Awesome burgers that I highly recommend to those in search of a great burger in Cincy! . Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Double Zip Burger with cheese was perfectly cooked and one that is hard to put down due to being so juicy!

A little pricey these days but an excellent burger in a rustic setting. Excellent service. You should go.

They’ve increased the prices pretty significantly, but it’s still one of my favorite places to go. The chili and burgers are fantastic and fries perfect crispness in an old “hole in the wall” that has been preserved for a step back to a simpler time. The community tables lead to fun conversations with strangers or a booth tucked out of the way. Love the trains circling up top. I’ve been going there for 30 years and is a must stop whenever I’m home

A Cincinnati classic in Mt. Lookout on the square. Famous for their burgers, chili, and, of course, the train. Nice little bar tucked away. Be patient, as seating is limited but your patience will be rewarded.

Great place to eat burgers and chili while watching a model trail run about the place. Cincinnati is known for chili, so grab some of the chili here with jalapenos and cheese on top. The atmosphere has a nice bar-ish old-school feel to it. The prices are somewhat high, and none of the burgers or sandwiches come with any sides. Parking is also rough. There are some parking meters and some side streets you can try to get lucky on. Otherwise, there is no dedicated parking.

Cincinnati tradition. Food is consistently delicious. I’m stuck on the Zipburger with cheese and fries. It’s crazy busy on the weekends.

Phenomenal. Even the small things like Cole slaw were delicious. This place feels like Cincinnati and that’s a great thing. Food is excellent and the atmosphere feels homey

Fantastic Burgers, Onion Rings, and Chili Cheese Fries. Food was great atmosphere was fun. Just seemed like our server didn't want to be there and could have smiled a little more.

I've been coming here for 20+ years. The only thing on the menu that has ever changed is the beer selection. Might be the best cheese melt on a burger in the city

Awesome place, awesome service and awesome food... Est. 1926..almost 100 years of continuous service in the same location. If you're in Cinci is a must stop for burger lovers..!!!

Zip's is on every list of best burgers in Cincinnati. We had to try it for ourselves. My husband ordered the Girth burger with cheese, and I had the Zip burger with cheese. Burgers were cooked well and were very juicy. We also split a chili cheese fry(yum!). The food was all very good, but we thought it was expensive for the portions. The biggest downfall (and what would prevent us from returning in the future) is the atmosphere here. There is no hostess, and it is first come, first served. The dining room is very small, with no real waiting area. We were unfortunate to get a table near the door, so we were surrounded by people hovering over our table the entire time we were seated. We even had someone reach across our table to grab a menu! The other drawback is parking. It is on street parking and depending on the time of day, you may have to park up the road a ways. Zip's is worth a visit, but I recommend going at an off time during the week for smaller crowds and better parking.

This is a fun local spot! Seating is first come, first serve. There's no host so you just have to stand around and wait for a table to open up. It felt awkward, but I guess that's normal to regulars. Cozy atmosphere. Good food. Good prices. I love supporting local!

Quiet place midweek 4pm. Meter parking with other options if you wanted to walk. I remember this place as pretty good but, it fell little short. I ordered Zip cheeseburger and Fries. Maker's and coke. Food came out quickly. Fries were very good crisp hot. Not salted so added some. Burger was average nothing special. Drink was good and better than expected. Cost was almost 25 with tip. Nice place but would not go out of my way to eat here. The 8.50 double cheese burger is now almost 15.00. other options but limited menu.

Went to Zips as recommended by a facebook group. It was delicious! The chili was mild and slightly sweet, which was a great balanced flavor for me. The burger was juicy and hit the spot on this cold evening, with a nicely toasted bun. Great spot!

The place to go if you want a great hamburger! And the shoestring fries are the best. Friendly servers and a unique atmosphere, including a model railroad running around the dining room. You'll have to look long and hard to find a better burger than Zips.

Zip's has been around for quite a while, and for good reason. The food is simple, affordable, and tastes good. The menu is small, as is the dining room. Not much has changed nor does it need to. You're likely going to be sitting very close to the other tables around you, but everyone is respectful of space. The burgers are very tasty as are the fries. It comes out hot and fresh as well. Once you've finished eating it's not a place to relax and chat - there are likely people waiting to take your spot.

Went there for dinner. We had an o.k. meal of burgers. They weren't extremely special. There were two people as servers for the evening. Let's say three would have been better. The wait for food was a little much. Also, the restaurant was extremely cold. Froze the entire time we were in there.

It's a cool place to go if you've never been. The burgers are good. I ordered the hot ham & cheese and it was very tasty. It's kid friendly.

We recently moved to Cincinnati and have had so many people tell us to go to Zip's for the best greasy burger around. We finally went and it did not disappoint! We sat at the bar and the bartender, you could tell, has been working there for a long time. He welcomed us to Cincinnati and answered any questions we had. We ordered some beers, I got a Zip burger, my fiancé got a double zip burger, and we shared an order of fries. Everything was incredible!! The double burger was so big that my fiancé struggled to finish it, and he can eat! They don't mess around when they say double burger. The regular, single patty burger was definitely enough for me. We had a great experience with great burger and we will definitely return!

Nice local place in Cincy, tasty & fresh burgers. Must try when you visit Cincy. I had double cheeseburgers with their crispy fries, so good.
