    Would rate ZERO stars. I moved 2 hours away in January 1 of 2022. Called the beach street location to cancel month to month membership on January 1, 2022. I was told that all cancellations must be done in person. I finally made it back to the area yesterday. I walked in and asked to cancel and was informed that cancellation is only possible online and or the app. I left that facility, having wasted , 4 hours of my life and downloaded the app. There is no option to cancel membership anywhere on the app or website. I called the beach and Keller locations on my 2 hour trip back home and there was an immediate bogus weather message stating that gym hours would be affected. Stop stealing my money. You've stolen 4 months of membership fees. Your underhanded slimy tactics will fail. I do not want to be affiliated with your fraudulent company in any way. I will take this to Twitter next. Then to investigative news. Let's go!

    Originally signed up for a month to month membership. In my mind month to month means when you no longer find the gym fit to your needs you can cancel. When I called months ago to cancel the person over the phone told me I was actually in a contract till June and I could either a) pay up until June or b) finish out the "contract" I never agreed to. I avoid contracts for this specific reason- which originally was a perk about this gym. Today, I called to cancel and was told I actually did have a gray membership and could cancel at anytime. So, I have paid essentially for months thinking I could not cancel until June for a gym I am no longer attending. Then when I go to cancel online it tells me my membership will end in July...... we are in the merry month of May...... Interesting. Poor communication. Unprofessional. Regardless of how much it is a month (the price is not bad) the principal should always be to be informative and honest upfront.

    All of the staff are super friendly. They have a good variety of equipment. I could stand for the cardio section to be smaller to make room for more strength training area. And clocks. Why aren't there more clocks? Bigger clocks with second hands that are more visible would be nice.

    I’ve been a member of Blink for about four years. I started out in NYC and was so happy to see them expand to other states. Always super clean and modern equipment. There is plenty of space and it is never overcrowded.

    Terrible gym. They approved and set up a cancellation for my account just for their "Non Existent Manager Who's NEVER There" to not file the paperwork and now have me in collections. Can't ever get a hold of anyone. Save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere else.

    This by far is the worst company I have ever came in contact with!!! my family moved out of state and needed to cancel our membership. we sent the certified letter and followed all their steps they asked. so I assumed we were good. yeah right, 2 yrs have now gone by and I just happen to look at our bank and see these charges from something called blink moto and come to find out it is (fitness 2k) new gym name. I try and call to speak with someone at a corporate level but they only communicate via email very unprofessional terrible communication. I actually want to speak to a human being to explain my situation and frustration. this company has stolen over 1k from my family. shame on you because as far as I knew it was taken care of.

    This is a sketchy business. When I went I cancel my membership a couple of months ago they did not disclose their cancelation policy transparently, and proceeded to process it incorrectly, continue to send bills and then are inflexible to correct it. Take your business elsewhere.

    Decent gym, the staff 90% doesn’t acknowledge you when you come in… which I don’t know if that’s good or bad? A treadmill has been broken for about a month and the AC isn’t set low enough. But it’s clean and a lot of options. :)

    While there certainly are many gyms around, all designed and tailored around their desired clientele, Blink is a great overall gym! Simple, clean, easy in easy out. I highly recommend👍🏼👍🏼

    I went to this gym once with my stepdad as a guest and it was just a normal gym. Staff was nice, they seem to have a guy going around disinfecting the machines. I like that it’s literally in walking distance from me. I want to see about a membership but I keep seeing reviews on how it’s really hard to cancel and their are fees. Still undecided on whether to join..anyone have any insight?

    This is a great gym! The staff is super friendly and takes good care of the facility! The machines work good and they are kept clean. The showers are clean and hot….but not that kind of hot if ya know what I mean 🤣🤣🤣 I was in there today and a dude came out of the cleaning closet and I was like woe my ninja 🥷 don’t be sneaking up on me in the locker room. Honestly the play list creeps me out but I’m into gospel rap and country so yeehaw. The staff even laughs at my dad jokes. No one does that 🌈🕺 it’s alright if men wear makeup I guess but they better be on TV if they do 🤣🤣🤣 I say what I want cause I’m pretty in shape at blink 😉

    If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been trying to cancel my membership for OVER A MONTH. I called customer service to cancel and they gave me an email to send my request to, and provided me with my member ID. Then I sent an email with my member ID and requested to cancel, and they replied back and told me I had to submit an online form through my member portal. So I logged into my online portal and the FORM DOESN’T WORK. It will not move forward and the “continue” button doesn’t work. So I emailed the cancellation email again, and I said the website didn’t work and I would like to cancel my membership manually via email. And they replied and told me to submit my cancellation online via my member portal......I WOULD IF I COULD. Believe me, I want nothing to do with this company. Customer service doesn’t even listen to you, they kick the can down to the next person. Oh, but they did tell me I could also cancel my membership another way....via CERTIFIED MAIL to their corporate office! I like that my options are 1. Don’t cancel forever because none of the cancellation options work or 2. PAY for certified mail to cancel. DON’T JOIN THIS GYM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED $10 FOR LIFE.

    I was in the gym exercising a few days ago, and it was sweating hot there. There is non sense of cool air at all. The air pressure from the air conditioner’s fan is very low and warm. You don’t even feel air coming out of the vents. It would be much better if there were some high velocity pedestal fans in there. The fans would do a better job than that pathetic AC. The air conditioner’s performance is zero. I had never seen anything like this in any other blink fitness. One star for this location for cooling temperatures. I am going to other blink locations now and they all have cool soothing temperature in their gyms.

    This is Adam. I am very disappointed at this blink fitness location . The air conditioner does not work here. It is hot in the gym. Difficult to breathe during workout. The management is negligent in repairing the ac system. I prefer 24 hour fitness. They have cold ac in their gym all the time. Beside the ac I never had any problems with blink fitness at North beach and basswood blvd.

    I have no beef with them. They’re courteous, provide sanitizing wipes, have free WiFi and they have enough machines. My schedule works with their hours.

    I used to love this place. However, I canceled this membership 3 years ago and just got a call after 3 YEARS from an attorney & they've turned me over to collections. Seriously!!?? So... BEWARE!!!! Check them out THOROUGHLY! This is a common practice by this company

    It's good wish they had 2.5 weights also there is this one lady that works there that was forcing me to take the free personal training class they offer, even though I refused multiple times. Then I finally agreed, apparently in their system they couldn't find me so the lady told me I already took the class, I did not by the way. Anyway that encounter was annoying. Also one time she made me put my bag in the locker when everyone else was able to have their bag out 😒

    Love this gym! I come here every year when I fly into town to visit family. Heidi and staff were friendly and helpful. Facility is always clean and organized.

    Gym is decent, staff is nice. However, it’s always extremely hot. Today the thermostat on the free weights side said 80° and the cardio area said 78°. Sometimes the thermostats are turned completely off. They also don’t ever have the shades down to block the sun and keep it cool.

    Great gym! Staff is awesome , really informative . I tried a training session and would highly recommend their trainers.Especially for someone new to fitness. Fernando was my trainer and for the money is definitely worth it.

    Two (2) months and counting regarding the same Strength machine being Out of Service. New Business Model for the Blink location (Beach Street) is....If you want to pay decent price for a Gym that continues to struggle with Equipment Management then come on down to Blink Fitness. We buy out our Competition, continue to take your money and then place Out of Order signage on Equipment while saying Part Shortage is the reason why Equipment still broken. Yet, Home Depot or Lowes has parts that can be used to fix Equipment. I should go around the Gym and start a Pool on when the Equipment will be fixed.

    I really love blink fitness .I have been a member since 2014. This is a great gym except for one big problem for the last 10 days at this location.The owner of the gym is not cooling this location at all. In the back of the gym it is at least 75° all day long. Everyone is sweating in this gym it’s even hard to breathe sometimes. There is no air circulation at all. When you are exercising in the gym your body temperature rises rapidly and you definitely need a cool gym in June . I am so fed up that I have Decided to cancel my membership. The owner is not adjusting the thermostat to cooler degrees. He is saving money on electric bills over the member’s sweat. I have spoken with the management and no one cares about resolving this issue at all. I have observed two other members complain about the heat in the gym in front of me. I really hate writing negative remarks about any business but in this case I was really compelled to do so due to unbearable sweaty conditions especially when you have about 50 people working out in inadequate temperature. Once this issue is resolved I will delete this review immediately

    Would give ZERO! if able to. Talked to the staff, told them I only wanted a month to month plan, was told ok, signed up, need to cancel now and was told Im in a contact and will have to pay to end it early. Went back and forth with Heidi on how I told them I didnt want a contact and was under the impression that I wasnt in one and was told I shouldve read the agreement more closely. Was also told they change the plans every 2 weeks between being in a contact and not being in a contact so you never really know which week you're signing up for. Ridiculous.
