I
booked
this
hotel
through
American
Express
travel.
I
would
like
to
preface
it
by
saying
that
hindsight
I
would
have
booked
directly
through
the
hotel,
because
the
room
pictures
that
are
on
the
travel
sites
are
deceptive.
The
room
that
we
thought
we
were
booking
was
not
the
actual
realm
that
we
booked.
The
hotel
was
able
to
upgrade
us
which
we
were
extremely
appreciative
for.
I
highly
recommend
the
rooms
that
are
the
Villas,
as
they
have
been
renovated,
and
do
have
sunken
in
Jacuzzis
and
screened
porches.
The
manager,
Silvia,
thankfully,
I
understood
the
issue,
and
did
the
upgrade,
and
which
we
were
very
happy
with.
Pher
(Christopher)
at
the
front
desk
was
also
extremely
helpful
and
diligent.
We
would
also
like
to
say
some
words
about
Felix,
who
does
the
Guaraní
talk
and
is
a
porter.
I
highly
recommend
the
talk
as
it
was
very
informative.
We
walked
around
the
hotel
area
as
Felix
described
what
it’s
like
to
be
Guaraní
and
what
it’s
like
to
live
in
the
two
worlds
by
also
leaving
his
village
each
day
to
come
work
at
the
hotel.
He
is
very
knowledgeable,
and
was
able
to
answer
all
of
our
questions
and
provide
a
wonderful
overview
of
Guaraní
life.
We
enjoyed
the
restaurant
for
breakfast
as
well.
Again,
I
cannot
stress
enough
that
if
you
are
a
traveler
who
appreciates
a
more
“luxurious”
room,
book
the
villas.
Staff
was
extremely
nice!
