My
family
and
I
tried
this
restaurant
for
the
first
time.
The
appetizers
were
rated
3.8/5,
which
is
not
bad
and
fairly
average
for
Lebanese
food.
Moving
on
to
the
grills,
the
tawook
was
good,
like
in
other
Lebanese
restaurants,
but
the
kefta
was
undercooked
(we
complained
about
it).
The
real
disappointment
came
with
the
farrouj—it
was
overcooked,
dry,
and
inedible.
We
informed
the
waiter
about
the
issue
before
even
attempting
to
eat
it.
When
the
waiter
took
the
food
back,
the
owner
instructed
him
to
return
it
to
the
table,
showing
little
concern.
The
owner
later
came
to
us,
insisting
that
everything
was
perfect
and
making
excuses
like,
"If
we
didn't
cook
them
this
way,
you
would
have
said
they
were
raw."
As
for
the
fruits,
they
were
average;
the
watermelon
was
warm,
but
the
others
were
fine.
The
traditional
desserts
were
dry
and
excessively
sweet.
In
terms
of
coffee
(qahwa),
at
most
Lebanese
restaurants,
we
are
usually
served
qahwa
multiple
times,
even
while
eating
dessert.
We
asked
the
restaurant
staff
multiple
times
(4-5
times)
if
they
serve
qahwa,
and
they
assured
us
they
do
and
that
they
would
bring
it
right
away.
However,
after
waiting
for
30
minutes,
no
coffee
was
served,
leaving
us
disappointed
and
sleepy.
