The property is beautiful, the rooms are nice (amazing water pressure) and staff at the lobby are very nice and friendly. They also offer fun free activities inside the hotel. The only downside is that the restaurant is a nightmare. The staff there act like they really don’t want to be there, and the food is incredibly bad and overpriced. Honestly some of the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Stay there but don’t eat there.

Honestly terrible experience at this hotel. I would recommend going anywhere else. I had 24 hours in Iguazu I was trying to see both the Argentinian and Brazilian side of the falls. I got to my hotel with plenty of time and they said they would call a taxi for me. This taxi company arrived and then drove a little way down the road he counted our bills and had an issue with every bill. He wouldn’t drive us. I can’t believe a hotel would use and recommend such a disreputable cab company. If I miss seeing both sides of the falls it will be directly due to the poor management of this hotel. I‘ll happily update this soon. TL;DR do NOT stay here

Great place for falls visits. Nice restaurant. Delicious steaks, though limited other options. Some good kids food. Continental breakfast was good. Kids loved the pool and lots of play for all ages and swimming abilities. Beautiful caterpillars everywhere in April. We would certainly return. Taxi service was a bit expensive, but convenient, so there's the trade. Good rooms and good options for extra kids beds. Not just mattresses on the floor.

The hotel reception is in a portacabin by the unmade turning circle, the welcome was less than warm and no mention was made of any possible bike hire/guided trips. Past the reception block, the jungle location looked attractive and the rooms were clean but they were dank and our swimming costumes/wet clothes from the falls did not dry even after 2 days of trying both on the veranda and in the bathroom. There was a frog in the swimming pool and many flying insects with no attempt to clean it. The sun loungers were uncomfortable. The breakfast in the unattractive restaurant was terrible, with stale pastries and watery eggs. None of the staff away from reception spoke even rudimentary English or French. DO NOT have dinner at the hotel. The menu was online only but the "English" version only translated a couple of options, everything else was in Spanish. Overcoming this, the food was between poor and inedible and extremely expensive compared to excellent restaurants available in Puerto Iguazu a 800 pesos taxi ride away. The falls are superb but there must be better hotel options.

Nice setting, decent rooms, en suites, beds. Good pool area with sunbeds, bar etc Very helpful, multi language reception staff. Only real negative was surly restaurant staff and long delays for food to arrive if you use the restaurant for an evening meal.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Room was big and nice, but certain facility in the room was quite dated.

Generally helpful staff (but did forget our packed breakfast) Good rooms - distributed around the site "in the jungle" But otherwise felt very commercial Requires Taco to get into town

Great place to relax surrounded by luscious rainforest. Amazing staff. Must try the bike tour by Nadia included in the amenities. She is incredible! Restaurant is delicious and the drinks at the bar by the pool are fantastic

I would want fellow travellers that this isn't really a hotel by Western standards but a motel. Our rooms were infested with bugs (ants and others), all was shabby, the rooms had a very strong smell of mildew and the bedding was wet from moisture. We felt so uncomfortable that we splurged on new tickets to leave a day earlier to go to back to Buenos Aires, we just could not fathom spending another night there... The setting is very tranquil though and the pool is beautiful (although freezing)

Very cute and clean hotel. There was a bees nest forming on the patio and no table out there. It's a bit far away from the town but the hotel was great and called taxis for us. The pool was empty with no explanation. The bistro was a nice amenity.

The property has a lot of potential, perhaps a new management is needed. The checking process was a bit confusing staff was not familiar with that process to give out room keys. The service at the restaurant was awful, lack of management, training and food & beverage procedures, customers orders were taking randomly not by order of arrival. When the food finally arrived it was the wrong food, no table numbers. Staff congregated behind the counter the entire time, never checked on tables. Bar tender set drinks at the restaurant bar and the they sat there for more then 5 minutes before the customer received it. We sat down at 8:30 pm for dinner we placed our order at 9:15. Patrons were going behind the bar to fill up water as the staff was distracted talking to each other. This property needs management to intervene fast!!!!

The hotel is great! The owners tried to disturb the least amount of nature. It’s also located inside the forest with great views. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our only issue was regarding the lack of staff onsite. There’s only one receptionist, one bartender, and not enough kitchen staff. We had to wait 40min for our appetizer and 90min for our main course. It seems like the owners don’t want to hire more staff even though the rooms are in the top 5 more expensive in the area

I booked this hotel through American Express travel. I would like to preface it by saying that hindsight I would have booked directly through the hotel, because the room pictures that are on the travel sites are deceptive. The room that we thought we were booking was not the actual realm that we booked. The hotel was able to upgrade us which we were extremely appreciative for. I highly recommend the rooms that are the Villas, as they have been renovated, and do have sunken in Jacuzzis and screened porches. The manager, Silvia, thankfully, I understood the issue, and did the upgrade, and which we were very happy with. Pher (Christopher) at the front desk was also extremely helpful and diligent. We would also like to say some words about Felix, who does the Guaraní talk and is a porter. I highly recommend the talk as it was very informative. We walked around the hotel area as Felix described what it’s like to be Guaraní and what it’s like to live in the two worlds by also leaving his village each day to come work at the hotel. He is very knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of our questions and provide a wonderful overview of Guaraní life. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast as well. Again, I cannot stress enough that if you are a traveler who appreciates a more “luxurious” room, book the villas. Staff was extremely nice!

The “selva” this hotel was built on was recently stolen from the Yryapu who live in this area.

Mixed experiences with this hotel. Its a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town and you really do feel like you're deep in the jungle. Laying in the hammock on our balcony in the evening and listening to the wildlife was a real pleasure. The downsides of this are that unless you pay USD$10 each way to get into town you're mostly trapped into eating at the hotel. The service in the restaurant was efficient but not friendly. There's also no assistance or carts you can use for your luggage so beware that you may be carrying your bags a fair distance to your room.

Nice location in the jungle but you will need a taxi to get to town (most charge 1,000 pesos). Rooms are adequate. Be aware the basic room does not have a mosquito net. Because of that we upgraded and ended up in one of the honeymoon rooms but they had just put in new locks and we had repeated problems trying to get in and wasted time waiting for maintenance. The restaurant was good and pool area was quite nice. They also offer bike and walking trips which we didn’t have time to do but they seemed worth trying

Room was extremely humid, impossible to dry clothes. Prefer the upper floor rooms, or your upstairs neighbors will wake you up every time they move. Otherwise good service, good food at the restaurant, and good pool area (prepare for cold water though)

This lodge has a beautiful and peaceful setting in the jungle, absolutely beautiful rooms and, to top it off, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend staying here as it is so relaxing and there are nice touches like a fluffy robe in your room and a hammock on the balcony to lay in and listen to the birds. Thanks to Christian and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcome and for teaching us a bit about Argentinian culture. We would definitely stay again if we are ever back in Iguazu.

Excellent hotel - location, rooms and pool are stunning, really nice food. What impressed us most was the staff, all of whom were incredibly helpful. My boyfriend and I had just been involved in a car accident on the way to the hotel and Gaston (receptionist) went above and beyond to make sure we were okay, and helped us arrange going to the hospital and getting back safely.

I’ve seen comments that this hotel looks a bit worn and that’s kind of fair but its charm is its location in the jungle so a bit of wear and tear suits it. Our room was big, clean and well equipped. We arrived late so wanted to eat in their restaurant rather than trek into town. My attempts to book a table by email failed (their head office incompetence) so we had to wait until 9:30 but much to our surprise the meal was terrific. Breakfast was good too, and a half day lounging at the pool was very pleasant.

We stayed for 2 nights in March 2018 while visiting the falls. We found the hotel fabulous. The food was great - my husband had a gigantic steak which was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean with lots of hot water and when my husband knocked a lamp over they came over immediately to fix it and we were not charged. I was sorry that we were only there the 2 nights.

The hotel is surrounded by rain forest and has an amazing pool, so after a day of hiking in the park you can hang out on the pool deck looking at the trees (and the stars!) The restaurant is incredible, including the free breakfast. The staff is helpful and the rooms are big, comfortable, and clean.
