we're NOT disappointed. We started with the pickle boat (the pickled egg and apples were definite highlights.) And had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the pork burger. Both were phenomenal. Everything was super fresh, and we'll seasoned. The Thai basil was a perfect counterpoint to the tenderloin and the kimchi on the burger was some of the freshest, best kimchi I've ever had outside of Korea. We got fig tarts to go (made with fresh figs from chefs garden!) As well. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it'll be just as amazing. Service was super friendly, and we really dug the homestyle feel of the place. We will definitely be back and rec it to anyone we know coming to the area!

We came here on a whim and my god were we unprepared. Everything was so fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. We were so pleasantly surprised with just how good the pairings on the menu went. We tried the pork burger, the chopped pork tenderloin (the day's special), and the pickle boat. Everything was so good we left with a bag full of snacks. We'll certainly be back!

Authentic Home-Pickled Veggies + Delicious Wood-Smoked Meats. The Pickled Boat featured a wonderfully mild pickled egg and three unique pickeld vegetables: on this day we were served ever-so-slightly spicy radishes, lightly curried carrots, and star anise sauerkraut. We loved the smoked turkey sandwich, which comes topped with mild sauerkraut and melty tomme cheese on a fabulous foundation of sourdough rye. Best deli sandwich and accompaniments in 5+ years. Bravo!

A fantastic blend of vegetarian options and smoked meat. Porkstrami sammich, pumpkin chili and korean carrots. I have not enjoyed a meal this good in quite a while. Staff friendly and embraced a newbie with suggestions. I tried each of his suggestions and they were spot on.

I was looking for new restaurants to try near where I work in Walnut Hill and spotted the Pickled Pig. I love bbq and pickled foods so I had to try it. The pickled foods are Great! The kimchi, sauerkraut, and pickles I've tried are really delicious. The kimchi is the best I've been able to buy anywhere. I've also tried some of the sandwiches. Very good, very messy, but we'll worth it. The staff and owner are the nicest. All of them take the time to answer your questions and provide great service. I'll be heading back soon. I'm almost out of kimchi!

Beautiful little gem of a place. We loved the kimchi buffalo wings, pork burger with kimchi (delightfully bright and salty with a perfect, warming heat), and the pickled carrot salad. And we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
